Objective To construct and implement theSTARnurse training model, and discuss its application effect and the problems that should be paid attention to, and to provide operational cases and practical basis for nursing clinical education. Methods Through literature review and expert consultation, the framework and content of STAR nurse training model were set up and implemented. The questionnaire survey and semi structured in-depth interviews were conducted among the nurses in the hospital to evaluate the effect of improving the nurses′self-directed learning ability. Results After the implementation of the project, the scores of the three dimensions of self-management, desire for study and self-control were (3.67±0.57), (4.05±0.54), (3.99±0.50) points, which were higher than (3.55±0.49), (3.71± 0.52), (3.53±0.42) points before implementation. The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05 or 0.01). The semi structured in-depth interviews showed that all the nurses believed that STAR nurse training model could promote independent learning and stimulate interest in learning. 14 nurses thought it was beneficial for the nurses to find the problems. Conclusions STAR nurse training model can create a favorable learning environment for nurses, and stimulate the learning motivation. It plays a positive role in improving nurses′ability of self-directed learning.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2002;26(1):65-66
The assistant artificial hip joint (AAHJ) is a new impermanent hip support implanted in the body. It is used for treatment of ischemic necrosis of the femoral head at the early stage. It reserves the natural femoral head, increases its containment and decreases its load, thus makes the recovery of the necrosed femoral head. The AAHJ's moving axis center is the same as that of the femoral head. Therefore, the moving range of the hip joint is very close to the normal postoperatively. The patient can walk with loading in 3 weeks after the surgical operation, and can regain his (or her) daily work and life in 2 to 3 months of the operation. The AAHJ's structure is simple and the price is cheap.

Objective To investigate the potential therapeutic effect of luteolin on sepsis-induced ALI and the underlying mechanisms. Methods Total of 50 mice were randomly(random number) divided into five groups:a sham control group,a sepsis-induced ALI group, and three sepsis groups pre-treated with 20,40,and 80 mg/kg body weight luteolin.Mice in the treatment groups were pre-treated with luteolin at the respective oral dose two days before ALI induction. The lungs were isolated for histopathological examinations, and the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) was collected for biochemical analyses. Results Luteolin significantly attenuated sepsis-induced ALI.Additionally, luteolin treatment decreased protein and inflammatory cytokine concentration and the number of infiltrated inflammatory cells in BALF compared with that in the non-treated sepsis mice.Pulmonary myeloperoxidase (MPO) activity was lower in the luteolin-pre-treated sepsis groups than in the sepsis group. The mechanism underlying the protective effect of luteolin on sepsis is related to the up-regulation of certain antioxidation genes, including inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS),cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2),superoxide dismutases (SODs),and heme oxygenase 1 (HO-1),and the reduction of inflammatory responses through blockage of the activation of the nuclear factor (NF)-κB pathway. Conclusions Luteolin pre-treatment inhibits sepsis-induced ALI through its anti-inflammatory and antioxidative activity, suggesting that luteolin may be a potential therapeutic agent for sepsis-induced ALI.

Objective:To explore the relationship between cardiac discomfort symptoms, fear of disease progress and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI) after discharge, and to clarify main intervention direction of PTSD in patients with AMI.Methods:Patients with AMI who were discharged from Tangshan Gongren Hospital between 1 month and 1 year were selected from November 2019 to November 2020.The cardiac discomfort symptoms scale, fear of progress questionnaire(FoP-Q-SF) and post-traumatic stress disorder self-rating scale(PTSD-SS) were used to investigate cardiac discomfort symptoms, fear of disease progress level and post-traumatic stress disorder status.Spearman rank correlation analysis was used to analyze the relationship between cardiac discomfort symptoms, fear of disease progress and post-traumatic stress disorder by SPSS 24.0 software. The mediating effect of fear of disease progress was analyzed by AMOS 24.0 software. Results:The PTSD score was (32.78±12.38) of patients with AMI discharged from hospital for 1 month to 1 year and the incidence of PTSD was 12.3%.Spearman correlation test showed cardiac discomfort symptoms and fear of disease progress were positively correlated with PTSD( r=0.530, 0.723, both P<0.01) and cardiac discomfort symptoms was positively correlated with fear of disease progress( r=0.518, P<0.01). Mediating effect test showed that fear of disease progress was a complete mediator between cardiac discomfort symptoms and PTSD. Conclusion:Cardiac discomfort symptoms can affect PTSD through a complete mediator of fear of disease progress.

Clinical and Molecular Hepatology 2024;30(2):191-205
Background/Aims:
Four-week treatment of linvencorvir (RO7049389) was generally safe and well tolerated, and showed anti-viral activity in chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients. This study evaluated the efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetics of 48-week treatment with linvencorvir plus standard of care (SoC) in CHB patients.
Methods:
This was a multicentre, non-randomized, non-controlled, open-label phase 2 study enrolling three cohorts: nucleos(t)ide analogue (NUC)-suppressed patients received linvencorvir plus NUC (Cohort A, n=32); treatment-naïve patients received linvencorvir plus NUC without (Cohort B, n=10) or with (Cohort C, n=30) pegylated interferon-α (Peg-IFN-α). Treatment duration was 48 weeks, followed by NUC alone for 24 weeks.
Results:
68 patients completed the study. No patient achieved functional cure (sustained HBsAg loss and unquantifiable HBV DNA). By Week 48, 89% of treatment-naïve patients (10/10 Cohort B; 24/28 Cohort C) reached unquantifiable HBV DNA. Unquantifiable HBV RNA was achieved in 92% of patients with quantifiable baseline HBV RNA (14/15 Cohort A, 8/8 Cohort B, 22/25 Cohort C) at Week 48 along with partially sustained HBV RNA responses in treatment-naïve patients during follow-up period. Pronounced reductions in HBeAg and HBcrAg were observed in treatment-naïve patients, while HBsAg decline was only observed in Cohort C. Most adverse events were grade 1–2, and no linvencorvir-related serious adverse events were reported.
Conclusions
48-week linvencorvir plus SoC was generally safe and well tolerated, and resulted in potent HBV DNA and RNA suppression. However, 48-week linvencorvir plus NUC with or without Peg-IFN did not result in the achievement of functional cure in any patient.
