OBJECTIVE:To study the effect of oil phase, emulsifier and drugs on reverse microemulsion.METHODS:Pseudo-ternary phase diagram was adopted to study the effect of Span-80/Tween-80(emulsifier),thymopentin(model drug), long-chain glyceride,medium-chain glyceride,non-glyceride(oil phase).on the preparation of reverse microemulsions.Optimal formula of reverse microemulsions was selected.RESULTS:The largest water-in-oil(W/O)area was obtained in reverse microemulsion which was prepared using medium-chain glyceride as oil phase.Final formula was confirmed and contained distilled water/ Span-80/Tween-80/caprylic/capric triglyceride(2∶3∶6∶9).In addition, thymopentin was incorporated into the aqueous phase.CONCLUSIONS:The preparation of reverse microemulsions will be influenced by emulsifier, constitution of oil phase and drug. The influence factors for the actual preparation of reverse microemulsions should be optimized.

Objective To detect the damage incidence rate of liver and myocardium in infantile rotavirus (RV) enteritis. And to provide the basis for prevention and cure of liver and myocardium damage in infantile RV enteritis. Methods The liver function and myocardial enzyme detection results of 395 patients with infantile RV enteritis were collected .These results were compared with those of 40 healthy kids from health examinations . Results The levels of alanine aminotransferase ( ALT ) , aspartate amino transferase ( AST ) , serum creatine kinase (CK) and serum creatine kinase isozyme(CK-MB) from infantile patients were (34.49 ±29.13)U/L,(52.44 ± 24.10)U/L,(141.75 ±132.22)U/L and (48.69 ±32.53)U/L,respectively,which were higher than those of the healthy control [(16.00 ±3.24)U/L,(29.90 ±3.76)U/L,(101.82 ±64.56)U/L and (22.32 ±8.98)U/L,t=4.008,5.901,3.982,5.64,all P<0.05].The abnormal occurrence rates of ALT ,AST,CK and CK-MB in infantile patients were 19.49%,73.16%,12.15%,73.16%,respectively,which were higher than those in healthy controls (2.50%,20.00%,0.00%,0.00%),the differences were statistically significant (χ2 =7.128,47.397,5.464, 300.239,all P<0.05).The incidence rates of liver and myocardium damage were 19.49%and 73.16%,respectively. Conclusion There are higher incidence rates of liver and myocardium damage in infantile RV enteritis .So for the infantile RV enteritis patients ,it is necessary to detect the liver function and myocardial enzyme level .The treatment for infantile RV enteritis should be included liver and myocardial protection except antivirus and correcting dehydration .

Objective To systematically evaluate the self-management behavior transformation experience of cancer patients, providing a basis for the subsequent development of targeted self-management intervention measures. Methods Qualitative studies related to self-management behavior transformation experience of cancer patients from Cochrane Library,CINAHL,Embase,PubMed,Web of science,PsycINFO,and China National Knowledge Infras-tructure,VIP Database,Wanfang Database, and China Biomedical Literature Database were searched by computer, with a search deadline of July 2023.The literature quality evaluation was conducted using the qualitative research quality evaluation standards of the Evidence Based Health Care Center at the Joanna Briggs Institute in Australia, and the results were integrated using a pooled integration method. Results A total of 12 articles were included, and 50 research results were extracted and summarized into 14 new categories.4 integrated results were synthesized, including the forms of self-management behavior transformation, the characteristics of self-management behavior transformation, the driving factors of self-management behavior transformation, and the obstacles to self-management behavior transformation. Conclusion Medical staff should pay attention to the real experience of cancer patients'self-management behavior transformation.Targeted ability cultivation and psychological intervention can be carried out based on the characteristics and influencing factors of cancer patients'self-management behavior transformation, promoting their smooth transformation of self-management behavior.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the difference in the clinical therapeutic effects on anal fissure at Ⅰ and Ⅱ stages between the acupoint catgut embedding therapy and western medication.
METHODSSixty patients of anal fissure at Ⅰ and Ⅱ stages were randomized into an embedding therapy group and a western medication group, 30 cases in each one. In the embedding therapy group, the acupoint catgut embedding therapy was applied at bilateral Tianshu (ST 25), Changqiang (GV 1), bilateral Chengshan (BL 57) and Tigangxue (Extra), once a week. In the western medication group, the external inunctum on the wound was given with 0.2% nitroglycerin ointment, once every morning and evening a day. The treatment lasted for 4 weeks continuously in the two groups. The follow-up visit was done for 3 months after treatment. The visual analogue scale (VAS) and anal pain duration were observed and recorded before treatment and on the 3rd day and the 7th day of treatment separately. The clinical therapeutic effects were compared between the two groups.
RESULTSAfter treatment, on the 3rd day and the 7th day of treatment, VAS score and anal pain duration were all reduced significantly as compared with those before treatment in the patients of the two groups (all<0.01). The differences in the embedding therapy gruop were better than those in the western medication group before and after treatment (<0.01,<0.05). In the 2nd and 4th weeks after treatment, the clinical therapeutic effects in the embedding therapy group were better than those in the western medication group (both<0.05). In 3-month follow-up, the recurrent case in the embedding therapy group was one, and the recurrent case in the western medication group was six.
CONCLUSIONSThe acupoint catgut embedding therapy is safe and effective in the treatment of anal fissure at Ⅰ and Ⅱ stages and its recurrent case is lower as compared with the treatment of western medication.

BACKGROUND:Three-dimensional(3D)printing is an emerging technology in the field of dentistry. It utilizes a layer-by-layer manufacturing technique to create scaffolds suitable for periodontal tissue engineering applications.Tissue scaffolds produced through 3D printing can possess controlled characteristics, including internal structure, porosity, and interconnectivity, making it an ideal strategy for periodontal tissue engineering. OBJECTIVE:To review the applications of 3D printed scaffolds in periodontal regeneration. METHODS:English search terms were"3D printing, periodontal tissue engineering, additive manufacturing, regenerative medicine, bioengineering, scaffold, bioprinting, periodontitis".Chinese search terms were"3D printing, additive manufacturing, periodontal tissue engineering,scaffolds,bio-inks,bioprinting,tissue engineering".Relevant literature published from 2000 to 2023 in PubMed and CNKI databases was retrieved and included in the review. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Over the past few decades,3D printing technology has made significant progress and breakthroughs in tissue engineering and biomedical fields.3D printing technology can provide highly personalized treatment programs, improve the suitability and therapeutic effect of therapeutic stents, and has broad application prospects in periodontal tissue engineering. In periodontal tissue engineering,3D printing applications can better mimic the complex structures of biological tissues and manufacture biocompatible scaffold materials with suitable mechanical and rheological properties. The layer-by-layer construction of tissue engineering scaffolds through 3D printing not only enables the creation of precise and intricate scaffold models for personalized treatment of periodontal disease but also facilitates the incorporation of complex microstructures and channels within the scaffolds to promote cell growth and tissue regeneration.
