1. Experiments were conducted to compare the blood glutathione peroxi-dase activity of rats fed low selenium diets (0.0042 and 0.0084ppm Se) mainly composed of rice, corn and soybean grown in Keshan Disease endemic areas with that of rats fed the contrast diets (0.073 and 0.074 ppm Se) composed of the same grains grown in non-endemic areas and with that of rats fed stock diets (0.307 ppm Se). The enzyme activities of the endemic grain-feeding groups were lower than that of the non-endemic grain-feeding groups, but the enzyme activities of these groups were significantly lower than that of the stock diet group. The difference of the percentage of ascorbic acid-induced oxidation of hemoglobin to methemoglobin, choleglobin and Heinz bodies in vitro in different groups were in the same trend as that of the glutathione peroxidase activity.2. When rats were fed the low selenium diets for three months supplementing with sodium selenite, both the blood selenium levels and glutathione peroxidase activities were increased to the levels of the stock diet group within 50 days.

Objective To investigate the effect of liraglutide and metformin hydrochioride on overweight diabetic patients because of poor glycemic control. Methods Forty-four overweight patients with poor glycemic control were randomly divided to the control group, the liraglutide group and the metformin hydrochioride group.Patients in control group were given diet and exercise control,in liraglutide group and the metformin hydrochioride group were given subcutaneous injection liraglutide, metformin hydrochioride oral treatment respectively for 12 weeks.Body mass index(BMI),fasting blood glucose (FBG),2-hour postprandial blood glucose (2 hPBG) and glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) were measured. Results Compared with pretreatment,FBG,2 hPBG and HbA1c of patients in liraglutide group and metformin hydrochioride group were lower after treatment, and there was significant difference between the two group and the control group after treatment(P < 0.05).BMI of patients in liraglutide group was (24.61 ± 3.47) kg/m2,lower than of the control group((25.37 ± 4.70) kg/m2,P < 0.05).2 hPBG of patients in the liraglutide group was (7.13 ± 3.85)mtmol/L,lower than that of the metformin hydrochioride group ((8.03 ± 4.33) mtmol/L,P < 0.05).FBG level in metformin hydrochioride group ((6.31 ± 3.45) mmol/L) was lower than that of the liraglutide group ((6.98±2.97) mmol/L),but the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).Conclusion Liraglutide and metformin hydrochioride treatment can effectively reduce weight and blood sugar of the overweight diabetics. The effect of liraglutide to reduce postprandial blood glucose and weight of the patient is more significant than of metformin hydrochioride.

0.05).Conclusion Low dose mifepristones increase the number of CD_(56)~+ NK cells and the percentage of CD_3~-CD_(56)~+ CD_(16)~-NK subset, which might result in the disturbance of human endometrial immuno-mieroenviromnent during receptive phase and lead to imolantation failure.

Objective To investigate the imaging features and preoperative staging value of ultrasonic endoscopy and gastrointestinal ultrasonic contrast in the gastric carcinoma examination. Methods One hundred and sixty eight patients with gastric carcinoma verified by operation and pathology in our hospital from October 2010 to October 2015 werecollected. Then their imageological data including ultrasonic endoscopy and gastrointestinal ultrasonic contrast examinations were retrospectively analyzed and compared with the postoperative pathological results. Results The accuracy rate of preoperative T staging in ultrasonic endoscopy was significantly higher than that of gastrointestinal ultrasonic contrast, the difference had statistical significance(P<0.05);the accuracy rate of preoperative N/M staging in gastrointestinal ultrasonic contrast was s1gnificantly higher than that in ultrasonic endoscopy, the difference had statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion Ultrsonic endoscopy and gastrointestinal ultrasonic contrast have different advantages and values in preoperative staging:ultrasonic endoscopy has higher accuracy rate in the diagnosis of primary gastric carcinoma;gastrointestinal ultrasonic contrast is better in diagnosing metastasis of gastric carcinoma, moreover which shows the consistency with postoperative pathological staging.

Objective To investigate the effects of dexmedetomidine on hemodynamics and tra-cheal intubation facility in general anesthetized patients. Methods Forty gynecological patients of se-lective operation under general anesthesia were randomly arranged into 2 groups:group D and group C.With high flow mask oxygen inhalation(5 L/min),dexmedetomidine was intravenously pumped in-to the patients in group D at 0.6μg/kg in 10 minutes while in group C saline were given instead. Both groups were then proceeded with rapid sequence induction (RSI)immediately. The values of MAP, HR,PaO2 and PaCO2 were recorded every minute from pumping start till 15 minutes, the bucking, intubation time and glottis exposure were evaluated as well. Results No significant differences were found in intubation time or glottis exposure between these two groups. After tracheal intubation group D showed higher MAP value than group C at 14,15 minutes, and a lower HR value (P <0.05).Even no significant differences were found in values of SpO2 and PaO2 ,the group D showed less bucking than the group C (P<0.05).Conclusion Dexmedetomidine administration at 0.6μg/kg in RSI can diminish the variation in hemodynamics and facilitate the tracheal intubation by less buc-king,but no affect the oxygen reserve.

OBJECTIVETo study the effect of Yishen Daluo Decoction (YDD) on the expression of protein lipoprotein (PLP), oligodendrocyte transcription factor 1 (Olig 1), and oligodendrocyte transcription factor 2 (Olig2) in mice with experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE).
METHODSTotally 40 mice were randomly divided into 4 groups, i.e., the normal group, the model group, the Chinese medicine (CM) group, and the Western medicine (WM) group, 10 mice in each group. Each mouse in the model, CM, and WM groups was subcutaneously injected with 200 microL antigen emulsion (containing 150 micro g PLP139 -151 and 400 micro g H37RA) in two parts at the upper abdomen on the first day. 100 microLBordetella pertussis juice (containing 0. 6 x 10(6) Bordetella pertussis) was injected by caudal vein on the first and the third day. On the 7th day after modeling, each mouse in the normal group and the model group was intragastrically given normal saline (0. 1 mL/10 g). YDD (0. 2 g crude drug/10 g) was intragastrically given to mice in the CM group, and prednisone (0. 039 mg/10 g) was intragastrically given to mice in the WM group. All mice were intervened for 54 days. Changes of PLP, Olig1, and Olig2 in the brain tissue of EAE mice were detected by Western blot. Results The levels of PLP and Olig2 in the brain tissue of the model group were less than those of the normal group (P <0.05). Compared with the model group, the levels of PLP, Olig1, and Olig2 in the brain tissue increased in the CM group (P <0.05); the levels of PLP and Olig2 in the brain tissue increased in the WM group (P <0.05). Compared with the WM group, the level of Olig1 in the brain tissue increased in the CM group (P <0.05).
CONCLUSIONYDD could enhance remyelination by elevating the levels of Olig1 and Olig2 in the brain tissue of EAE mice.
