As an important inflammatory cytokine, tumor necrosis factor-α (TNT-α) plays an important role in the process of cerebral ischemia-reperfusion. The discussion of the dynamic changes, the mechanism of neurotoxicity and antagonizing the therapeutic effect of TNF-α in the process of cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury will provide theoretical basis for the treatment of cerebrovascular diseases.

Objective To investigate the expression of nm23,integrin ? 5? 1 and VEGF in breast cancer(BC),and the effect of the expression on the development of BC. Methods The expression of nm23, integrin ? 5? 1 and VEGF in 51 patients with breast cancer were examined by immunohistochemistry,and their correlatios were ananlyzed. Results The low expression of nm23 in BC tissue was associated with lymph nodes metastasis. The low expression of integrin ? 5? 1 and the high expression of VEGF in BC tissues were associated with the lymph nodes metastasis and low differentiation of the tumor.The expression of nm23 and integrin ? 5? 1 in breast cancer tissues had positive correlation(P

6.Development of a hydrogel microsphere delivery system for rhBMP2

Objective: To design and synthesize a novel vector for rhBMP2 delivery system in tissue engineering. Methods:Dextran glycidol methacrylate(dex-GMA) was synthesized with dextran(dex) and glycidol methacrylate(GMA).Dex-GMA microspheres were prepared by suspension polymerization. The swelling behavior of the microspheres was evaluated by the swelling equilibrium parameter Q. The biodegradation properties of the dextran-based hydrogel microspheres were assessed by the surface morphology before and after biodegradation. Results:Microspheres of dex-GMA in the size(diameter) of 20 to 80 ?m with good configuration were produced. Q value of the microspheres with the diameter of 20-30 ?m was 10.9?3.3,that of those with 70-80 ?m 8.9?6.4.Stirring speed, span-80(emulsifer) quantity and the proportion of dex-GMA affected the size of the microspheres. rhBMP2 was enveloped into the microspheres. Complete degradation of the microspheres was observed during 20 to 40 days at 37 ℃ in normal saline. Conclusion: Dex-GMA hydrogel microspheres may be a release controlling system for rhBMP2 delivery.
7.Assessment of the microbiologic and clinical effects of ultrasonic scaling combining with simultaneous antimicrobial agent irrigation

Objective:To assess the clinical and microbiologic effects of ultrasonic scaling with simultanous irrigation with chlorhexidine(CHX), conventional ultrasonic scaling or subgingival irrigation. Methods: 20 teeth in 7 patients with periodontitis were equally divided into test and control group. Patients in the test group were treated by irrigation with CHX during ultrasonic scaling(Master400),those in the control with irrigating after scaling(MiNi ). Clinical assessments of bleeding on probing (BOP),probing depth (PD) were made just before and 7 and 14 days after treatment. The subgingival microbiologic examination was performed before and 0,7 and 14 days after treatment. [Objective]To study the biocompatibility of nacre on cultured human osteoblasts in vitro.[Method]The iliac bone of human were added with collagenase-trypsin,a lot of osteoblasts were released out.Then the osteoblasts were purified and cultured.Subsequently,the 3rd generation cultured human osteoblasts were inoculated with the extract of three materials:nacre,hydroxyapatite,and rubber.The appearance of osteoblast was observed under the phase contrast microscope.Microstructure of the osteoblast was observed under transmission electron microscope.Additionally,to determine whether these three materials affect cell proliferation,the numbers of BrdU-labeled cells were examined at three groups.MTT assay was tested to observe the viability of human osteoblasts.[Result]Under the phase contrast microscope,the appearance of the osteoblasts in two groups were spindle or triangle like,and black nodes were seen in confluent cell layer 19 days after cultured.The observation of electron microscopy showed that the nucleus of the osteoblasts in two groups were big and round,and there were a large number of mitochondrion and rough endoplasmic reticulum in two groups.Stereological analyses of the numbers of BrdU-labeled cells revealed that females produced more cells than males in the dentate gyrus but not in the subventricular zone.[Conclusion]The nacre have no harmful effect to character of biology of human osteoblasts in vitro.
9.An Effective Strategy for the Development of Rapeseed Oil-Based Biodiesel Industry

Rapeseed oil is one of the major raw materials for biodiesel production. The bottleneck of rapeseed oil-based biodiesel production at present is high cost of raw materials, which generally accounts for about 75% of total production cost. Current status and principal problems concerned in the production of biodiesel from rapeseed oil in China and other countries were introduced, based on which it was proposed to grow high-erucic acid rape in existing winter fallow fields and jointly produce biodiesel, erucic acid and its derivative products, and other highly valuable by-products such as glycerin and sterols from high-erucic acid rapeseed oil. The feasibility of this development strategy was analyzed in terms of product and market demand potential, economic benefits of enterprises, techniques and conditions of production, and source of raw materials. It was believed that the implementation of the strategy in China was of great significance in realizing rise and sustainable development of rapeseed oil-based biodiesel production, improving quality of biodiesel, promoting the development of biochemical engineering and many other industries, as well as in building a socialist new countryside.

The voltage-gated potassium channels Kvl.5 is widely expressed in the plasma membranes of numerous tumor cells and it can contribute to a variety of cellular functions such as proliferation,ap optosis,and cell cycle.Several types of antineoplastic drugs can change the expression of Kv1.5 and then affect the biological processes.Kv1.5 is identified as a novel target for therapy in human cancer.The researches of Kv1.5 will contribute to gain a further understanding of the molecular mechanism of tumor and provide therapeutic opportunity for the prevention and treatment of cancer.
