Objective:To investigate the correlation between hematopoietic cell kinase (HCK) and the expression level of the mitochondrial ribosomal protein L13 (MRPL13) and hematopoietic multimode ultrasound.Methods:204 female breast cancer patients treated by surgery in Quzhou people’s Hospital from Jan. 2017 to Sep. 2020 were selected as study subjects. Breast cancer tissues and adjacent normal tissues were extracted intraoperatively. Preoperative conventional ultrasound, shear wave elastography (SWE) and contrast-enhanced Ultrasonography (CEUS) were used to detect HCK and MRPL13 expression levels. Univariate analysis and binary Logistic regression were used to analyze the correlation between multi-mode ultrasonic features and HCK and MRPL13.Results:The positive expression ratios of HCK and MRPL 13 in breast cancer tissues were significantly higher than those in adjacent tissues ( χ2 was 5.625, 7.197; P was 0.018, 0.007) . In conventional ultrasound features, the proportions of HCK-positive breast cancer patients with irregular mass edges, microcalcifications, and grade II to III blood flow classification were significantly higher than those of HCK-negative patients ( χ2 was 7.437, 16.684, 23.262; P was 0.006, <0.001, <0.001) ; The proportion of MRPL13-positive breast cancer patients with a maximum diameter of ≥2 cm, irregular edges of the tumor, and grade II-III blood flow classification was significantly higher than that of MRPL13-negative patients ( χ2 was 4.676, 11.118, 8.389; P was 0.031, 0.001, 0.004) . For SWE signs, the proportion of HCK positive breast cancer patients with hard ring sign was significantly higher than that of HCK negative patients ( χ2=11.220, P=0.001) ; the proportion of MRPL13 positive breast cancer patients with hard ring sign and black hole sign was significantly higher than that of MRPL13. Those who were negative ( χ2 was 4.482, 8.775; P was 0.034, 0.003) . Among CEUS characteristics, the proportion of HCK-positive patients with high enhancement was significantly higher than that of HCK-negative patients ( χ2=7.356, P=0.007) ; the proportion of MRPL13-positive patients with high enhancement and late regression was significantly higher than that of MRPL13-negative patients ( χ2 was 9.165, 7.631; P was 0.002, 0.006) . The results of binary logistic analysis showed that there was microcalcification ( OR=4.619, 95% CI=2.657-8.119, P=0.009) , blood flow classification II to III ( OR=4.150, 95% CI=2.547-7.954, P=0.015) and high enhancement of CEUS ( OR=4.150, 95% CI=2.547-7.954, P=0.015) are independent risk factors for positive expression of HCK; blood flow grade II to grade III ( OR=4.213, 95% CI=3.145-8.557, P=0.012) , appearance of black hole sign ( OR=5.246, 95% CI=2.864-10.378, P<0.001) and high enhancement of CEUS ( OR=3.872, 95% CI=1.887~6.438, P=0.026) were the independent risk factors for the positive expression of MRPL13. Conclusion:The multimodal ultrasonographic features of breast cancer are helpful to predict the expression levels of HCK and MRPL13, so as to provide new imaging ideas for early diagnosis of breast cancer, the designation of treatment options and the preoperative non-invasive assessment of breast cancer prognosis.

Objective To evaluate the effect of maternal separation stress on the behavior of neonatal rd mice.Methods Neonatal rd mice were divided into maternal separation (MS) group (n=9) and control group (n=9).MS-stress was induced in the MS group by 4-hour-separation per day for 28 days.Open field test,elevated plus maze test,forced swim test and tail suspension test were used to evaluate the anxiety-like and depression-like behavior of the neonatal rd mice.Results The stay time and distance travelled of MS group in the central zone were 0.88％ and 28.17±5.65 cm,respectively,significantly shorter than that of the control group (2.61％,109.9±9.79 cm.P =0.04,P =0.001).Compared with the control group,the stay time in open arms of the MS group was significantly decreased (P<0.01),while the immobility time in forced swim test and tail suspension test of the MS group were 126.5±10.22 s and 21.56±6.83 s,significantly longer than that of the control group (77.75±16.83 s,P =0.02,7.37±3.22 s,P =0.03).Conclutions The 28-day maternal separation stress can significantly increase the anxiety-like and depression-like behavior in neonatal rd mice.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for content and dissolution determination of berberine hydrochloride in Fengshi qutong capsule. METHODS:HPLC was conducted to determine the content of berberine hydrochloride in the preparation:the column was Waters Xbridge C18 with mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.05 mol/L sodium hydrogen(45:55,V/V)at a flow rate of 0.5 ml/min,de-tection wavelength was 345 nm,column temperature was 30 ℃,and the injection volume was 10 μl. Rotating basket method was used to determine the dissolution of berberine hydrochloride. RESULTS:The linear range of berberine hydrochloride was 1.06-74.2 μg/ml(r=0.9999);RSDs of precision, stability and reproducibility tests were lower than 1%;recovery was 96.8%-100.6%(RSD=1.6%,n=9). The dissolution of samples in 30 min was higher than 80%. CONCLUSIONS:The method is simple and stable with good reproducibility,and can be used for content and dissolution determination of berberine hydrochloride in Fengshi qutong capsule.

Boronic acids and their derivatives have been widely used in carbohydrate-sensitive materials because they can selectively bind 1,2-and 1,3-diol compounds, including sugars, to form cyclic boronate esters. In this work, pheylboronic acid ( PBA) moieties were grafted onto the backbone of poly( acrylic acid) ( PAA) through the condensation reaction between aminopheyl-boronic acid and carboxylic acid group of PAA in the presence of EDC/NHS, designed as PAA-PBA. Then the resulting PAA-PBA were assembled with poly ( ethyleneimine) ( PEI) to form PAA-PBA multilayer films. The sensing performance of the PEI/PAA-PBA film to carbohydrate (> 50 μg/mL ) , including glucose, fructose, mannose and galactose, has been investigated by combination of the complementary techniques of quartz crystal microbalance ( QCM ) and atomic force microscopy ( AFM) . It was demonstrated that the multilayer showed higher sensitivity to fructose than glucose, mannose and galactose. The interferences of ascorbic acid, uric acid and dopamine to the recognition of glucose can be avoided and the multilayer sensor with excellent long term stability can be recycled by changing pH value of buffer solutions. This system may be potential in realization of high selectivity and high sensitivity sensing system for probing carbohydrate.

BACKGROUND:Twin block appliance has been shown to effectively promote mandibular bone growth of Class Ⅱ malocclusion patients and improve lateral appearance of mandibular retrusion.The other improvement of Twin block appliance on hard-soft tissues remains unclear.OBJECTIVE:To assess the hard-soft tissue changes following Twinblock appliance treatment.METHODS:Atotal of 48 adolescent patients,30 males and 18 females,aged 11.6 years (range 9.58-12.37) with Class Ⅱ malocclusion were selected from Department of Orthodontics,Affiliated Stomatology Hospital of Hebei Medical University.Of them,27 were treated with Twinblock appliance as the treatment group,and 21 adolescent patients without treatments were selected as the control group.Cephalonetric analysis was used to compare the changes before and after treatment.RESULTS AND CONCLUSLON:Comparative analysis showed that Twinblock could effectively adjust or improve the effect of the natural growth,reduced upper lip convexity and mentolabial furrow angle.Moreover,Twinblock inhibited facial vertical distance reduction and facial convexity increase to decrease the potential differences between maxillary and mandibular bones in sagittal plance.Results show that Twinblock could effectively improve the profile of soft-tissues of Class Ⅱ malocclusion cases,

Objective To measure mitral annual displacement (MAD) by M-mode echocardiography in normal second and third trimester fetuses,and assess relationships between MAD and gestational age and routine echocardiographic parameters for evaluation of left ventricular function.Methods One hundred fifty-five normal fetuses from 19 to 38 weeks of gestation were recruited in the study.MVD and tricuspid annual displacement (TAD) were measured.Early diastolic inflow velocities (E) of the atrioventricular valves were assessed by pulsed-wave Doppler(PW),and early diastolic velocities (Em) of the mitral annular were estimated by pulsed-wave tissue Doppler imaging (TDI).The ratio of E/Em was calculated.Results In normal fetuses,the MAD was (7.05 ± 1.17) mm.There was significant positive correlation between the fetal MAD and advancing gestational age ( r =0.82,P ＜0.01 ),and between MAD and E,A,Em,Am or Sm ( r =0.25,0.24,0.32,0.29 and 0.40 respectively,P ＜0.01).There was no correlation between fetal MAD and E/A,E/Em,LVEF or LVFS.The left MAD was significantly lower than the right TAD ( P ＜0.01 ).Conclusions MAD of fetuses from 19 to 38 weeks of gestation can be quantitatively measured by Mmode echocardiogram.The measurement of MAD provides a reliable quantitative standard to estimate long axis ventricular function of fetuses,which may be clinically useful in prenatal detecting early cardiac failure.

With the development of the diagnosis and treatment for rare diseases and the promotion of the construction of ′Double First-Class′ Universities in China, the libraries of medical schools have to make full use of their strengths to better face new challenges in discipline construction proactively. This article refers to resource and information service practices related to the rare disease carried out by medical libraries in China and in other countries; explores the possibilities of building up the resource and information in the future, aiming at improving the awareness of rare diseases among medical students, researchers, and the general public. The article also focuses on the need for strengthening the support for teaching and research into rare diseases, hoping to contribute to the overall improvement of the diagnosis, treatment, and educational research in rare diseases in China.

OBJECTIVETo determine the optimal dosing of streptozotocin (STZ) for establishing lymphoma-bearing diabetic mouse models.

METHODSA total of 200 healthy male Balb/c mice were randomized into 4 groups (n=50) for intraperitoneal injection of a single dose of vehicle solution (control) or 75, 150, or 200 mg/kg STZ. The changes of body weight and blood glucose were observed regularly, and the success rate of modeling, mortality rate, and survival of the mice were recorded after the injections. The mice with successfully induced diabetes received subcutaneous or tail vein injection of A20 lymphoma cells, and the rate of tumorigenesis, mortality rate, and survival time were observed at 1 month and 3 months after tumor cell injection.

RESULTSCompared with the control group, the mice receiving STZ injection at 150 and 200 mg/kg showed significantly decreased body weight and increased blood glucose (P<0.05), while STZ at 75 mg/kg did not produced such obvious changes. STZ injection at 200 mg/kg resulted in a significantly higher mortality rate and shorter survival time than STZ at 150 mg/kg (P<0.05). In the control group and 150 and 200 mg/kg STZ groups, the rate of tumorigenesis or mortality rate showed no significant differences after subcutaneous injection of A20 lymphoma cells (P>0.05), but differed significantly at 3 months after tail vein injection of the tumor cells (P<0.05).

CONCLUSIONIntraperitoneal injection of STZ at 150 mg/kg is associated with a low mortality rate, a high successful modeling rate of diabetes and a long survival time in mice, and is therefore optimal for establishing diabetic mouse models bearing transplanted tumors.

Abstract Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) is one of the main psychotherapeutic methods used to treat anxiety disorders in children and adolescents. Art therapy, based on psychotherapy theory and methods, is rising in popularity abroad. At present, foreign scholars have started to apply cognitive behavioral art therapy (CBAT) for patients with anxiety disorders. Based on the current findings, children and adolescents with developing cognitive functions may also benefit from this therapy. This article summarizes the application status of CBAT in the treatment of anxiety disorder in patients at home and abroad, and innovatively explores its therapeutic potential for anxiety disorders in children and adolescents in China, thus providing a novel perspective that can address the shortcomings of CBT.

Objective To explore the correlation of serum Chemerin level with disease activity and the ratio of T helper 17/regulatory T cells(Th17/Treg)in patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods A total of 180 patients with RA who were admitted to our hospital were regarded as the observation group.According to the DAS28 score,the observation group was divided into the high activity group(60 cases),the moderate activity group(60 cases)and the low activity group(60 cases).Another 180 healthy people who underwent physical examination in our hospital during the same period were regarded as the control group.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was used to detect serum levels of Chemerin,interleukin-9(IL-9),interleukin-10(IL-10)and interleukin-17(IL-17).Flow cytometry was used to detect the Th17/Treg ratio.Spearman correlation analysis was applied to analyze the correlation between serum Chemerin level and DAS28 score.Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between serum Chemerin level and Th17,Treg cell percentage and Th17/Treg ratio.Results The results of this study showed that the serum level of Chemerin was higher in the observation group than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The serum Chemerin level was positively correlated with DAS28 score(P＜0.05).Serum Chemerin levels and DAS28 scores decreased in turn in the high,moderate and low activity groups(P＜0.05).The percentage of Th17 cells and the ratio of Th17/Treg were higher in the observation group than those in the control group,and the percentage of Treg cells was lower in the observation group than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The level of IL-10 was lower in the observation group than that in the control group,while levels of IL-17 and IL-9 were higher in the observation group than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The results of Pearson correlation analysis showed that serum Chemerin level was positively correlated with the percentage of Th17 cells and the ratio of Th17/Treg,and negatively correlated with the percentage of Treg cells(P＜0.05).Conclusion Serum Chemerin level is elevated in patients with RA,which is closely related to disease activity and Th17/Treg ratio.
