2.Clinical Value of Detecting Serum GP7 3 and Related Indexes of Liver Fibrosis Levels in Patients with Hepatitis B Cirrhosis

Objective To investigate the relationship between serum Golgi protein-73 (GP73)level and related indexes of he-patic fibrosis in patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis diseases and discuss the clinical value of GP73.Methods The level of GP73 was detected by ELISA;the levels of type Ⅳ precollagen (Ⅳ-C)and hyaluronic acid (HA)were measured by radio-immunity in serum from 11 patients with acute hepatitis B (AHB),31 patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB),71 patients with Hepatitis B Cirrhosis (LC),23 patients with primary hepatic carcinoma (PHC)and 34 healthy people with check-up. The clinical changes and relationship between the GP-73 level and the parameter of fibrous degeneration were studied.Re-sults The GP73 level in CHB group was 118.0±82.2μg/L;the GP73 level in LC group was 154.4±87.7μg/L and the GP73 level in PHC group was 196.5±89.6μg/L.Compared with the normal control group,statistically significant differ-ence were found in GP73 level of CHB group,LC group and PHC group (t values were -7.284,-7.909 and -9.609,re-spectively;P<0.01).As the progress of liver cirrhosis,the levels of GP73,Ⅳ-C and HA all increased gradually and the level of GP73 was significantly positively correlated to Ⅳ-C and HA (r valves were -0.212 and 0.487,respectively;P<0.01). Conclusion The GP73 was high expressed in chronic liver disease,especially in liver cirrhosis.The GP73 was significantly associated with the occurrence of hepatitis b liver fibrosis.There fore,GP73 could be used as a better index to monitor the fi-brosis degree.

6.Protein kinase Cβ-mediated matrix metalloproteinase 9 activation by acute femoral artery injury

Objective To investigate the activation of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)9 by acute arterial injury and the involved signaling mechanism in murine femoral artery. Methods In the C57BL/6 mice femoral artery denudation injury were performed. Total protein and membrane protein extracts were prepared from targeted arteries. The MMP 9 activity was measured by zymography assay, the expressions of MMP 9 antigen and protein kinase C (PKC) isoforms were measured by Western blot. Seventy-two hours after mice fed with PKCβ inhibitor (ruboxistaurin), the denudation injury triggered MMP 9 activation was reassessed. Results Within 4-24 hours after denudation injury, MMP 9 activity in femoral arteries was significantly increased, with a peak induction of (99.3±9.5) times the sham control (F=51.49,P<0.01) at 8 h. MMP 9 antigen increased in parallel with MMP 9 activity. Within 15-120 minutes after denudation injury, there was a significant induction of PKCβⅡ in membrane fraction of femoral arteries, with a maximum induction of (7.50±0.60) times the sham control (F=207.06,P<0.01)at 30 min. Injury-induced MMP 9 activation was significantly inhibited by ruboxistaurin. Conclusions MMP 9 activation is, at least in part, mediated by PKCβ in acute arterial denudation injury, it highlights the new target for therapeutic intervention to suppress the over-activation of MMP 9, which plays a critical role in restenosis.
7.Way of DIB Derived from DICOM Medical Image File

Objective: According to clinical investigation, analysis on the storage format of DICOM3.0 medical images files and displaying them is the basis of medical image processing. It is very important for medical imaging technology. Methods: Firstly, with the DICOM standard, the format of the medical images is studied, mostly the format of the information header and data element. Then the DIB display of the DICOM images in Windows platform is put forward, using linear window-transformation. Results: It is successfully realized the display of CT、MR images. With the manual window-transformation, the displaying would be better. Conclusion: As the results show, the method studied in the paper can preferably realize the display of the DICOM medical images, meeting certain clinical needs, and laying a foundation for the following study.

OBJECTIVE: To explore the therapeutic effect of the extracts from Cordyceps militaris on membraneous nephritis model rats.METHODS: Membraneous nephritis model rats were induced by using cationic bovine serum albumin.3 weeks later,urine protein quantity(24 h) was determined weekly;at the end of experiment,the hemorheology,serum creatinine(Scr),blood urea nitrogen(BUN) and serum lipid level were examined and the therapeutic efficacy was evaluated.RESULTS:C.militaris-treatment reduced urine protein quantity(24 h),blood viscosity,serum creatinine(Scr),blood urea nitrogen(BUN) and serum lipid level and delayed the progress of renal lesions.CONCLUSION: Extracts of C.militaris has the action of improving renal function.

10.Clinical analysis of activity of serological myocardial enzymes in children With mycoplasma pneumonia

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of myocardial enzymes on the cardiac muscle injury for the children with acute mycoplasma pneumonia(MP).Method The levels of phosphocreatine kinase-MB(CK-MB),lactate dehydrogenase(LDH),aspartate aminotransferase(AST)in 48children with MP(MP group)were measured,48 normal children served as control group.Results The levels of AST,LDH,CK-MB were(37.18±6.15),(294.10±46.20),(84.50±13.70)U/L in acute stage in MP group,they were higher than those in control group[(25.14±10.50),(140.50±76.21),(19.50±4.10)U/L](P<0.01).All the values above was descended in recovery phase in MP group,but the values of CK-MB[(27.80±8.40)U/L]and LDH[(189.50±69.73)U/L]were still higher than those in control group(P<0.01 or<0.05).Conclusions Children with MP may combine myocardial injuries and CK-MB isa parameter to diagnose the damage.Protection therapy for cardiac muscle should be performed on the children with MP.
