1.Development of Manual Muscle Testing and Rating (review)
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2015;21(6):666-669
Manual Muscle Testing is a widely used muscle power testing method in rehabilitation practice. Although it's a key content in rehabilitation medicine and rehabilitation therapy, there are some disagreements in lots of books introducing the development and rating system of it. This article reviewed the development of Manual Muscle Testing and different rating systems.
2.The control technique and clinical application of the intelligentized respirator
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1993;0(05):-
This paper introduces the principle and control technique of the intelligentized respirator and the applications of the modes of SmartCare and AutoFlow. The possible malfunctions of the intelligentized respirator during mechanical ventilation and their countermeasures are analyzed. The influence of the malfunction alert grade on the patient during mechanical ventilation is also discussed. It's the trend to develop the intelligentized respirator. The staff has to be educated and trained to make full use of the intelligentized respirator.

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1993;0(06):-
Objective To investigate the status of biological membrane(biofilm) formation in the bronchi of old patients treated with mechanical air,and clarify its correlations and risk factors. Methods The retaining time in 25 bronchi from 22 cases of old patients and the results of bacterial culture were analyzed. Results Bacteria culture-positive samples are 22 cases isolated from 25 endotrached tube, accounting for 88%.Negative samples are 3 cases, accounting for 12%.Conclusion The density of bacteria is corresponding to the time of tubing in the bronchi. With the extension of tubing time, the quantity of bacteria is greatly increased.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2015;(12):1233-1237
Through the comparative study on the psychiatric specialist training system between China, Japan and Korea, we have found that the number of psychiatric specialist training base in Japan and Korea is more than that of our country. Japan has a higher requirement of the practice training experiences for trainees before training and emphasizes how well mastering general psychiatry and understanding of society as trainees. However, the training bases in South Korean have main hos-pitals and sub main hospitals as well and trainees are stipulated to participate in a certain number of academic conferences and publish academic papers as their characteristics, which can provide a refer-ence for our country's adding more additional psychiatric specialist training bases and reasonable arrangements for trainee rotation in the future.

Military Medical Sciences 2017;41(2):146-149
We are facing increasing stress and challenges because of the fierce competition and fast pace of daily work and life.In other words,we are exposed to more frequent and intense social stress.Continual and intense stress is known to be detrimental to human well-being.Stress has been regarded as a major contributing factor of human diseases.There-fore,it′s necessary to review the recent research progress in stress biomarkers that are of different types, such as cortisol,α-amylase,catecholamine,heat shock protein and cytokines. In this review,we will focus on the most well reported stress biomarkers, including cortisol and α-amylase.We hope that this review will enable researchers and practitioners to gain in-sights into stress biomarkers, which will lead to improved healthcare decisions regarding prevention, treatment and rehabili-tation of stress-related diseases.

Chinese Journal of Marine Drugs 1994;0(02):-
The anti-mutation effect of flesh of clam Merectix meretrix Linnaeus was studied . The increase in the rate of micronuclei of mice bone -marrow polychromatic erythrocytes induced by Cy (25 mg/kg X 2d, ip) or Ur (0. 5 g/kg X 4d , ip) was inhibited by decoctio of flesh of Meretrix merelrix Linnaeus (20g/kgX7d, ig).

Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma 2004;0(06):-
Objective To study the efficacy of treatment of proximal humeral fractures in elderly patients using cloverleaf plate combined with bone cement. Methods 13 aged patients with serious proximal humeral fractures were admitted from 2000.1 to 2001.6. Their X ray revealed displacement and crispation. After anterior reduction through the shoulder joint, the obvious osseous defects were filled with bone cement. Then the fractures were fixed with cloverleaf plates. Sling was applied for the patients postoperatively and the rehabilitation program started 3 weeks after operation. Results All the 13 cases were followed up. The follow up ranged from 5 to 10 months with an average of 8.3 months. The range of motion was satisfactory with a mean abduction over 90 degrees. X ray revealedthat no patient demonstrated osteonecrosis of the humeral head. Union was achieved in all the patients. According to Neers scale, the function of shouder was excellent in 10 cases, and good in 3 cases. Conclusion This methods is recommended for aged patients with osteoporosis, serious osseous defects and difficulty of using internal fixation alone, because it is convenient and reliable and can prevent replacement of joint prosthesis.

Journal of Endocrine Surgery 2009;3(1):42-45
Objective To analyze the CT and clinical features of acute pancreatitis(AP) patients with perirenal space(PRS) invasion. Methods CT images and renal function tests(serum urea, creatine) changes of 64 AP patients were retrospectively studied. PRS invasion by inflammation on CT scan and the relation between PRS invasion and renal function changes were analyzed. Results 81% patients had PRS invasion in which 52% were grade B, 25% were grade C. CT features of the PRS invasion varied from mild inflammatory changes to fluid collection or phlegmonous. The PRS invasion was detected in 35 of 52 patients with mild pancreatitis and all severe pancreatitis. Renal function abnormity was 47%, only 3% patients had abnormal renal function in patients without PRS invasion compared to 44% patients with PRS invasion. PRS invasion in patients with abnormal renal function attenuated on CT scan after the pancreatitis was controlled. Conclusions The CT clearly reveals the features of PRS in acute pancreatitis patients. The attenuation of PRS invasion in acute pancreatitis patients on CT parallels renal function recover.
