Hereditary renal diseases (inherited kidney diseases) include glomerular diseases,tubular diseases and cystic diseases.The incidence of inherited kidney diseases is relatively low, but the variety of clinical insufficient understanding of the disease, the means test about inherited kidney diseases is also not standardized, easily lead to missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis.As the common clinical manifestation of hereditary renal disease and congenital/hereditary renal disease are mainly low blood potassium, kidney stones, polyuria, growth retardation, and may develop renal failure without treatment.Therefore, clinicians should pay special attention to the diagnosis of congenital/hereditary renal disease, and early interventions are recommended.
2.Progression of lobaplatin for cancer

Lobaplatin is the third generation platinum drug.Many studies on pharmacodynamics have confirmed that lobaplatin can block the cell cycle and induce cell apoptosis,and thus inhibits tumor cell proliferation effectively.Lobaplatin is not cross-resistant to cisplatin.Besides,it has good curative effect to various kinds of cancer patients with mild adverse reactions,and the patients are well tolerable to it.

Aconite roots are a common clinical poisonous herb in Chinese herb. It has the effect of restoring yang and rescuing collapse, supplementing fire and assisting yang, eliminating cold and relieving pain. It is used in the treatment of yang collapse and yang deficiency syndromes. It is called principle medicine of all medicines. Monks-hood polysaccharide is one of effective components in Aconite roots. The study found that monkshood polysaccharide has effects of immune regulation, antitumor, myocardial preservation, lipid lowering, etc.
4.Application of evaluation for the uncertainty of measurement in clinical laboratories

The uncertainty of measurement is an important parameter for clincial laboratories. According to the definition, the uncertainty of measurement is a parameter, associated with the result of a measurement, that characterizers the dispersion of the values that could reasonably be attributed to the measurand. So we can use the results of Internal Quality Control to evaluate the uncertainty of measurement in clinical laboratories. The standard uncertainty is equal to the standard deviation.
5.Generation of spaO-ompA fusion gene of Salmonella paratyphi A and the immunoprotection of expression product of the fusion gene

Objective To generate the spaO-ompA fusion gene of Salmonella paratyphi A and its prokaryotic expression system,and to determine the immunoprotection of the recombinant expression product rSpaO-OmpA.Methods A flexible peptide sequence was used to link spaO and ompA genes and a prokaryotic expression system of spaO-ompA fusion gene was subsequently generated.SDS-PAGE and Bio-Rad Agarose Image Analyzer were applied to examine the expression as well as the yield of the target recombinant protein rSpaO-OmpA.The antigenicity and immunoreactivity of rSpaO-OmpA were determined using immunodiffusion test,Western Blot assay and micro-Widal's test.By a mouse infection model,the immunoprotection of rSpaO-OmpA against the lethal challenge of S.paratyphi A was determined.In the animal protective test,the recombinant expressed SpaO (rSpaO) and OmpA ( rOmpA ) were used as the controls.Results The generated spaO-ompA fusion gene had 100% nucleotide and amino acid sequence identities compared to the single spaO or ompA gene.The constructed prokaryotic expression system IPTG E.coli BL21DE3pET42a-spaO-ompA expressed the recombinant protein rSpaO-OmpA.rSpaO-OmpA combined with the antiserum against wholecell of S.paratyphi A to present positive hybridization signal and induced specific antibody in the immunized rabbits.Immunization with 100 or 200 μg rSpaO-OmpA contributed 66.7% (8/12) or 83.3% (10/12) immunoprotective rates in mice when the animals were attacked with S.paratyphi A.The immunoprotective rates produced by rSpaO-OmpA were significantly higher than that of equal rSpaO or rOmpA( P<0.05 ).The sera from rSpaO-OmpA immunized mice presented 1∶5-1∶40 agglutination titers to the H antigens of different S.paratyphi species,and 1∶1-1∶16 immunodiffusion titers to rSpaO,rOmpA and rSpaO-OmpA proteins,respectively.Conclusion The artificially fusion antigen,rSpaO-OmpA,has more powerful immunogenicity and immunoprotection that the equal rSpaO or rOmpA.
6.Clinical study on tension-free vaginal tape and tension-free vaginal tape obturator for surgical treatment of severe stress urinary incontinence

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy and improvement of patients' quality of life in tension-free vaginal tape(TVT)and tension-free vaginal tape obturator(TVT-O)for surgical treatment of severe female stress urinary incontinence.Methods This study was a randomized,singleblinded,controlled trial.Patients were randomized by a computer-generated randomization schedule with allocation to either TVT or TVT-O procedure.TVT procedure was performed in 35 cases and TVT-O in 34 cases.None had received surgery for urinary incontinence or was in pregnancy.Transvaginal hysterectomy and prolapse reparation were done simultaneously in some of the patients.All patients were requested to complete the Urinary Distress Inventory(UDI-6)and Incontinence Impact Questionnaire(ⅡQ-7)as part of their pre-and postoperative assessment.Results All patients were evaluable and the mean follow-up was 14.5 months.The mean operative time was(18±5)min in the TVT-O group,Significantly shorter than in the TVT group(27±5)min(P<0.01).The two groups did not differ significantly in perioperative blood loss,postoperative complications(including tape erosion,pain in thigh or behind pubis),postvoid residual volume,hospital stays or expenses(all P> 0.05).Sixty patients were successfully treated for stress urinary incontinence(88.6%and 85.3%for TVT and TVT-O groups,respectively).There were significant improvements in postoperative scores for both the ⅡQ-7 and the UDI-6(P<0.01),except in subscale measuring symptoms of voiding dysfunction(P>0.05).Conclusions Both techniques appear to be equally effective in the surgical treatment of severe stress urinary incontinence in a short term review.Significant improvements could also be seen in patients' quality of life.However.TVT-O has a shorter operative time.No evidence of increasing risk of urethral obstruction after the operation could be found.Long term followups axe necessary to evaluate outcomes of different types of surgery for stress urinary incontinence.
7.S100A7:Biological properties and implications in diseases

S100 A7 is a small calcium-binding protein that has an important role to play in the differentiation of human kerati -nocytes.It also helps build the chemical defense system of the skin and responds to oxidative stress and inflammation .The expression of S100 A7 can be induced by physical , chemical and biological stimulations .S100 A7 has many ligands and is related to the reactive oxygen species (ROS) via specific signaling pathways.As an important antimicrobial peptide, S100A7 helps the skin fight against main pathogens .S100 A7 is also a key indicator for the state of inflammation and cell differentiation;and its up-regulation has been cor-roborated in various skin diseases .In the brain of patients with Alzheimer′s disease, the up-regulation of S100A7 in primary cortico-hippocampal neurons can inhibit the generation of β-amyloid peptides .Moreover , S100 A7 is also up-regulated in different types of cancer and closely related to tumor malignancy and progression .In this review, we introduce biological properties of S 100A7 and high-light its expression characteristic in related diseases .This should have implication for the discovery of potential biomarkers and targets for the treatment of S100A7-related diseases.

To clarify the meaning, role and significance of the new idea of the modern basic theory of traditional chinese medicine, We clarified its origin and evolution starting from the basic concept of idea in this paper, re-vealed the basic connotation and relationship of ideas, scientific ideas, Chinese medicine ideas, and the new ideas of the modern basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine, and tried to give proper definitions; summarized three roles of scientific ideas. According to this basis, we demonstrated the new idea is the scientific ideas with core spirit run-ning through rational questioning, scientific testing, research and conclusion being accepted three-point line cen-tral interlocking; and have three roles changing the theory of traditional chinese medicine, guiding the innovative research on chinese medicine and elevating the scholars' thoughts. We proposed yin and yang to refer to the hypothesis of body's physiology and pathology and prevention and treatment effects, given an empirical analysis a feasible way of medicine and philosophy separation and yin and yang turning to medicine; displayed the guidance of new idea and to show the scientific connotation and scientific value of the theory of traditional Chinese medicine.
9.Analysis of Chinese oncology papers included by SCI in 2012

Objective To analyze Chinese oncology papers of 2012 included by Science Citation Index (SCI) and to facilitate domestic oncology researchers to better master the foreign periodical information and publish research results.Methods Chinese oncology papers included by SCI in 2011 and 2012 were retrieved,by using SCI-Expanded database.The periodical distribution,subject distribution,organization distribution,fund and citations were analyzed.Results In 2011,6570 papers were included by SCI,while 9226 were included in 2012,with the increase rate of 40.426%.The major language was English,and the most frequent literature type was article.The amount of source journals increased from 668 in 2011 to 749 in 2012.PLoS One published the most amount of literature both in 2011 and in 2012.The periodical with the highest impact factor (IF) in 2011 was Nature Genetics (IF =35.209),while in 2012 was Nature (IF =38.597).The university with the most amount of published literature was Sun Yat-sen University (653,7.078%),and the corresponding medical institution was PLA General Hospital (113,0.932%) and the corresponding research institute was Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (316,3.425%).The most funded project was National Natural Science Foundation with the rate of 46.339% (1949/4206) in 2011 and 40.000% (3290/8225) in 2012.The total citation frequency was 36 569 in 2011 and 18 945 in 2012.Conclusion Over the past two years,Chinese oncology papers included by SCI make great progress,in terms of quantity and quality.English is the main written language,and there are more source journals but less journals with high IF.
10.Effect of MG132 on the expression of ERK1/2 and connective tissue growth factor in rat peritoneal mesothelial cells induced by high glucose

Objective To observe the effect of MG132 on the expression of extracellular regulated kinase 1/2 (ERK1/2) and connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) in rat peritoneal mesothelial cells (RPMCs) induced by high glucose.Methods RPMCs were isolated,cultured and passaged by trypsin,then identified.The second generation of cultured RPMCs were used in the experiment.RPMCs were divided into normal control group,high glucose (1.5%,2.5%,4.25%) for 24 hours,high glucose (2.5%) for 0,12,24,48 hours,incubated with MG132 (0.5,1,2 μmol/L) for half an hour and then with high glucose (2.5%) for 24 hours.ERK1/2 protein was detected by Western blotting,and CTGF protein in supernatant was detected by ELISA.Results Compared with the control group,the expression of p-ERK1/2 was significantly increased in the groups stimulated by high glucose (P <0.01),reached the peak at 24th hour (P < 0.01),and then the expression decreased at 48th hour,but still was higher than that in the normal control group (P < 0.01).CTGF protein expression of RPMCs induced by high glucose increased,in time-and dose-dependent manner (P < 0.05).MG132 could significantly decrease the expression of ERK1/2 and CTGF induced by high glucose (P<0.05).Conclusions MG132 can decrease the expression of p-ERK1/2 and CTGF in RPMCs induced by high glucose.The ubiquitin proteasome pathway participates in the development of peritoneal fibrosis,and blocking the way may contribute to the prevention of peritoneal fibrosis.
