1.Research progress on the invasive fungal infections in neonates
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2015;30(10):790-792
Invasive fungal infections(IFI) is significantly increasing in the neonatal intensive care unit recent years. The characteristics of IFI are low diagnosis rate, high mortality and being prone to involve in the nervous system. In this paper, the epidemiology, pathogens, risk factors, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of neonatal IFI are reviewed to improve the understanding of this disease.
4.Thrombosis diseases in lung cancer:clinical analysis of 18 cases.
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2000;0(12):-
Objective To increase the awareness of lung cancer complicating thrombosis disease(TD).Methods From 1995 to 2004 18 cases of lung cancer with TD were retrospectively reviewed in the Second Hospital Affiliated to China Medical University. Results Of the 18 cases, there were 7 cases complicated with deep venous thrombosis(DVT);3 cases with pulmonary thromboembolism(PTE);4 cases with DVT and PTE;4 cases with nonbacterial thrombotic endocarditis(NBTE).5 cases with DVT and(or)PTE occurred 2~6 months before detection of lung cancer,3 cases of NBTE had brain and peripheral artery embolism 2~7 months before detection of lung cancer. Conclusion TD could be warning a sign indicating advanced lung cancer.
5.The chinical dependablities between type 2 diabetes and lung cancer
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2003;0(01):-
Objective To analyze the association between type 2 diabetes and lung cancer and study their clinical features. Methods 76 lung cancer patients admitted in Shengjing hospital from June 2006 to June 2008 and their neighbors(or their colleagues)were enrolled to conduct a 1∶1 matched case control study. Results 27.63% of lung cancer patients had type 2 diabetes.Adenocarcinoma was the most common type associated with type 2 diabetes, accounting for 47.62%.There was no statistical significance in ages and gender between cases and their matched control. The symptoms of type 2 diabetes with lung cancers were not typical. Conclusion Type 2 diabetes is significantly correlated with lung cancers. The incidence of type 2 diabetes in lung cancer patients is higher than that in subjects without lung cancers.Early diagnosis and strict blood glucose control are critical for good prognosis.
6.Three-dimensional conformal radiation therapy for postoperative local recurrence or metastasis in colorectal carcinoma
Chinese Journal of Radiation Oncology 1992;0(04):-
Objective To evaluate the effects of three-dimensional conformal radiation therapy (3DCRT) on the local control and survival of patients with local recurrence or metastasis in colorectal cancer. Methods Twenty-three patients with local recurrence or metastasis in colorectal cancer were irradiated by 3DCRT. The regimen was: total dose 40-45?Gy, 5-7?Gy/f, 1f/2d. Results Of the 23 patients, 8 achieved CR and 9 PR with a total response rate of 74%(17/23). The overall 1-, 2-and 3-year survival rates were 78%,52% and 30%. Conclusion 3DCRT is able to prolong the survival and improve the life quality of patients with local recurrence or metastasis in colorectal cancer.
7.Effect of Dihuang Yinzi on synaptophysin, extracellular regulated protein in hippocampus of aged rats
Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(21):-
Objective To explore the function and mechanism of Dihuang Yinzi (DHYZ) in promoting learning and memory and delaying brain aging. Methods The Wistar rats aged 20 months were randomly assigned to receive oral administration of 6, 12, 18 g?kg~ -1 ?d~ -1 DHYZ, or 2 ml/d normal saline (control) for 30 d (n=12 in each group), then space memory was detected with Morris Water Maze, and expression of synaptophysin (SYP) and extracellular regulated protein (ERK) were measured by immunohistochemistry and Western blotting. Results Rats administrated with DHYZ showed shorter mean escape latency (P
9.The effects of enamel matrix proteins on the synthesis of alkaline phosphatase and type I collagen in osteoblasts
Journal of Practical Stomatology 1995;0(04):-
Objective:To study the effects of enamel matrix proteins (EMPs) on the biological characters of osteoblasts.Methods:MC3T3-E1 osteoblasts were cultured in vitro and exposed to EMPs at 300,400 and 500 ?g/ml.Enzyme kinetic method was used to assay alkaline phosphatase (ALP) synthesis and 3H-proline labelling combining collagenase digestion method was used to assay type I collagen synthesis. Results:The results manifested that ALP level in EMPs treated groups was higher than that in control group (P
10.Repeated Bronchial Artery Embolization in the Treatment of Recurrent Hemoptysis
Journal of Interventional Radiology 1994;0(03):-
This paper reported that bronchial artery embolization(BAE)had been used to treat 35 non tumorous patients who suffered from recurrent hemoptysis or acute severe hemoptysis after the given medical treatment was proved uneffective in 35 patients,7 patients had recurrent hemoptysis during 1.5~19 months postoperatively and were treated by BAE again, and there was no recurrence of hemoptysis during 7~34 months follow-up.Therefore, the authors considered that repeated BAE was still effective in treating recurrent hemoptysis.
