Objectives To detect the clinical significance of high sensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and immune function in children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia (MPP). Methods 103 children with MPP, 47 cases of systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS group), 56 cases of non-systemic inflammatory response syndrome (non-SIRS group) were recruited. 26 healthy children served as the control group. ELISA was used to detect the level of serum hs-CRP, immune in-dexes, IgG, IgA, and IgM, Cellular immune CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, CD4+/CD8+. Results The level of serum hs-CRP、IgG、IgM and CD8+in control group were significantly lower than those in non-SIRS group and SIRS group (P<0.05). The level of IgA、CD3+, CD4+, CD4+/CD8+in control group were significantly higher than those in non-SIRS group and SIRS group (P<0.05). The level of serum hs-CRP、IgG in SIRS group were significantly higher than those in non-SIRS group (P<0.05). The level of IgA、CD3+、CD4+、CD4+/CD8+in SIRS group were significantly lower than those in non-SIRS group. There was no significant difference in non-SIRS group and SIRS group of IgM and CD8+(P>0.05). The level change of serum hs-CRP were positively related with IgG (r=0.66,P=0.001) and were negatively related with IgA、CD4+、CD4+/CD8+(r=0.79, 0.67, 0.82, P all were<0.05) in chil-dren with MPP. Conclusion Children with MPP have Immunity function( including humoral immunity and cellular immunity) disorder which is related to the disease status. The level of hs-CRP could be an anpation index for the severity and immune func-tion of the children with MPP.

AIM: To determine the concentration of escitalopram in human plasma by HPLC-MS/MS and investigate the pharmacokinetics of escitalopram. METH-ODS: The method involved protein precipitation with methanol. The chromatographic separation was achieved within 6.0 min by using methanol-water with 15 mmol·L-1 ammonium acetate-formic acid (72:28:O.1, v/v/v) as mobile phase and a Lichrospher CN 150 mm×4.6 mm analytical column. The analytes were detected using an electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry in SRM mode. Detection of the ions was performed by monitoring the transitions of m/z 325.0 to 234.0 for escitalopram and m/z 409.1 to 238.1 for amlodipine (intemal standard), respectively. RESULTS:The standard curve was linear ( r = 0. 999) over the concentration range of 0.20 - 50.00 ng· ml- 1. Accuracy and precision were below the acceptance limits of 15%. The recoveries of escitalopram ranged from 96.0% to 103.6%. The lower limit of quantification for escitalopram was 0.20 ng· ml-1 using 200 μl plasma sample. The pharmacokinetic parameters of escitalopram after a single oral dosing of escitalopram oxalate tablet (10 rog)to ten healthy male volunteers were achieved. The Cmax, Tmax, AUC0-t, AUC0-∞, t1/2 and Ke of escitalopram were 9.21±2.10 ng·ml-1 , 3.75±1.04 h, 514.6±152.3 ng·h·ml-1 ,540.5±162.3 ng·h·ml-1 , 34.06±7.71 h and 0.021±0.004 h-1,respectively. CONCLUSION:The determination of concentration of escitalopram in human plasma by HPLC-MS/MS method was repid, sensitive and reliable. It can be used for clinical pharmacokinetic study of escitalopram.

ObjectiveTo investigate the expression of miR-21 in diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL)and normal lymph tissues and its potential relevance with clinicopathological characteristics.MethodsThe expression levels of miR-21 in 50 primary DLBCL and 12 normal lymph node tissue specimens were examined by TaqMan real-time polymerase chain reaction. The expression of bcl-2 and p53 was detected by immunohistochemistry staining. ResultsThe expression of miR-21 was significantly higher in tumor tissues than that in normal tissues, in GCB subtypes higher than in non-GCB subtypes. And it was negatively correlated with bcl-2(P=0.020),while positively correlated with p53(P=0.022). Up-regulated miR-21 expression was low in three years of survival rate. ConclusionMiR-21 may indicate a more aggressive phenotype and serve as a molecular prognostic marker in DLBCL. High-expression of miR-21 is a key feature that is correlated with cell proliferation in DLBCL.miR-21 may have some guiding significance in prognosis.bcl-2,p53 is possibly one of the targets of miR-21 in DLBCL.

Objective To set up the reference value of serum glyeated albumin (CA) in Chinese for using in clinical practice through a multi-center clinical trial. Methods Three hundred and eighty individuals with normal weight and normal glucose regulation, including 183 males and 197 females ranging from 20 to 69 years, were recruited from 10 hospitals in China. Serum GA levels were measured with liquid enzymatic method. Results (1) The GA level of the 380 subjects was (14. 5±1.9)%. When dividing these subjects by age into 3 subgroups, there was no difference in the GA levels among the 3 subgroups (P>0.05). Compared with the women, the men had higher GA level in the first subgroup aging from 20 to 39 (P =0.028). However, no significant difference was detected after adjusting with BMI as confounder.(2) When dividing those subjects by BMI into 3 subgroups, with BMI ranging from 18. 5-20. 9 kg/m2,21.0-22. 9 kg/m<'2>and 23.0-24. 9 kg/m<'2>respectively, we came to the following results: for men, there was no difference in the GA levels among the 3 subgroups (P>0.05), but for women, the GA level of the first subgroup was higher than that of the second subgroup (P =0.024). (3) The level of GA in the 2. 5th to 97.5th percentile was 10. 8%-17. 1%. (4) Sixty normal subjects were chosen to repeat evaluation of GA levels after 2-3 weeks and the GA levels were of no difference (P>0.05).Conclusion The normal range of serum GA for the Chinese population could be suggested at 11%-17%.
