OBJICTIVE:To study of influence of contract and its implementation factors on quality safety of Chinese herbal medicines.METHODS:The data about the plantation of Fructus Lycic was investigated through a questionnaire survey.RESULTS & CONCLUSION:The contract can help guarantee the quality safety of Chinese herbal medicines in its production.

OBJECTIVE: To establish the fuzzy model for rating of severity of adverse drug reactions(ADR) and to verify it with examples.METHODS: The principles of vague mathematics were employed for a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.RESULTS & CONCLUSION: Employing fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to rate ADR based on its clinical manifestations is helpful for the concerned party in tightening monitoring on drugs with severe ADR meanwhile it provides references for clinicians about rational choice of drugs.

Liver metastasis is the leading cause of death from colorectal cancer (CRC).Multidisciplinary team model has become standard strategy for the diagnosis and treatment of colorectal liver metastases (CRLM),making individualized treatment through precise staging and molecular typing.Preoperative hepatic and regional arterial infusion chemotherapy and portal vein chemotherapy during surgery can reduce the incidence of liver metastases for stage Ⅲ CRC.Surgical resection of CRLM has been accepted by all scholars,and can be performed by minimally invasive surgery.The criteria for hepatic resection of CRLM have been extended including complete tumor resection,negative resection margin and adequate remnant liver volume.Simultaneous resections of primary tumor and liver metastases are safe and feasible.However,neoadjuvant chemotherapy is still controversial.For unresectable liver metastases,conversion therapy should be implemented to make the liver metastases become resectable.For unconvertible and unresectable CRLM,aggressive and comprehensive treatment is required to control the disease progression.

Gastric cancer is one of the most common malignant gastrointestinal tumors with a high mortality in China. However, the pathogenesis of gastric cancer is not clear. Recently, with the development of cancer stem cell research, more and more studies have been focused on the gastric cancer stem cell. In this review, we will discuss the conception and the study status of the gastric cancer stem cells in addition to the treatment for the cancer stem cell.

Objective To study the correlation between male primary varicose vein of the lower extremity and varicocele.Methods 100 male patients with varicose vein of the lower extremity were compared with 100 male adults without varicose vein of the lower extremity for the prevalence of varicocele by using ultrasonography.Results There is no difference of demographic data between the two groups (t =1.78,P ＞ 0.05).There were 49 (49.0％) patients found with varicoele in study group compared with 19 (19.0％) patients with varicoele in control group (x2 =20.05,P ＜ 0.01).We compared the rate of varicoele and the mean diameter of spermatic vein between the patients having reflux in the saphenofemoral junction or not,and found there was no statistical difference between themn (rate of varicose P ＞ 0.05,diameter P ＞ 0.05).In patients with both lower extremity varicose vein and varicocele there was a linear correlation between spermatic vein diameter and that of varicose vein (rs =0.407 2,P ＜ 0.01).When patients in study group were classified into six grades by Clinical-Etiology-Anatomy-Pathophysiology (CEAP) trend chi-square found no difference in the incidence of varicoele (x2 =0.879 8,P ＞ 0.05),nor the mean diameter of spermatic vein in different grades (F =1.59,P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion There is a correlation between varicose vein of the lower extremity and the pathogcnesis of varicocele.

OBJECTIVE:To analyze the research method of the cause of ADR induced by TCM injection and to summarize research achievement.METHODS:Recent published literatures on the cause of ADR induced by TCM injection were reviewed so as to analyze the current research on the cause of ADR induced by TCM injection.RESULTS&CONCLUSION:The research about causes of ADR induced by TCM injection made some progress while there are some limitations.It is suggested to integrate and explore the cause of ADR induced by TCM injection in literatures using mathematical statistics and data mining.
