1.Artificial bone or autologous bone grafting combined with pedicle screw fixation for repair of spinal tuberculosis
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(52):8498-8502
BACKGROUND:With the development of fixation materials and technology, scholars began to use artificial bone materials combined with pedicle screw fixation in the repair of spinal tuberculosis. OBJECTIVE: To summarize the characteristics of artificial bone materials combined with pedicle screw fixation in the repair of spinal tuberculosis. METHODS:The literatures about artificial bone graft materials in repair of spinal tuberculosis were retrieved from CNKI and PubMed database during 1985 to 2014 by computer. The keywords were “spinal tuberculosis, bone transplantation, internal fixation” in Chinese and English, respectively. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:In the repair of spinal tuberculosis using artificial bone materials combined with pedicle screw fixation, autologous bone is the gold standard for bone grafting, presenting with no immune rejection. To avoid the occurrence of limited bone mass, pain and other complications, however, artificial bone materials have been extensively studied. Currently used artificial materials mainly include titanium and its aloys, hydroxyapatite composites and medical calcium sulfate, which al have good biocompatibility. But there are stil certain limitations and shortcomings.

Objective To study the correlation between serum homocysteine (Hcy) levels and chronic heart failure (CHF) with ultrasound cardiac function patients. Methods The subjects were 88 cases of CHF (CHF group) in our hospital between April 2014 to June 2015 between patients, selected 65 cases of healthy people as a control group over the same period in our hospital, using color Doppler ultrasound measurement of two groups patients of the left ventricular ejection fraction of patients groups (LVEF) and left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDd),and compared serum Hcy and NT-proBNP levels,LVEF and LVEDd in different NYHA classification patients, analysis of serum Hcy and NT-proBNP levels and LVEF,LVEDd between correlation of serum Hcy levels on cardiovascular incident. Results CHF group of the Hcy,NT-proBNP levels and LVEDd were significantly higher than control group (P < 0.01),LVEF was significantly lower than the control group (t =31.78,P =0.00);different NYHA functional class (Ⅱ ~ Ⅳ level) of Hcy,NT-proBNP,LVEDd and LVEF compared were statistically difference (P < 0.01);Pearson correlation analysis showed,CHF patients with LVEF serum Hcy levels were negatively correlated (r2 =0.974,P < 0.01),with LVEDd was positively correlated (r2 =0.896,P < 0.05),and higher serum Hcy levels, the higher the rate of cardiovascular happened in patients with CHF.Conclusion The serum Hcy and NT-proBNP levels in patients with CHF were significantly higher than healthy, and with the deterioration of heart function and increased while the LVEF was negatively correlated positively with LVEDd,cardiovascular events in high Hcy levels may also increase the incidence risk,so Hcy levels is expected as a new diagnostic marker CHF conditions change.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(11):-
HMGB-1, an ubiquitously expressed 25-KD nucleoprotein among mammals, belongs to the HMG family. Recent studies have identified that HMGB-1 is secreted by activated monocytes/macrophages via a non-classical ,vesicle-mediated secretory pathway. Extracellular HMGB-1 is an important proinflammatory cytokine. It participates in the pathogenesis of many diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, sepsis , acute lung injury, and even leads animals death. Further studies of the mechanism and function of extracellular HMGB-1 may provide a novel strategy for the diagnosis and treatment of these diseases.

Targeted therapy means transporting drugs to certain tissue, aiming at increasing the utilization of drugs as well as reducing cytotoxicity.Chemotherapy drugs carried by carbon nanotube have high pharmaceutical activity and tumor control rate, compared with drugs alone.Carbon nanotube combined with immunotherapy drugs and nucleic acid can treat tumors at immunology and gene level.

Chinese Journal of General Surgery 1994;0(05):-
Objective To investigate micrometastasis in axillary lymph nodes and its relationship with nm23 expression of the tumor tissue in breast cancer patients. Methods Paraffin blocks of 832 surgically removed lymph nodes and carcinoma tissues from 52 lymph node negative cases comfirmed by routine pathology were re examined by immunohistochemical staining using monoclonal anti EMA and anti nm23 H1 respectively. Results Micrometastasis were observed in 12 of the 52 patients (23.0%) and in 34 of the 832 lymph nodes ( 4.1% ). The positive rate of micrometastasis that in the tumor larger than 2.0cm or poorly differentiated was significantly higher than in the tumor

Objective To investigate the effect of intratumor injection of 131 I 3H11 for gastric cancer (GC). Methods 16 patients with GC subjected to endoscopic intratumor injection of 131 I 3H11 as a treatment group; 6 GC patients with FAM chemotherapy as a control group. Histological examination of the postoperative specimens of the two group were comparated. Results In treatment group, 75.0%(12/16) of cases were found to have morphological changes with karyopyknosis, karyorrhexis, coagulation of cytoplasm, and invasion of lymphocyte in mesochyma. Most of these changes were medial; but in control group no obvious morphological change was found. Conclusions The results suggest that GC subjected to endoscopic intratumor injection of 131 I 3H11 preoperatively has promising application in the clinic.
