1.Application of endoscopy in pediatric surgery
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2017;32(11):816-818
The application of endoscopy in pediatric surgery began in 1970s,and it was used for diagnosis of disease at first. After that, laparoscopy and thoracoscopy were widely applied in pediatric general surgery, urology and thoracic surgery.Nowadays, most pediatric abdominal and thoracic diseases could be treated by endoscopic minimally invasive surgery, including pediatric congenital malformation, acute abdominal disease, tumor, and so on.Neonatal laparoscopy has developed rapidly in recent years, which could be performed in most neonatal surgeries. With the development of technology, the application of 3D laparoscopy and surgical robot bring laparoscopy into a new era.Predictably, with the updates of endoscopic devices and the technical improvement, endoscopy could be more popular and used for more difficult surgery and younger children.

Objective:To deteat N‐terminal pro B type natriuretic peptide (NT‐pro BNP) and cystatin C (Cys C) con‐tent in Kazak patients with hypertensive heart disease (HHD) complicated heart failure (HF) and analyze the corre‐lation between them .Methods :A total of 100 Kazak HHD patients were divided into hypertension complicated HF group (Complicated HF group , n=50) and pure HHD group (n=50) .Venous blood sample was taken within 24h after hospitalization for measuring serum levels of NT‐proBNP and Cys C ,then they were compared and analyzed between two groups .Results:Compared with pure HHD group ,there were significant rise in serum levels of NT‐proBNP [ (246.53 ± 165.65) ng/L vs .(4568.32 ± 2722.36) ng/L] and Cys C [ (0.82 ± 0.31) mg/L vs .(1.93 ± 2.46) mg/L] in complicated HF group , P< 0.01 both .Spearman correlation analysis indicated that serum NT‐proBNP level was positively correlated with Cys C level in complicated HF group , r=0.961 , P<0.01. Conclusion:In Kazak patients with hypertensive heart disease complicated HF ,serum NT‐proBNP and Cys C levels significantly rise and they significantly positively correlate ,so it suggest there may be slight damaged renal function also .
4.Clinical Observation of Locally Advanced Gastric Cancer Treated by Compound Matrine Injections Combined with Concurrent Chemoradiotherapy
Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2016;23(10):35-37
Objective To study the recent clinical efficacy of compound matrine injections combined with concurrent chemoradiotherapy in the treatment of locally advanced gastric cancer. Methods Totally 65 cases of untreated locally advanced gastric cancer were randomly divided into treatment group (33 cases) and control group (32 cases). The control group was treated by the conformal intensity modulated radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy. On the basis of the control group, the treatment group was given compound matrine injections 20 mL/time, once a day for 5 weeks. The recent curative effect, the quality of life and adverse reaction of the two groups were observed. Results The recent curative effect rate of the treatment group was 66.67% (22/33), the control group was 40.63% (13/32), the difference was statistically significant (P=0.031). On hematologic toxicity, leukopenia occurred in the treatment group was 30.30% (10/33), the control group was 65.63% (21/32), the difference was statistically significant (P=0.004). KPS of 26 cases (78.79%) improved in the treatment, and 18 cases (56.25%) improved in the control group. Conclusion The effects of compound matrine injections combined with concurrent chemoradiotherapy for locally advanced gastric cancer are good, they can improve short-term efficacy, reduce side effects, and improve the quality of life.

OBJECTIVE: To strengthen the risk management in clinical drug trial so as to minimize the risk.METHODS: Based on modern risk management theory as well as the practical condition of the current clinical drug trial,an aggregate analysis was done and some opinions and suggestions were put forward.RESULTS: Under current model,it is objective and inevitable for the risks involved in clinical trial, but which could be reduced or avoided by taking some effective measures such as risk predication, standardization of clinical trial,ADR monitoring etc.CONCLUSION: There is risk in the drug clinical trial and it is necessary to conduct risk management.

Aim To study the hypoglycemic effect and the mechanism of novel sulfonyluric compound G-003. Methods ① After compound G-003 was givenig for 7 days, the levels of fasting plasma glucose of normal mouse was assayed with glucose oxidase kit. ② Rat pancreatic islets, adipocytes and mouse heaptocytes were isolated and cultured. Effects of compound G-003 on insulin release, glucose transport and utilization and glycogen synthesis were studied. Results Compound G-003 markedly decreased the levels of fasting plasma glucose of normal mouse, stimulated isolated pancreatic rat islets to release insulin and increased glucose transport and utilization in isolated rat adipocytes. Compound G-003 has no effect on glycogen synthesis in isolated mouse hepatocytes. Conclusion Compound G-003 has a significantly hypoglycemic effect. The hypoglycemic mechanism of novel compound G-003 may be attributed to stimulate secretion of insulin and increase glucose transport and utilization.

Objective To study the effect of CO_2 pneumoperitoneum on animals with intra-abdominal infection. Methods A total of 60 New Zealand white rabbits were used in this study. The animals were divided into two groups (30 in each),and injected with Escherichia coli or bacteroides fragilis into the abdominal cavity to establish models of intra-abdominal infection. In each group, the rabbits were subdivided into laparotomy, pneumoperitoneum, and control subgroups. Before the injection, the peripheral blood of the rabbits in each group was obtained to determine the WBC count and level of C-reactive protein (CRP,by ELISA).After the operation, the tests were repeated for 4 times at days 1,2,4,7 respectively.Afterwards, the animals were killed, and the viscera were harvested for aerobic and anaerobic culture. Results In each of the two groups, the WBC count in the laparotomy subgroup were significantly higher than that in the pneumoperitoneum subgroup at day 1 (P

Objective To investigate the relationship between acupuncture analgesia and cellular immunity, the acupuncture effect on expression of c fos mRNA, ppENKmRNA,iNOSmRNA and iNOS activity in the mouse peritoneal macrophage were studied. Methods Twenty BALB/c mice were randomly divided into 2 groups:a,the acupuncture group treated with 5Hz electroacupuncture (EA); b, the control group treated with no EA. The pain threshold was detected by K + ionophoresis method before and after EA or restraining. The experiment was performed by using in situ hybridization, NADPH NBT histochemistry, RNA dot blot and protein dot blot techniques. All dot blot signals were scanned for statistical analysis. Results The hybridization signals and iNOS activity appeared as granules in bluish violet color, localized in the cytoplasm of the macrophage. All dot blot signals were increased in the acupuncture group, when compared with those in the control group( P

Microbiology 1992;0(06):-
Based on DNA sequence encoding cholesterol oxidase reported on the NCBI,cholesterol oxidase gene was cloned from Brevibacterium sp. DGCDC-82 by PCR methods, which showed homology of 98% to the previously reported cholesterol oxidase gene from Brevibacterium sterolicum ATCC21387. Subsequently, the resulting products were digested with NcoI and EcoRI and ligated to the pET28a vector by T4 DNA ligase. The recombinant plasmid,pET28a-choB,was transformed into Escheriehia coli BL21-CodonPlus(DE3)-RP which contain extra copies of the argU and proL genes. The positive clone was induced with IPTG,and enzyme expressed in BL21-CodonPlus(DE3)-RP,the enzyme activity was about 340U/L.The expression products were analyzed by SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis indicating that about 55kD protein was obtained, which accounted for about 16% of the total cell protein.
