Tumor thermal ablation therapy has been the common minimally invasive technique because of its excellent efficacy and safety,and has become a promising clinical minimally invasive treatment.But there are still limitations in its therapeutic range.Moreover,as an effective local treatment,the technology is bound to a cooperation with tumor system treatments.This review provides an overview of the concept of tumor thermotherapy and thermal ablation,and the possible mechanism of the synergistic effect of the thermal ablation with chemotherapy,including hyperthermia changing the blood supply to improve drug distribution,hyperthermia increasing drug intake,hyperthermia modifying the cytotoxicity of many chemotherapeutic agents,combination therapy improving the rate of complete ablation and promoting cell apoptosis.

Objective: Patient-reported outcome (PRO) method was used to evaluate clinical effects of acupuncture for cervical spondysosis. Methods: With RCT method used, 162 cases were adopted, and 150 cases finished the whole course (treatment group: 76 cases, control group: 74 cases). Treatment group cases were treated by real-acupuncture while control group cases treated by sham-acupuncture. Northwick Park Pain Questionnaire(NPQ)was used as main outcome index, while SF-36 as secondary index. Both groups’ patients were evaluated before and after treatment course, plus one month and 3 months after the end of the treatment course. Results:Treatment group cases got lower NPQ Scores and higher mental health dimensions scores than the control group cases at any evaluation time-point. At the point of one month after the end of the treatment course, the treatment group cases got better social function scores than the control group cases. At the point of three months after the end of the treatment course, the treatment group cases got better body pain and energy scores than the control group cases. Multiple regression analysis showed that three dimensions of SF-36 (social function scores body pain and energy scores) had close relationship with NPQ scores. Conclusion: Acupuncture had satisfactory long-term effect for cervical spondylosis.

Purpose To study the correlation between the expression of podoplanin-positive stromal cells and clinicopathologic features in squamous cell carcinoma ( SCC) of esophagus, and to explore the role of podoplanin-stromal cells in the progression of SCC of e-sophagus. Methods Immunohistochemical EnVision method was used to detect the expression of podoplanin in the stromal cells of e-sophageal SCC. The correlation between the expression of podoplanin-positive stromal cells and clinicopathologic features in SCC of e-sophagus was analyzed. Results Of 69 cases of SCC, podoplanin-positive stromal cells were seen in 43 and the positive rate was 62. 3%. Lymphatic vessel density in SCCs with podoplanin-positive stromal cell was 45. 72 ± 14. 36, which was higher than that with-out podoplanin-positive stromal cell (21. 23 ± 10. 49) (P<0. 01). Expression of podoplanin in stromal cells in SCCs with lymphatic vessel invasion was higher than those without lymphatic vessel invasion (P<0. 05). There was no correlation between podoplanin-posi-tive stromal cells and age, sex, tumor size, the depth of invasion, differentiation, lymph node metastasis, and clinical stage ( P>0. 05). Conclusion Podoplanin-positive stromal cells may promote the lymphangiogenesis and lymph vessel invasion of esophageal SCC.

Objective:To improve the identification and determination methods in the original quality standard for belladonna oral solution.Methods:Belladonna oral solution was identified by a specific chromatogram of HPLC,and scopoletin and hyoscyamine sulfate in belladonna oral solution were detected by dual wavelength spectrophotometry.The detection of fingerprints was performed on a Waters SunFire C18 (250 mm×4.6mm,5 μm) column.The mobile phase was methanol-0.05% phosphoric acid solution at a flow rate of 1.0 ml·min-1.The detection wavelength was 344 nm and the column temperature was 30℃.The detection of scopoletin and hyoscyamine sulfate was performed on the same C18 column.The mobile phase was 10 mmol·L-1 heptanesulfonate sodiumat (pH value was 3.3 adjusted by glacial acetic acid)-absolute ethanol-acetonitrile (68.75∶6.25∶25) at a flow rate of 1.0 ml·min-1.The detection wavelengths were 344 nm and 210 nm,and the column temperature was 30℃.Results:The specific chromatogram of belladonna oral solution was accordance with that of belladonna tincture raw material.The retention time and relative peak area of each characteristic peak and reference peak all met requirements of Chinese Pharmacopoeia.Scopoletin and hyoscyamine sulfate were completely separated from the other compositions under the above mentioned conditions.The calibration curves were linear within the range of 5.168-103.360 μg·ml-1 (r=1.000 0) for scopoletin and 50.560-758.400 μg·ml-1 (r=0.999 9) for hyoscyamine sulfate.The average recovery was 101.79% (RSD=1.05%,n=6) and 100.92% (RSD=0.97%,n=6),respectively.Conclusion:After the quality control method improvement,the identification shows high specificity and the quality of belladonna oral solution can be better controlled by the two selected index components.The method is easy and accurate,which can provide a reliable way to control the quality.

Objective To explore the value of MR diffusion tensor imaging ( DTI) in diagnosis of traumatic Axonal injury ( TAI) .Methods Twenty nine patients with traumatic brain injury ( TBI) and matched 22 control subjects were performed with DTI . Fractional anisotropy ( FA) was calculated from semioval center , corpus callosum , internal capsule and pons of controls and TBI pa-tients.According to Glasgow Score (GCS), TBI patients were divided into mild group (GCS≥13) and moderate-severe group (GCS≤12), each group compared with control group in FA value .The correlation between FA values in different regions and GCS score were analyzed in DTI group .Results FA value of semioval center was decreased in mild DTI group ( P <0.01 ) .FA values of semio-val center , corpus callosum , and internal capsule were decreased in moderate-severe DTI group ( P <0.05 ) .The FA values in semio-val center , corpus callosum , and internal capsule were positively correlated with GCS score in TBI group ( P <0.05 ) .Conclusions DTI is sensitive to detect the traumatic axonal injury??Changes of FA value in ROIs can access the severity of axonal injury ?? which ishelpful for diagnosis earlier and improving prognosis.

Objective To evaluate the efficiency of treatment of iliac-femoral venous thrombus(I-FVT)via double femoral veins.Methods Eighteen patients with I-FVT were treated with implantation of inferior vena caval filter,catheter-directed cut,balloon-directed extend and drag.Some patients were treated with ATD or OASIS catheter.After operation,the catheter was kept in iliac-femoral veins for one to six days.Meanwhile,strict anti-coagulation was necessary.Results The treatment was successful in seventeen patients,the iliac-femoral veins were patent after the opration.Swollen symptom of lower limb and pain disappeared in fifteen patients,swollen symptom of lower limb became better in two patients.The treatment was fail in one patient.Follow-up study showed no pulmonary embolization or recrudescence in all eighteen patients.Conclusion The treatment of I-FVT via double femoral veins is a safe and effective method,there are no serious complications.

Objective To investigate the calcium signal transduction pathway in hippocampal neurons of mice with vascular dementia (VaD) and the intervention effect of dihydroergocriptine (DHE). Methods The mice were subjected for ischemia-reperfusion repeatedly on bilateral common carotid arteries by knots to establish the VaD models. Animals with sham-operation were taken as control group. The treating group was administered with DHE after the establishment of VaD model. The behavior changes were observed through the step-down avoidance test and water maze test on the 29th and 30th days after operation. Objective To investigate temperature changes in prefrontal cortex and hippocampus of heroin addicts with magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS).Methods 18 heroin addicts in the withdrawal state and 18 healthy volunteers (control group) were performed with MRS scan.First, resting-state MRS scan was performed on all subjects, and then did MRS scan again under visual stimulation while subjects were asked to carefully watch the heroin-related cue images.Measurements of NAA of the identified regions (the prefrontal cortex, bilateral hippocampus) were obtained from all subjects.Brain temperatures were calculated by the modified brain temperature-chemical shift equation.Results In resting state, the temperature of prefrontal cortex in heroin addicts group was higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05),and the brain temperature was positively correlated with total dose of heroin (P<0.05).The prefrontal cortex/hippocampus temperature of heroin addicts group did not showed statistical significance between resting state and visual stimulation state (P>0.05).Conclusion MRS can be used to measure brain temperature noninvasively.Temperature change of brain may be helpful for exploring the mechanism of drug addiction and craving.
