OBJECTIVE: To establish an HPLC method for the determination of Baicalin in Tanreqing injection.METHODS: The determination was performed by HPLC using an CLC-ODS C18 column(150 mm?6.0 mm,5 ?m),with mobile phase consisted of methanol-water(47∶53) at a flow rate of 0.5 mL?min-1 and a detection wavelength of 280 nm.RESULTS: The calibration curve for Baicalin was linear in the concentration range of 2.53～12.65 ?g?mL-1(r=0.999 8).The average recovery was 99.61%(RSD=0.35%,n=9).CONCLUSION: The method is simple,rapid and applicable for the quality control of Tanreqing injection.

Objective To provide reference basis for protection and sustainable utility of S. baicalensis by a large scale of nationwide resources survey of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi in China. Methods On the basis of literature research, survey was conducted on geographical distribution, resources reserves, recovery and growth of the resources status etc. of S. baicalensis. Results The wild resources of S. baicalensis was wildly distributed in the emperate zone in north of China and the distribution was discontinuous. Large differences were showed between different populations in entironment, coenotype and plant morphology. The cultivated resources of S. baicalensis were mainly distributed in Shanxi, Hebei, Gansu, Shandong provinces and Inner Mongolia autonomous region. There were diverse cultivation models and differences existed in production and quality in different regions. Conclusion Destruction of the wild resources and unstable of the resource quality were two main problems of S. baicalensis resources. It was suggested that researches on quality formation and control should be carried out, and institutional guarantee was essential to protect and sustainable use the plant resources of S. baicalensis.

The study of subjcts with T2DM (n=120) and NGT (n=106) in using the screening of PGC-1? gene for SNPs by PCR-SSCP and DNA sequencing showed that four SNPs(Thr394Thr、Gly482Ser、Thr528Thr、Thr612Met) in the PGC-1? gene were found in 50 Han Chinese type 2 diabetic patients.A Gly482Ser polymorphism of PGC-1? gene was associated with type 2 diabetes.[

OBJECTIVE:To establish HPLC method for the determination the centent of tanshinone Ⅱ_A in danshen shuxin capsule.METHODS:The determination was performed on Shim-pack CLC-ODS column,the mobile phase consisted of methanol-water(15∶5),the detection wavelength of270nm,column temperature at40℃,a flow rate of1.5ml/min and.RE_ SULTS:The calibration curve of tanshinone Ⅱ_A is linear when its concentration range was with in 0.05125～0.25625?g/ml(r=0.9996,n=5),the average recovery was 99.05%(RSD=0.92%).CONCLUSION:This method is convenient in operation,precise,reliable in results,and it can be used as quality control for danshen shuxin capsule.

Objective To evaluate the efficiency of Flixotide in decreasing the incidence of asthma following bronchiolitis.Methods 23 children with brochiolitis received Flixotide daily while other 29 subjects not intervented as control.The intervention duration was 60 days,then followed up for more then 1 year.Results After following up over 1 year,only 3 cases in 29 patients with brochiolitis receiving Flixotide developed into asthma.However,24 cases in control group developed into asthma.The incidence of asthma was 13.04% and 82.76% in two group,respectively.Conclusion Flixotide may be an effective intervention to prevent the development of asthma after bronchiolitis.

Objective To investigate the application values of thymosin α1 in severe sepsis.Methods Selected 94 patients with severe sepsis in our hospital from September 2014 to October 2016,were randomly divided into observation group(n=45)and control group(n=49),the control group was given routine treatment,the observation group was given thymosin α1 on the basis of conventional treatment,observed two groups before and after treatment T cell subsets and CD14+monocyte human leukocyte antigen(HLA-DR)and so on.Results The observation group the duration of ventilator use and ICU treatment were(12.51±3.82)d and(15.81±3.18)d,significantly shorter than the control group(P< 0.05).There was no significant difference in 28d mortality between the observation group and the control group; After treatment,the CD14+monocytes HLA-DR,CD3+and CD4+T cells in the observation group were significantly improved than before treatment(P<0.05);The HLA-DR,CD3+and CD4+T cells in the observation group after treatment were(36.04± 8.90)％,(58.93±8.74)％and(43.20±9.90)％,significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05);The observation group after treatment TNF-α,endotoxin and CRP respectively(56.40±11.78)ng/L,(27.83±9.98)ng/L and(53.20±9.73)g/mL,significantly lower than the control group(P< 0.05).Conclusion Application of thymosin α1 in the treatment of severe sepsis,which can improve the cellular immune function,adjust the state of inflammatory response,shorten the duration of mechanical ventilation and ICU stay.

BACKGROUND: It is believed previously that hyperbaric oxygen(HBO)therapy can prevent stroke, but some scholars think HBO therapy on the contrary can induce stroke although its pathogen and prevention are unclear.OBJECTIVE: To study the reason of cerebral thrombosis induced by HBO and the preventive effects of the medicine.DESIGN: A retrospective study based on patients as subjects.SETTING: Department of HBO in a military area command hospital ofChinese PLA.PARTICIPANTS: Totally 192 hospitalized patients receiving HBO therapy in Guangzhou General Hospital of Guangzhou Military Area Command of Chinese PLA were selected, in which there were 127 males and 65 females aged between 9 and 78 years old. A total of 6 cases including 3 male and 3 female cases aged between 51 and 76 years old developed cerebral thrombosis during therapy.METHODS: The background factors of 192 patients who received HBO therapy and the included 6 cerebral thrombosis cases were analyzed. Totally preventive effects of the medicine on a cluster level of different risk factor. Three groups of patients received different interventions under the prerequisites of routine medications including blood-activating and stasis-eliminating, neurotrophy, and vasodilator patients of nitric ether group received oral administration of isosorbide dinitrate or glycerin trinitrate; patients of calcium antagonist group received oral administration of Sibelium or Novarsc; and patients of no specific medication group did not receive any preventive medicine.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Patients' symptoms, physical signs andhead CT or MRI.RESULTS: The risk factor of cerebral thrombosis induced by HBO was the basic disease of hyperlipidemia or hypertension, etc. A total of 115 cases had the cluster with less than 4 risk factors and none of them developed thrombosis. A total of 31 cases had the cluster with 4 or more than 4 risk factors and 6 of them developed thrombosis with greatly increased morbidity. Above the level of 4 risk factors, nitrate ether had effective preventive effect(0/13) while there was 33.3% of the patients(5/15) in calcium antagonist group developed thrombosis, and the difference between the above two groups was significant( P ＜ 0.05).CONCLUSION: The cluster level of risk factors has close relationship with the probability of thrombosis induced by HBO. Nitrate ether has significant preventive effects.

Objective To investigate the imbalance of T helper 17 (Th17) / CD4 + CD25 + regulatory cell (Treg) in HAM/TSP patients.Methods Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was performed to measure the levels of interleukin (IL-17) and IL-10 in CSF,and flow cytometry to determine the percentage of Th17 and Treg cells in peripheral blood of patients with HAM/TSP.Results There was a significant increase in the level of IL-17 [(4.58 ± 0.70)pg/ml vs (0.76 ± 0.17)pg/ml,P ＜ 0.01] in CSF and the percentage of Th17 cells [(2.00 ± 0.64) ％ vs (0.41 ± 0.24) ％,P ＜ 0.01],but a decrease in the level of IL-10 in CSF and the percentage of Treg cells in peripheral blood of patients with HAM/TSP compared with the control group.The ratio of Th17/Treg cell (0.55 ±0.10 vs 0.06 ±0.03) in the peripheral blood of patients with HAM/TSP increased significantly compared with control group (t =12.11,P ＜0.01).Conclusions The imbalance between Thl7 and Treg cells may play an important role in the pathogenesis of the disease.

Objective To investigate the coordinate repression of angiostatin(AS)and Fas gene on human colon carcinoma LOVO.Methods Plasmid pcDNA3-AS and pcDNA3-Fas were constructed,and AS,Fas,AS and Fas gene were transfected to human colon carcinoma LOVO cells by liposome method.The expressions of target protein were detected by Western blot.The effects of transfection of AS and Fas gene on the growth of human colon carcinoma cells were detected by MTr methods.AS,Fas,AS and Fas gene were transfected to the human colon carcinoma subcutaneously implanted in nude mice by direct injection into the tumor.The tumor sizes were detected after 14 days of the first gene transfection.Results The effect of gene transfeetion in LOVO cell after twelve hours,24 h,48 h and 72 h were observed and compared with control group,co-transfection of Fas and AS gene group and Fas group significantly inhibited the growth of human colon carcinoma LOVO line cells(P＜0.01).Fourteen days after plasmid transfection,the tumor volume in group Fas and group co-transfection were signifieandy smaller than that of control,AS and Fas group(P＜0.05).The tumor volume in AS group and Fas group were significantly smaller than that of control(P＜0.05).Conclusion Angiostatin and Fas gene have coordinate repression effect on human colon carcinoma in vivo.

Objective To investigate ultrasound guidended nerve block of femoral nerve in emergency operation.Methods 40 patients who planned to accept surgery of feet,lower limb under knee.They were randomly devided into 2 groups:ultrasound guidended group and the control group.Femoral nerve and Sciatic nerve were blocked by ultrasound guidended technique or classic landmark technique.1.5% lidocaine was administered for nerve block.Sensory block was observed every 5 minutes in 30 minutes.Onset time,effect of anesthesia,algesia time and complications were recorded.T-test and varience difference were applied.Results The onset time of local anesthetics was faster in the ultrasound guided group than that of the control group.Effect of analgesia was better in in the ultrasound guided group than that of the control group. Conclusion Nerve block of femoral nerve and the sciatic nerve guided by ultrasound was better than the classic technique.
