Drug addiction is a chronic relapsing brain disease. Repeated drug exposure can cause neuroadaptations in major brain circuitries,leading to compulsive drug consumption behav-ior and relapse after abstinence.Many studies have found that intercellular signaling cascades mediated central nervous system remodeling in the rewarding circuitry and addiction associated neuroplasticity of learning and memory are important molecular mechanism of drug addiction.Studies show that extracellular sig-nal-regulated kinase (ERK)is associated with drug-mediated psychomotor activity,rewarding properties and relapse of drug seeking behaviors.Therefore,this article has reviewed the role of ERK signaling pathway in drug addiction.Research on the role of ERK signaling pathway in drug addiction will provide im-portant theoretical foundation for in-depth understanding of the molecular mechanism of drug addiction and shine a light on new molecular targets and treatment strategies for drug addiction.

Objective To identify the Candida species isolated from recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis( RVVC) pa-tients, and provide etiologic datum of RVVC. Methods All Candida isolates, including those from vulvovaginal candidiasis ( VVC) and RVVC patients, were identified by using CHROMagar chromogenic medium and VITEK2 yeast identification kits. Results The proportions of nonalbicans species from nonpregnant RVVC relapse patients and pregnant VVC patients were both significantly higher than those from nonpregnant VVC patients ( P<0. 05 ) . Among pregnant patients, the percentage of C. albicans isolated from RVVC relapse was couer, but there was no significant difference of C. albicans species percentage between RVVC and VVC patients. Conclusion RVVC may be related to the recurrence of same Candia species and the reinfection of different Candia species. Pregnant women may be more inclinable to suffer from disorder caused by nonalbicans species.

Drug addiction is a chronic relapsing brain disease that is characterized by compulsive drug use and persistence of drug craving. Drug abuse can lead to changes in the neuron structure and function of plasticity,alterations in molecules and cells,and ultimately to individual abnormal behavior. Current studies have found that epigenetic changes leading to the sustainability of gene expression is an important mechanism of drug addiction. In this review,we will systematically summarize the latest advances in epigenetic mechanisms of drug addiction. This review is expected to provide robust evidence that repeated exposure to drugs of abuse induces changes within the brain′s reward regions in three major modes of epigenetic regulation-histone modifications such as acetylation and methylation , DNA methylation,and non-coding RNAs. It promises a new perspective from which to gain insights into the genetic and epigenetic mechanisms of drug addiction and a new area for epigenetic research on clinical drug addiction treatment.

Objective To observe the influence of sowing time and planting density on seed germination percentage and growth of Desmodium styracifolium(Osb.) Merr..Methods After quality inspection of the seed,the seeds planting test for Desmodium styracifolium(Osb.) Merr.was carried out from March to October,and the influences of sowing time and planting density on the seed germination percentage and growth were observed.Results On the planting base of Pingyuan county in Guangdong province,the seeds of Desmodium styracifolium(Osb.) Merr.planted from March to October had a high germination percentage and the seedling grew well.With the increase of planting density,the seed germination percentage decreased,but was up to 80% when the planting density was 0.5～1.0 g /m2.Conclusion The optimum planting time for Desmodium styracifolium(Osb.) Merr.is in autumn and the optimum planting density is 0.5～1.0 g /m2.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the deafness-related gene mutation frequency and hotspots in patients of Fuzhou city with non-syndromic hearing loss (NSHL). METHODS Peripheral blood samples were obtained from 88 cases of patients with hearing loss after clinical history inquiry and clinical examination. Their genomic DNA was extracted from peripheral blood by extraction kits to undergo polymerase chain reaction, traditional capillary electrophoresis sequencing and High-throughput sequencing so as to detect the mutations of deafness-related gene. RESULTS Among the 88 patients with NSHL, the gene mutation frequency was 34.09%.In the patients, 14 cases had mitochondrial 12 S rRNA mutations, six cases had GJB2 gene mutations and three cases had SLC26A4 mutations, two cases had MYO15A mutations, the other five cases had MYO7A, OTOF, TECTA, TMC1 and ILDR1 gene mutation respectively. CONCLUSION Among the 88 patients with NSHL, the most frequent mutation causing hereditary deadness was mutation in mitochondrial 12 S rRNA, followed by GJB2 and SLC26A4, The other genes such as MYO7A, OTOF, TECTA, TMC1 and ILDR1 gene were infrequent. The study could provide theoretical reference in genetic diagnosis, prevention and cure of hearing loss.

Background and purpose:Measurement of tumor markers in serum is widely used for the diagnosis of lung cancer, but the positive rates of single marker for diagnosis of lung cancer were not high. This study was to investigate the clinical value of combined measurement of serum CYFRA21-1,NSE,CEA,CA19-9,CA125 for the diagnosis of lung cancer. Methods:The levels of CYFRA21-1,NSE,CEA,CA19-9,CA125,SCC were assayed and compared between the lung cancer group(135 cases) and cancer-free control group(20 case) by electrochemiluminesence immunoassay.Results:The levels of CYFRA21-1,NSE,CEA,CA19-9,CA125 and SCC in the lung cancer group were (7?8) ng/ml,(30?29) ng/ml,(65?293) ng/ml,(110?379) U/ml,(122?412) U/ml and (2?7) ng/ml, respectively, which were higher than those in the control group. The levels of the six tumor markers were associated with pathology of lung cancer, the levels of CEA were (11?25)?10 ng/ml,(2?4) ?10 ng/ml,(2?3)?10 ng/ml in the adenocarcinoma , squamous cell carcinoma and small cell carcinoma cases respectively; the levels of CA125 were (21?48)?10 U/ml,(48?57) ?10 U/ml,(5?4)?10 U/ml in the adenocarcinoma ,squamous cell carcinoma and small cell carcinoma patients, respectively; the levels of CA199 were (17?44) ?10 U/ml,(5?12)?10 U/ml,(4?4) ?10 U/ml in the adenocarcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and small cell carcinoma patients, respectively. The levels of CEA,CA125,CA19-9 in the adenocarcinoma were higher than those in the squamous cell carcinoma and small cell carcinoma, but there was no significance different(P

Objective To evaluate the use of preoperative MSCT in patients with clinically suspected colorectal disease after incomplete colonoscopy Methods After incomplete colonoscopy, 31 patients underwent MSCT before and after intravenous injection of iodinated contrast agent CT virtual colonography (CTVC), multiplanar reformation (MPR), shaded surface display (SSD), and Raysum images were obtained by using 4 different software in workstation The results of MSCT were compared with the findings of colonoscopy, intraoperative colon palpation, and postoperative pathology Results After incomplete colonoscopy, MSCT was successfully performed in all 31 cases Postoperative pathology revealed 22 colorectal cancers (one synchronous cancers, two with polyps) and 9 benign disease 22 colonic carcinomas were all correctly diagnosed by MSCT (including synchronous disease), 2 benign diseases were misdiagnosed as malignancy, and one polyp was missed Conclusion MSCT is a feasible and useful method for evaluating the entire colon before surgery in patients with occlusive disease

Objective To analyze the clinical characteristics and treatment Methods of severe com?plications after percutaneous tracheotomy( PDT) in neurosurgery patients,and to provide reference for the treat?ment and rescue of these patients. Methods A retrospective analysis of 578 cases after PDT was performed in Neurosurgery Intensive Care Unit ( NSICU ) of Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University from 2005 to 2015. The types of complications,treatment method and prognosis were analyzed. Follow?up was 3 months to 1 year. Results Eighteen cases with severe complications,including bleeding,wound infection,asphyxia caused by tracheal mucosa suffocation,airway stenosis caused by granulation tissue,subcutaneous emphysema and neu?momediastinum,etc. After treatment and active rescue,most patients recovered,no patients die directly associated with surgery. Conclusion PDT plays an important role in the treatment of patients in NSICU,but it is still pos?sible to have serious complications,so physicians must understand and be prepared for complications,and pay more attention to prevent poor prognosis.

Objective To explore the effectiveness and safety of high frequency oscillatory ventilation(HFOV) in children with measles complicated with severe pneumonia and the acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS).Methods A total of 63 children with measles complicated with severe pneumonia and the ARDS were divided into conventional mechanical ventilation(CMV) group and HFOV group.The PaO2/ FiO2,oxygenation index (OI),HR and mean arterial pressure (MAP) before treatment and 12 h,24 h,48 h after treatment were detected.The rate of air leak and the motality in two groups were compared.The efficacy and safety of HFOV treatment were evaluated in children with measles complicated with pneumonia and severe ARDS.Results In HFOV group,the PaO2/FiO2 ratio was elevated and OI was decreased significantly after 12 h and maintained for at least 48 h.Compared with CMV group,OI of HFOV group improved more significantly,and the difference was statistically significant.The ventilation time in HFOV group was shorten than that in CMV group[(7.97 ±3.06) d vs.(11.03 ±3.60) d],but there was no statistical difference between two groups (P ＞ 0.05).The heart rate after treatment 48 h was gradually returned to normal,and there was no statistical difference between the two groups.There were no significant changes in the MAP of two groups after treatment.There were no significant differences in the incidence of air leak between the CMV group and the HFOV group(24.2％ vs.16.7％).The mortality rate of CMV group and HFOV group was respectively 45.5 ％ and 33.3 ％,and there was no statistically significant difference.Conclusion HFOV was effective in oxygenation and seems to be safe for pediatric patients with measles complicated with severe pneumonia and the ARDS.Also it didn't influence the occurrence of complications.It has no adverse influence on hemodynamic parameters.Early intervention of HFOV is safe and effective for the children with measles complicated with severe pneumonia and ARDS.

The graphene prepared by chemical vapor deposition onto copper foils was transferred onto a poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) soft substrate by the aid of poly-methyl methacrylate (PMMA).The soft G/AuNPs/GOD composite electrode based on PET substrate was fabricated using a protocol in which the uniform distribution of Au nanoparticles (AuNPs) was firstly obtained by controlling the evaporation of gold sol on a graphene surface, then thioglycolic acid (TGA) was modified on the AuNPs through Au-S bond, and finally glucose oxidase (GOD) was immobilized on the surface of AuNPs through acylation reaction between TGA and the GOD.Glucose was detected in the linear range from 0.05 to 10.55 mmol/L with a linear correlation coefficient (r) of 0.9955.The detection was performed in phosphate buffer solution (pH 7) at 25℃ with a working potential of 0.6 V (vs.SCE electrode), and the detection limit was 1 μmol/L (3σ).The G/AuNPs/GOD flexible electrode based on PET substrate provided a new pathway to detect glucose in special environments using wearable equipment, which enlarged the applied field of glucose detection.
