Objective To explore the effect of cognitive therapy for gastrointestinal carcinoma postoperative pstients to relieve nausea and vomiting. Methods 80 patients with gastrointestinal carcinoma were randomly divided into intervention group(n=40)and control group(n=40).The degree of nausea and vomiting and symptom were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of nausea and vomiting in the intervention group was lower than that in the control group. So did the degree of nausea and vomiting. The difference was significant(P<0.05).In SCL-90,the scores of the somatization,obsessive-compulsiwe,depression and anxiety phobicanxiety, parsnoid, psychofism were significantly different with that of the Chinese normal(P<0.05).The scores in the intervention group were lower than that of the control group after cognitive therapy(P<0.05).Conclusion Cognitive therapy can help to alleviate psychological health score, nausea and vomiting from gastrointestinal carcinoma postoperative,so as to improve the quality of life for patients with gastrointestinal carcinoma.

Objective To introduce the classification of the perforators of the superficial circumflex iliac artery(SCIA),and the superficial circumflex iliac artery perforator (SCIP) flaps based on different perforators have different characters and harvesting methods. To explore a set of coping strategy for the drawbacks of the SCIP flap. Methods Review 90 cases of SCIP flaps in August,2011 to June,2017.The pre-operative radiology navigation was conducted in all cases.Different surgical approaches were applied in flaps based on different perforators. The pedicle elongation method was adopted when necessary. The thickness of the flap, the length of the pedicle, the survival rate of the flap and the closure of the donor site were analyzed.Regular follow-up was performed after the operation. Results All flaps were followed-up for 6-15 months (average 8 months).Fifty-seven flaps were raised on the basis of the proximal perforators of the superficial branch of the SCIA,whereas 29 cases were based on the distal perforators from the deep branch, and in 4 cases, the pedicle was switched to the superficial inferior epigastric artery. In 8 cases, the arterial pedicle lengthen technique was applied with a maximum length of 10 cm.All donor sites were closed directly. Conclusion These surgical strategies simplified the intraoperative decision-making and conquered the shortcomings of the SCIP flap.It is believed that the SCIP flap can possibly become the new workhorse flap in the field of reconstructive surgery.

Osteoporosis is characterized by decreased bone strength and increased fracture risk. The most serious consequence of osteoporosis is fracture, which commonly occurs in vertebrae. Accurate assessment of fracture risk at an earlier stage is the key to identify high-risk population and further prevent osteoporotic fracture. Currently, clinical assessment of vertebral fracture risk mainly relies on measurement of bone mineral density (BMD) based on dual energy X-ray absorptiometry ( DXA) or quantitative computed tomography ( QCT). However, they cannot fully reflect bone strength and resistance to fracture, and it is hard to achieve an accurate assessment. Biomechanical CT (BCT) technology, based on CT digital modeling and finite element analysis, aims at non-invasive calculation of individual bone strength, bridging the gap between biomechanics and clinical evaluation of fracture risk. In vitro mechanical experiment of vertebrae has proved that BCT is more accurate than BMD in evaluating vertebral fracture strength. Clinical studies have also shown that BCT is superior to DXA inidentifying existing fractures and predicting new fractures. In this article, the implementation process of the BCT technology was introduced, as well as critical parameters during each step affecting its result . The research progress of the BCT technique for in vitro validation and in vivo assessment of vertebral fracture risk was also summarized, with the aim to promote the application of BCT technology in clinical assessment of vertebral fracture risk for the Chinese people.
