Objective To investigate the preventive effect of thin foam dressings(Allevyn Thin)combined with ice compress on facial plastic postoperative swelling and to summarize the nursing key points.Methods Sixty patients after facial plastic surgeries in our department were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 30 cases in each group.In the control group,ice packs wrapped with sterile gauze were placed on the patients’ wound dressings postoperatively and fixed properly for 30 to 40 minutes with an interval of 30 minutes,6 to 10 times a day for 72 hours postoperatively.In the observation group,thin foam dressing was stick to the wounds,followed by ice compress as in the control group.The facial swelling degrees of both groups were compared on day 3 and day 7 postoperatively.Result The swelling degree in the observation group was significantly smaller than that of the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion Thin foam dressings combined with ice compress can effectively improve the postoperative early swelling of patients receiving facial plastic surgery and therefore it is worthy of clinical popularization and application.

Objective The diabetic foot ulcer has high incidence rate,many complications,and is difficult to heal.Methods We summary the treatment expericncc of 156 cases of diabetic foot wounds.On the basis of comprehensive standard medical treatment,according to the wound characteristics,blood supply,and the degree of tissue necrosis,we performed staging gnawing-away debridement for all tbe wounds,combining with pressure suction,new dressing,skin grafts and skin flaps.Results Of all the 156 cases,2 cases died,4 cases were lost to follow-up,the remaining 150 cases healed,with an average time of 56 days.Conclusions The treatment of diabetic foot ulcer must take into account both the systemic therapy and local processing,the wound should be debrided with different stage and progressively.When the wound microenvironment is gradually improved,it can be covered appropriately with skin grafts.The skin flap should be chosen cautiously.

Objective To observe the expression of both type 1 (AT1) and type 2 (AT2) receptors of angiotensin Ⅱ (AngⅡ) in human hypertrophic scars, and to explore theirs role in collagen synthesis of fibroblasts in human hypertrophic scars. Methods The expression of both AT1 and AT2 receptors in fibroblasts of hypertrophic scars was detected with immunohistochemical staining and radioligand receptor binding assay. Collagen synthesis was examined in cultured in vitro fibroblasts of hypertrophic scars by measuring [~3H]proline incorporation into collagenous proteins. Results Positive staining signals of both AT1 and AT2 receptors were found in fibroblasts of hypertrophic scars. Similar results were also got in cultured in vitro fibroblasts of hypertrophic scars, expression level of AT1 and AT2 receptors were 10.69?2.15fmol/10~6cells and 4.9?1.05fmol/10~6cells respectively. Objective To explore the possible pathway and regulatory mechanism of dermal fibroblasts' transdifferentiation into myofibroblasts induced by estrogen. Methods Human dermal fibroblasts were divided into six groups (A: control; B: estrogen; C: estrogen + ICI-182780; D: estrogen + SB203580; E: estrogen + PD98059; F: estrogen + SP600125). The cells were collected for RNA extraction and the expression of α-SMA was detected by real time quantitative RT-PCR. Some cells were analyzed by single cell RT-PCR to detect positive expression percentage of α-SMA.Results The expression and positive rate of α-SMA in estrogen group were significantly increased (Group B vs. Group A, 7. 385±0. 246 vs 1. 367±0. 034, P＜0.01) and those in ICI-182780 group and SP600125 group were significantly inhibited (Groups C and F vs. Group B, 4. 619 ±0. 164,2. 409±0. 091 vs 7. 385±0. 246, P＜0. 05). Conclusions In the process of fibroblast transdifferentiation into myofibroblasts induced by estrogen, estrogen β receptor and JNK-MAPK signal transduction pathway may play an important role.

Objective To study the convenient, safe and effective surgical intervention methods for correcting prominent wide lower face. Methods According to the wideness of mandibular angles, single or combined surgical treatments were performed by an intraoral approach under nerve block and local infiltration anesthesia, such as grinding mandibular angles, curved osteotomy of the angles and osteotomy of ascending ramus outer layer, partial masseter muscle resection, partial buccal fat pad removal and liposuction of cheek to reconstruct the whole lower face contour. Resnlts In the 71 cases followed up for 4 to 24 months, 60 cases were excellent, 9 were acceptable and 2 were unsatisfactory. The total satisfactory rate was 97 %. Conclusion According to the characteristics of prominent wide lower face, single or combined surgical treatments are performed to reconstruct the bone and soft tissue of lower face. This operative method is simple, safe and consistent with cosmetic surgery principle with little complications.

Objective To explore the long-term efficacy of botulinum toxin type A injections on facial beauty and its long-term safety.Methods A total of 33 beauty-seekers with botulinum toxin type A treatment for more than five years were reviewed as observation group,using digital muscle palpation meter (Myoton PRO) for the determination of the orbicularis oculi muscle and masseter muscle tension (F),the muscle characteristic parameters,such as muscle hardness (S) using a homemade facial questionnaire test for satisfactory rate of beauty from both beauty-seekers and physicians.At sametime,33 normal adults that never accepted botulinum toxin injection with matched age and gender were collected as control group.The same-sex indicators were dtermined and compared with using statistic analysis t test.Results The pairwised parameters of the same sex and site were comparied between the two groups;average F and S values in the observation group were lower than those of the control group,but no statistically significant difference were observed between the two groups (P＞0.05);in the observation group,average appearance age was 7.3 years younger than the control group,and the facial shape improved significantly.Conclusions Long-term and repeated application of botulinum toxin A is able to remove crow's feet and decrease the masseter and so the injection is safe with high satisfaction to beauty-seekers.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of ultrapulse CO 2 laser-assisted au-tologous epidermal grafting for the treatment of vitiligo.Methods1605patients with30660skin grafts were treated by CO 2 laser-assisted autologous epidermal grafting.Among them,782patients had localized vi-tiligo,319segmental,226general and278scattered.Epidermal grafts were harvested with negative pressure blistering method from normally pigmented skin,and recipient areas were prepared with a ultrapulse CO 2 laser.The curative effect was evaluated8weeks later.Results79.04%of the lesions were cured complete-ly,and total response rate was92.21%,with better effect in localized and scattered lesions than in other le-sions.The best results were shown in face,while the worst results shown in brow and hairline lesions.Con-clusions The advantage of combined therapy of CO 2 laser with autologous epidermal grafting in vitiligo is of easy performance,convenience,high response rate,which is worthy of large scale application.

A database of Chinese drug prescriptions was developed by automatic abstraction of data from the papers on Chinese drug pre-scriptions using the regular expression form in order to provide a new visual angle for studying the information in Chinese drug prescriptions.

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture at cranial sutures (cranial acupuncture) plus rehabilitation training in treating cerebral infarction.MethodSixty patients with cerebral infarction were randomized into an acupuncture-rehabilitation group (cranial acupuncture plus rehabilitation training) and a rehabilitation group (dryrehabilitation training), 30 cases in each group, to respectively receive cranial acupuncture plus rehabilitation training and dry rehabilitation training. The Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA) and Barthel Index (BI) were adopted to respectively evaluate the motor function of limbs and activities of daily living (ADL); the content of hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) was also observed before and after treatment for the evaluation of therapeutic efficacy.ResultThe acupuncture-rehabilitation group wassuperior to the rehabilitation group in improving the motor function and ADL, and down-regulating the hs-CRP content (P<0.05).ConclusionCranial acupuncture plus rehabilitation training is the optimal protocol in treating cerebral infarction, and it canproduce a more significant efficacy than dry rehabilitation training.

Objective To evaluate the influence of orthokeratology lenses on vision,intraocular pressure and biometric measurement parameters in adolescent myopia.Methods A total of 72 adolescent myopia patients (136 eyes) with orthokeratology lens,aged 8-16 years old,in Hebei Provincial Eye Hospital from Junuary 2013 to December 2015 were randomly selected.The vision,intraocular pressure,axial length,corneal topography,corneal thickness and anterior chamber depth were observed before wearing glasses,at 1 week,1,3,6 months after wearing glasses.Results After orthokeratology wearing,the uncorrected visual acuity was obviously improved (P＜0.05),the average refraction diopter was declined (P＞0.05) and the non-contact intraocular pressure was decreased (P＜0.05).The axial length after orthokeratology wearing had little change (P＞0.05).The curvature of the patient's cornea at one week after wearing glasses was deceased (P＜0.05) and the posterior corneal curvature tended towards stability.The corneal thickness at 1 week after wearing glasses had no obvious change compared with before wearing glasses(P＞0.05),which at 1 month after wearing glasses was decreased(P＜0.05) and which at 3,6 months after wearing glasses trended to be stabilized.The anterior chamber depth after wearing glasses had no obvious change.Conclusion Orthkeratology lens can decrease the myopia degree,increases the uncorrected visual acuity and has obvious effect for controlling adolescent myopia.The intraocular pressure and biometric measurement parameters have corresponding change after wearing orthkeratology lens.
