Chinese Medical Ethics 2017;30(7):859-862,868
Objective:To analyze the time consumption in the review of multicenter clinical trials and to explore the methods of improving the approval efficiency. Methods:We retrospectively analyzed 246 multicenter clinical trials approved by our hospital from 2012.Group A were trials that our hospital was the leading site while group B were those not.In group B,trials were divided into group B1 (conference review) and B2 (expeditedreview)according to the ethical review methods. Each group's ethical review time, contract signature time, starting experiment time, the total time consumption of review, and the time from the leading site approving to the participating site submitting application were analyzed. Results:In the review of multicenter clinical trials, contract signature cost the most time, accounting for 41%.There was no significant difference in terms of whether to be the leading site. The total time consumption of group B1 and group B2 was 180.94 days and 140.36 days (P <0.05),respec tively. The average ethical review time of group B1 was about 20 days longer than group B2 (P < 0.01).There were 96.54 days that the leading site submitted review materials to the participating site after approved. Conclusions:In multicenter clinical trials, for those the leading site has already approved, immediate submission to participating site and choosing the expedited review method may improve the ethical review efficiency, thereby shorten the total approval time consumption.

Microbiology 1992;0(06):-
Pseudomonas sp. TS1138 isolated from soil samples was able to form L-cysteine from DL-2-Amino-△2-Thia-zoline-4-Carboxylic Acid (DL-ATC) after cultured 16 hours . The optimum carbon and nitrogen soruces of strain growth and enzyme formation are glucose and urea. This enzyme was induced by DL-ATC. The product was identified to be L-Cysteine based on thin layer chromatography, optical rotation and HPLC studies.

Microbiology 1992;0(06):-
The L-ATC hydrolase and L-SCC amidohydrolase which convert L-ATC to L-cysteine in Pseudomonas sp.TS-1138 are purified about 83.9 and 90.3 fold by salting-out method, Sephadex G-75 gel chromatography, DEAE-cellulose 52 ion exchange and Sephadex G-100 gel chromatography, etc. The purified enzyemes are both demonstrated by SDS-PAGE to be a homogeneous protein. Their molecular weight are about 37.5kD and42.8kDa respectively. The optimum reaction temperature are both 35℃, and the optimum pH are 7.0 and 8.0 respectively. The Km of the two enzymes are 0.67 mmol/L and 0.15 mmol/L, and the Vmax are 0.39?10 -3mmol/L?min and 0.42?10 -3mmol/L?min respectively.

Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2012;32(3):257-260
Literatures on knee osteoarthritis treated by acupuncture both in China and abroad published in the mainstay periodicals in recent 10 years were selected, and analyses were done in the following aspects: (1) Randomization, (2) Control group, (3) Sample size, (4) Intervention measurements, (5) Intervention periods, (6) Evaluation on therapeutic effects, (7) Follow-up assessment, (8) Adverse effects, (9) Ratio of the lost case. The result indicates that differences can still be found on the trial designation in China and abroad. The domestic research design should be more comprehensively and strictly.

Objective To observe the sequence of fat deposit and its relationship with insulin resistance in SD rats fed by high fat diet. Methods Normal 8-week-old male SD rats were randomly divided into normal chow (NC,n=40)and high fat diet(HF,n=40)groups.Triglyceride(TG)in serum, liver and muscle were measured;glucose infusion rate(GIR)and the mRNA level of genes related to lipid metabolism in liver and muscle were determined in different stages.GIR was detected by eugiyeemic-hyperinsulinemic clamp for evaluating the insulin sensitivity.Gene expression was determined by real-time PCR.Results(1)As compared with NC group, serum TG was not increased after high fat feeding for4 and 8 weeks,it began to increase after 12 weeks [0.52(0.15-1.00) mmol/L vs O.31(0.09-0.53)retool/L, P0.05)in skeletal muscle. After 8 weeks, the expression of ACC1 in liver in HF group was increased by 20.6%,CPT-1 was decreased by 27.1%(P
