1.The effect of warm needling pretreatment for endometrial receptivity of frozen embryo transfer.

OBJECTIVETo explore the effect of warming needling pretreatment for endometrial receptivity before frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET).
METHODSFifty-six repeatedly embryo transfer (ET) failure patients with ultrasound showing follicular phase endometrium of C type, hysteroscopy examination presenting endometritis were randomly assigned into an observation group (25 cases) and a control group (31 cases). The patients in the observation group three months before ET were treated with antibiotics in the menstrual period, warming needle (once a day) at Zhongwan (CV 12), Tianshu (ST 25), Guanyuan (CV 4), Zhongji (CV 3), Zigong (EX-CA 1), Liangu (ST 34), Zusanli (ST 36), Shangjuxu (ST 37), Xiajuxu (ST 39) after menstruation until the ovulation stopped, and oral administration of progesterone was applied after ovulation. The patients in the control group three months before ET were treated with antibiotics in the menstrual period, and oral administration of progesterone was applied after ovulation. Continuous three menstrual periods were carried out for the both groups. The changes of endometrial thickness, type and endometrial blood flow and the outcome of FET were observed.
RESULTSEndometrial morphology and blood flow were improved after treatment in the two groups (all<0.01), with better results in the observation group (both<0.01). The embryo transplantation rate and pregnancy rate in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (both<0.01), and the early abortion rate decreased (<0.01).
CONCLUSIONSWarm needling may improve endometrial receptivity, embryo transplantation rate and pregnancy rate and decrease early abortion rate by regulating endometrial morphology and blood flow.
2.Enterovirus D68 and A71 infections and their related central nervous system disease

The genus Enterovirus (EV) of the family Picornaviridae containing more than 100 serotypes. These viruses cause a variety of diseases, among which viral encephalitis (VE), aseptic meningitis (AM) and acute flaccid paralysis (AFP) much threaten human health. Infections with these viruses will cause severe neurological complications and death. EV is a frequent cause of infection in children, especially in neonates and young infants. EV infections form a seasonal pattern and the incidence is the highest in the summer and autumn. In this review, we discuss our current understanding of EV structure, host-receptor interactions, epidemiological characteristics, related central nervous system diseases and laboratory diagnostics. Moreover, we briefly explain the mechanism of viral genome replication and assembly for most relevant pathogens and describe diseases prevention and control method. We reflect on how these recent discoveries may help the development of strategies to decrease viral spread.
3.Research progress in application of purified Vero cell rabies vaccine

The purified Vero cell rabies vaccine (PVRV) has been used in rabies prevention for more than 40 years. A comprehensive review of the relevant researches on PVRV in rabies prevention at local and overseas in recent years shows that in the simplified Zagreb immunization program, PVRV has the similar immunogenicity and safety as in the standard Essen program. PVRV, purified chicken embryo cell rabies vaccine (PCECV) and human diploid cell rabies vaccine (HDCV) have similar immunogenicity and safety. PVRV also has good immunogenicity and safety in special populations such as those with diseases. The combined vaccination of PVRV and acellular diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis and inactivated poliomyelitis combined vaccine (DTP-IPV) or others did not find immune interference, which provided feasibility for children to vaccinate against rabies at the same time of vaccinating with planned vaccines. The combination of PVRV and equine rabies immunoglobulin can also achieve better prevention effect. PVRV plays an important role in the prevention of rabies, and its wide application will make a positive contribution to achieving the goal of eliminating rabies transmitted from dogs to humans by 2030 proposed by World Health Organization (WHO).

Patients with severe trauma require an extremely timely treatment and transfusion plays an irreplaceable role in the emergency treatment of such patients. An increasing number of evidence-based medicinal evidences and clinical practices suggest that patients with severe traumatic bleeding benefit from early transfusion of low-titer group O whole blood or hemostatic resuscitation with red blood cells, plasma and platelet of a balanced ratio. However, the current domestic mode of blood supply cannot fully meet the requirements of timely and effective blood transfusion for emergency treatment of patients with severe trauma in clinical practice. In order to solve the key problems in blood supply and blood transfusion strategies for emergency treatment of severe trauma, Branch of Clinical Transfusion Medicine of Chinese Medical Association, Group for Trauma Emergency Care and Multiple Injuries of Trauma Branch of Chinese Medical Association, Young Scholar Group of Disaster Medicine Branch of Chinese Medical Association organized domestic experts of blood transfusion medicine and trauma treatment to jointly formulate Chinese expert consensus on blood support mode and blood transfusion strategies for emergency treatment of severe trauma patients ( version 2024). Based on the evidence-based medical evidence and Delphi method of expert consultation and voting, 10 recommendations were put forward from two aspects of blood support mode and transfusion strategies, aiming to provide a reference for transfusion resuscitation in the emergency treatment of severe trauma and further improve the success rate of treatment of patients with severe trauma.
