1.Influence of Processing Methods on Baicalin Content in Radix Scutellariae and Its Preparations

Objective: To review the influence of various processing methods on the content of baicalin in radix Scutellariae and its preparations. Method: The content of baicalin was determined by HPLC. Results: The content of baicalin decreased evidently when the brocessing method was in appropriate. Conclusion: Improper processing method can decrease the content of baicalin, and frying and carbonizing destroyed baicalin seriously.
2.Determination of three compounds in Qingre Mingmu Tea by RP-HPLC

AIM:To develop a RP-HPLC method for simultaneously determining three major compounds in Qingre Mingmu Tea(Semen Cassiae,Flos crysanthemi,etc),namely emodin,chrysophanol and physcion with UV detection wavelength at 254 nm. METHODS: The column was Diamonsil C_(18)(250 mm?4.6 mm i.d,5 ?m).The separation was carried out with a gradient program.The mobile phase was acetonitrile-0.1% phosphoric acid at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min. RESULTS: The standard curve was rectilinear in the range of 5.335213.4 ng(r=(0.999 8)) for emodin,9.075-363.0 ng(r=0.999 8) for chrysophanol,and 4.688-187.5 ng(r=1.000 0) for physcion,respectively.The recoveries of the markers listed above were 96.0%,106.5% and 98.1%,respectively. CONCLUSION: The method is simple,rapid and suitable for the determination of three compounds in Qingre(Mingmu) Tea.

4.Clinical characteristics and nutritional therapy of pediatric inflammatory bowel disease

Recently, the incidence of pediatric inflammatory bowel disease( IBD) is increasing. The diagnosis and treatment of IBD were focused by pediatric clinicians. The clinical features and treatment of pediatric IBD are dif-ferent,because of the growth and development. Growth deficiency and delayed puberty are unique symptoms. Children with IBD were treated with exclusive enteral nutrition as the first line treatment. The better treatment was formulated in accordance with the clinical features and nutritional therapy of pediatric IBD.
5.DETERMINATION OF EMODIN CONTENT IN QINGNINGWAN BY HPLC

An accurate method for measuring Emodin content in a Chinese patent drug Qingningwan was developed by HPLC with external standard of Emodin. Calibration curve was linear in the range of 14.8-148?g /ml and mean recovery rate of Emodin was 98.93%. Coefficient of variation was 1.20%(n=5). These indicate that HPLC is an advanced, accurate and feasible method in quality control of Qingningwan.
6.Fecal microbiota transplantation therapy on Clostridium difficile infection in children

With the overuse of antibiotics,Clostridium difficile infections are increasing,and the incidence of refractory or recurrent cases increase.Increasing resistance to the traditional treatment(metronidazole and/or vancomycin),relapsing Clostridium difficile infection needs to seek new treatments.Fecal microbiota transplantation has been widely used in the treatment of adult Clostridium difficile infection,but is seldom used in children.In this paper,fecal microbiota transplantation for the treatment of Clostridium difficile infection in children related issues were reviewed.
7.Relationship between novelty seeking phenotype and impulsive behavior in rats

ObjectiveTo investigate the relationship between novelty seeking and impulsivity behavior in rats.MethodsTwo models were used to test Novelty seeking,one was activity in a new environment model,the other was novel object preference model.And impulsivity was measured by T-maze.All rats(48) were used to examine the relationship between these two behaviour traits.ResultsNovelty seeking:the locomotor activities measured in a new environment for 30 min were (4695.58 ± 1579.87)cm,the exploring number of entries into the novel object area and time spending in the novel object area were respectively(20.92 ± 14.84)entries and (178.12± 135.22)s.Impulsivity:the average times of choosing low reward(LR) in the two test days were(4.71 ±2.71 ).Pearson product moment correlation was performed to investigate the relationship between these two behaviour traits,and the results suggested that there were notable correlation between novel object preference and impulsive decision making( r =0.295,P< 0.05 ),yet no significance were found between new environment activity and impulsive decision making.ConclusionNovelty seeking and impulsivity may be correlated with each other depending on different models.
8.Study on Improving the Quality Standards of Kanggu Zengsheng Tablet

OBJECTIVE:To develop and improve the quality standard for Kanggu zengsheng tablet. METHODS:TLC was used for the qualitative identification of Drynaria fortunei,Epimedii Folium and Spatholobus suberectus;HPLC was used for the contents determination of icariin and acteoside:the column was Diamonsil C18 with mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.1% formic acid solution (gradient elution) at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min;detection wavelength was 270 nm for icariin and 334 nm for acteoside, Cdumn temperature was 25 ℃,and the injection volume was 10 μL. RESULTS:The TLC spots of D. fortunei,Epimedii Folium and S. suberectus were clear and well separated,negative control without interference. The linear range was 0.0188-1.88 μg for ac-teoside(r=0.9999)and 0.107-2.14 μg for icariin(r=0.9999);RSDs of precision,stability and reproducibility tests were lower than 2.0%;recoveries were 100.2%-105.0%(RSD=1.6%,n=9) and 96.2%-99.5%(RSD=1.4%,n=9). CONCLUSIONS:The improved standard can more effectively control the quality of Kanggu zengsheng tablet.
9.Effect of low-dose cyclosporine combined with danazol on chronic aplastic anemia

Objective To study the effect of low-dose cyclosporine combined with danazol on chronic aplastic anemia,and to analyze the influence on peripheral hemogram.MethodsRetrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 68 patients with chronic aplastic anemia treated from July 2014 to June 2016 in the second hospital of shandong university,according to their treatment methods were divided into control group and observation group,the control group was given conventional dose of cyclosporine combined with danazol,the observation group received low-dose of cyclosporine combined with danazol,four weeks for a course of treatment.After two courses of treatment,observe the curative effect of two groups,the difference of bone marrow,peripheral blood,immunoglobulin levels before and after treatment were compared in the two groups.Results The effective rate of the observation group was 96.97%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group 77.14%(F=6.563,P=0.028).After treatment,the bone marrow of the observation group was significantly improved compared with the control group(P<0.05); the levels of T-bet,GATA-3 and STAT4 of the observation group were lower than those of control group(P<0.05),the levels of WBC,Hb,PLT and RET were higher in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05); there was no significant difference in serum immunoglobulin level between the two groups after treatment,there was no significant difference in the incidence of liver and renal function,gastrointestinal reaction,hairy and acne between the two groups.Conclusion Low-dose cyclosporine combined with danazol has better therapeutic effect in the treatment of chronic aplastic anemia,can significantly improve the hemogram and myelogram of patients,has good clinical value high security.
