Objective To evaluate the interference of 13 kinds of β‐lactam antibiotics in fructosamine detection .Methods A se‐ries of solution of antimicrobial drugs were formulated with water for injection ,and added into the mixture fresh serum volume by 5% .Interfere with antimicrobial drugs on the test results of fructosamine were evaluated .Results When the blood concentrations of cefathiamidine and ticarcillin sodium/clavulanate potassium were up to 37 .5 mg/L and 247 .5 μg/mL respectively ,they began to produce positive interference on fructosamine detection .However ,the degree of interference was not correlated to the serum concen‐tration of fructosamine .Conclusion Cephathiamidine and ticarcillin sodium/clavulanate potassium have positive interference on fructosamine detection .

Objective To explore the regulative or mediating effect of perceived social support on the relationship between alexithymia and negative psychology of nurses.Methods A total of 503 nurses were surveyed by Toronto Alexithymia Scale-20 ( TAS-20),Perceived Social Support Scale ( PSSS ) and Genera Health Questionnaire-20 (GHQ-20).Results The scores of alexithymia,perceived social support and negative psychology of nurses were(54.82 ± 8.43 ),( 61.9 ± 9.78 ) and ( 3.70 ± 2.61 ),respectively.Alexithymia was significant positive correlated with negative psychology ( r =0.49,P ＜ 0.01 ),perceived social support was significant negative correlated with negative psychology ( r =-0.32,P＜ 0.01 ),alexithymia was significant negative correlated with perceived social support( r=-0.36,P＜0.01 ).In the test of Perceived social support's regulative effect between alexithymia and negative psychology,R12 was 0.259 and R22 was 0.257,R22 did not significantly improve,and in the second layer,t=-0.538,P＞ 0.05.The model fit indexes of perceived social support's partial mediating effect on the relationship between alexithymia and negative psychology were x2/df =1.645,RMSEA =0.036,CFI =0.995,IFI =0.995,RFI =0.960,TLI =0.984,NFI =0.987,GFI =0.993,AGFI =0.973.The model was proved well.Conclusion Perceived social support partially mediates the relationship between alexithymia and negative psychology,instand of regulating it.

Objective To investigate the effects of pretreatment with remifentanil on hemorrhagic shock (HS)-induced acute liver injury in rabbits.Methods Thirty-two New Zealand white rabbits,weighing 2.0-2.5 kg,were randomly divided into 4 groups (n=8 each): sham operation group (group S) ; group HS,low-dose remifentanil group (group RL) ; high-dose remifentanil group (group RH).Remifentanil was infused at 0.66 and 1.32 μg· kg-1 · min-1 for 145 min in groups RL and RH respectively,while the equal volume of normal saline was infused in group C.HS was induced by withdrawing blood from the left femoral artery at 15 min after continuous infusion of normal saline or remifentanil and mean arterial pressure (MAP) was reduced to 40 mm Hg.MAP was reduced to 35-45 mm Hg and maintained at this level for 120 min in groups HS,RL and RH.Blood samples were taken for determination of serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) activities before administration (T0),immediately before blood letting (T1),and at 10,30,60 and 90 min after blood letting (T3-6).The animals were then sacrificed and the livers were immediately removed for microscopic examination.Results Compared with group S,the serum ALT activity at T5 and T6 and serum AST activity at T4-T6 were significantly increased in the other three groups (P ＜ 0.05).Compared with group HS,the serum ALT activity at T5 and T6,and serum AST activity at T4-T6 were significantly decreased in group RH,and no significant change was found in group RL (P ＞ 0.05).Compared with group RL,the serum ALT activity at T5 and T6,and serum AST activity at T4-T6 were significantly decreased in group RH (P ＜ 0.05).The serum ALT activity at T5 and T6 and serum AST activity at T4-T6 were significantly increased in groups HS,R and RH than those at T0 (P ＜ 0.05 or 0.01).The patho1ogical injury was attenuated in group RH compared with groups HS and RL.Conclusion Remifentanil pretreatment can attenuate HS-induced acute liver injury in rabbits,and the effect is related to the dose.

OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of flunarizine combined with salvianolate in the treatment of acute migraine. METHODS:A total of 72 patients with acute migraine were randomly divided into control group(36 cases)and observation group (36 cases). Based on routine treatment,control group was given Flunarizine hydrochloride capsules orally,10 mg for 65 year-old and below once a day,5 mg for more than 65 year-old once a day. Observation group was additionally given Flunarizine hydrochloride for injection 200 mg intravenously,once a day,on the basis of control group. Both groups were treated contineously till cured or for 2 weeks. Clinical efficacy,onset time,recovery time,VAS score,frequency and duration of head-ache attack,ADR were observed in 2 groups. RESULTS:In the course of treatment,the two groups did not terminate and fall off, and all of them completed the treatment. The total response rate(97.22%)of observation group was significantly higher than that (86.11%)of control group;onset time and recovery time of observation group were both shorter than those of control group,with statistical significance (P<0.05). Before treatment,there was no statistical significance in VAS score,frequency or duration of headache attack between 2 groups (P>0.05). After treatment,VAS score,frequency and duration of headache attack in 2 groups were all significantly lower than before,and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group,with statistical significance (P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in the incidence of ADR between 2 groups (P>0.05). CONCLU-SIONS:Based on routine treatment,flunarizine hydrochloride capsules combined with Salvianolate injection show significant effica-cy for acute migraine with good safety.

Objective To investigate the expression and significance of estrogen receptor alpha in renal tissue of immunoglobulin A (IgA) nephropathy.Methods Fifty renal tissue samples including forty five cases of IgA nephropathy and five cases of normal expression were collected.The expression of estrogen receptor αt (ERα) was detected by immunohistochemistry method,and its relationship with clinical parameters and the degree of glomerular damage were analyzed.Results ERα was located in the glomerular and renal tubules.With the severity of the lesion,the expression of ERα in renal tissue of IgA nephropathy decreased gradually (P =0.001) and its expression was associated with estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR),serum creatinine (Scr),and pathologic grade of IgA nephropathy (r =0.876,-0.818,and -0.736,P ＜ 0.05),The expression of ERα was significantly decreased in hypertensive patients with IgA nephropathy,and the difference was statistically significant compared with that in non-hypertensive group (P =0.011).Conclusions The expression of ERα in renal tissue of IgA nephropathy was significantly decreased and there was a correlation between the degree of renal tissue damage,suggesting that ERα might play a role in the development of renal disease.

Objective To investigate the functions of Rv1273c and Rv1272c, two ATP-binding cassette transporters (ABC transporters) in Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M. tuberculosis). Methods The ethidium bromide ( EB)-agar cartwheel and EB accumulation assays were used to detect the transport direc-tion of Rv1273c and Rv1272c in the recombinant strains of BL21/pET-28a-rv1273c and BL21/pET-28a-rv1272c, which were constructed by our lab in the previous study. RT-PCR was used to confirm whether rv1273c and rv1272c genes were in the same operon. Real-time PCR was performed to detect the expression of rv1272c and rv1273c genes in M. tuberculosis strains of H37Rv and H37Ra. Results Both the EB-agar cartwheel and the EB accumulation assays indicated that Rv1273c and Rv1272c transported EB into cells. Results of the RT-PCR showed that rv1273c and rv1272c were in the same operon. The expression of rv1273c and rv1272c at mRNA level in M. tuberculosis H37Ra strain were about 6 times higher than those in M. tuber-culosis H37Rv strain. Conclusion Rv1273c and Rv1272c are ABC importers and might be related to the virulence of M. tuberculosis.

Objective To investigate the mRNA expression of UPA and MMP-9 in gastric carcinoma and their correlation with histological type, growth-type, differentiation, vessel invasion, metastasis and prognosis. MethodsIn situ hybridization was used to detect the mRNA expression of UPA and MMP-9. ResultsIn situ hybridization revealed that among 105 cases, the positive rates of UPA mRNA and MMP-9 mRNA were both 58.1%. There was no significant relationship between UPA mRNA and histological type( r _ s = 0.123, P =0.210)and differentiation ( r _ s =0.102, P =0.298)of the tumor. However, there was a significant difference between growth-type( r _ s =0.344, P =0.001),tumor invasion depth( r _ s =0.296, P =0.002),vessel invasion( r _ s =0.198, P =0.042),lymph node( r _ s =0.332, P =0.001)and distant metastasis( r _ s =0.530, P =0.001);there was no significant relationship between MMP-9 mRNA staining and histological type( r _ s =0.143, P =0.145)and differentiation( r _ s =0.102, P =0.298)of the tumor. However, there was a statistically significant difference between growth-type( r _ s =0.267, P =0.006),tumor invasion depth ( r _ s =0.335, P =0.001)、vessel invasion( r _ s =0.209, P =0.032),lymph node( r _ s =0.343, P =0.001)and distant metastasis( r _ s =0.468, P =0.001);There was a positive relationship between UPA mRNA and MMP-9 mRNA expression( r _ s =0.237, P =0.015). The mean survival time in cases with positive UPA mRNA and MMP-9 mRNA expression were significantly shorter than that of cases with negative expression. ConclusionThe mRNA expression of UPA and MMP-9 can predict the invasion and metastasis of gastric carcinoma, They can be used as markers of prognosis of gastric carcinoma in clinical practice.

With redox-sensitive fluorescene probes DCFH-DA and DHR123, the formation of cytosolic and intramitochondrial reactive oxygen species (ROS) inside immature rat cerebellar granule cells during the apoptosis induced by nitric oxide donor S-nitroso-N-acetyl-pennicillamine (SNAP) was monitored by laser confocal scanning microscopy. The cytosolic and intramitochondrial ROS increase significantly after 0.5 mmol/L SNAP treatment for 1 h. Pre-treatment with the nitric oxide scavenger hemoglobin can effectively inhibit the formation of cytosolic and intrarnitochondrial ROS and protect neurons from apoptosis. Adding glutathione can also protect neurons from apoptosis, and the cytotoxity of nitric oxide increases significantly while the synthesis of glutathione is inhibited. The results indicated that ROS might be involved in NO-induced apoptosis in neural cells and glutathione might be the endogenesis antioxidant to protect neurons from oxidative injury.

Objective To determine the risk factors contributing to deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in the lower extremity after orthopedic surgery.Methods Five thousand one hundred and thirty-three patients of both sexes,aged 18-89 yr,undergoing orthopedic surgery,were included in the study.Visits to patients were performed 1 day before surgery,and age,gender,body weight,diagnosis of diseases,smoking history,complications,medical history,and results of laboratory tests were recorded.General anesthesia,epidural anesthesia or combined spinal-epidural anesthesia,or field block (brachial plexus block or femoral nerve block) was performed during surgery.Ultrasound was performed on 7th day after surgery for detection of DVT.The patients were divided into DVTfree group and DVT group.The method of anesthesia,type and duration of surgery,postoperative use of low molecular heparin for anticoagulation,time for patients resumed ambulation were recorded.Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to examine the relationship between these factors and to pick out the risk factors for DVT.Results Two hundred and twelve patients developed DVT after surgery.The incidence of DVT was 4.13 %.Logistic regression analysis showed that age ＞ 64 yr,body mass index≥25 kg/m2,complications such as diabetes and hypertension,history of phlebeurysma,triglyceride ≥ 1.7 mmol/L,D-Dimer≥ 500 μg/L,duration of surgery ＞ 4 h,general anesthesia,time for patients resumed ambulation ≥ 5 days were independent risk factors for DVT after orthopedic surgery.Conclusion Old age,obesity,history of phlebeurysma,complications such as diabetes and hypertension,high triglyceride and D-Dimer levels,long surgery,general anesthesia,prolonged duration of bed rest after operation are independent risk factors contributing to DVT in the lower extremity after orthopedic surgery.

Objective:To study the protective effects of Danhong injection ( DH) on myocardial damage induced by doxorubicin ( DOX) in Lewis tumor bearing mice. Methods:The model of Lewis lung cancer in mice was established by underarm injecting tumor cells, and then randomly divided into four groups:the model control group, DOX group, DH group and DH+DOX group. After the experiment, myocardial and tumor tissue were separated from Lewis tumor bearing mice, and the excised tumors were weighted. The activities of lactate dehydrogenase ( LDH) , creatine kinase ( CK) , manganese superoxide dismutase ( SOD) , catalase ( CAT) and glu-tathione peroxidase ( GPx) , and the content of malondialdehyde ( MDA) were determined by a colorimetric method. Flow cytometry was used to determine the levels of apoptosis, reactive oxygen species (ROS) and mitochondrial membrane potential (△Ψm). Re-sults:Compared with that in the model control group, a significant decrease of tumor weight was shown in both DOX group and DH+DOX group (P<0. 01). DH had no significant influence on the anticancer function of DOX. The activity of LDH and CK, and the ap-optosis in myocardium cells significantly increased (P<0. 01). Compared with DOX group, the activities of LDH and CK, and the ap-optosis significantly decreased in DH+DOX group (P<0. 01). The activities of △Ψm, SOD, CAT and GPx significantly increased (P<0.05orP<0.01). ThecontentofMDAandROSgenerationbothdecreased(P<0.01).Conclusion:DHhasnosignificantin-fluence on the antitumor effect of DOX. The combination of DH and DOX shows cadioprotective effect on the myocardial damage through improving mitochondrial antioxidant defense capacity, ameliorating oxidative stress and maintaining △Ψm homeostasis.
