Purpose To investigate the value of 3.0T MR T1ρquantitative analysis in early detection of disc degeneration. Materials and Methods Conventional T2WI and T1ρwere collected in 35 healthy volunteers (male 16, female 19) on 3.0T MRI, and the classification of disc nucleus was performed by Pfirrmann classification. T1ρvalue of nucleus pulposus was measured and analyzed for the relationship among Pfirrmann classification, segmental and gender. Results There was a significant negative correlation between T1ρvalue and Pfirrmann grade (r=-0.542, P<0.001). T1ρvalue in L5/S1 segment (94.80±26.60) ms was significantly lower than that in L2/L3 (117.18±25.64) ms and L3/L4 (115.52±28.53) ms (P<0.01), and there was no significant difference among other segments (P>0.05);there was no gender differences among the T1ρvalue of each segment (t=0.006, 0.042, 0.797, 1.022, 0.038, P>0.05). Conclusion T1ρ value is closely related to the degree of disc degeneration, and T1ρimaging can be used as an objective, sensitive and effective tool for early detection of disc degeneration.

We aimed to make comprehensive cancer care guidelines of China according to American guidelines of National Comprehensive Cancer Network,Ametican Society of Clinical Oncology and Oncology Nursing Society,and to guide clinical nurses to study and draw lessons from foreign latest guidelines,and combined with the actual situation in our country.The results of study and application were advantageous to the nursing profession,the security and interests of the patients.We should develop comprehensive cancer care guidelines of our country,eventually make nursing practice guide system of China constantly improve and perfect.

Objective To explore the influencing factors during long-distance transportation and medical rescue of trauma patients in Wenchuan earthquake. Methods After Wenchuan earthquake, based on prehospital care scheme, we organized medical coordinators and psychologically trained medical staff in emergency medicine, cardiovascular medicine and logistics to transport trauma patients and pro-vide early psychological intervention during whole course of transportation. Results A total of 162 trauma patients were safely transported from Sichuan province to Chongqing relying on prehospital care scheme, equipment supplies, integrated rescue mode and psychological intervention during the transporta-tion. Conclusions Medical rescue mode and psychological intervention indicate that it is necessary to conduct psychological intervention for better transportation of patients for further medical treatments. In the meantime, we should establish medical rescue system for coping with psychological stress, improve rescue preparation scheme and professional medical care team for long-distance transportation and guaran-tee sufficient medical supplies in station hospitals.

Quantitative proteomics is a novel subject of proteomics research. There are several new techniques employed for the protein quantitative study. Isobaric tags for relative and absolute quantitation (iTRAQ) technology for protein quantitation using mass spectrometry is a recent powerful means of determining relative and absolute protein levels in up to four samples simultaneously. The iTRAQ reagent produced high quality, reproducible result in enriched complexes, organelles, and whole cell lysates. The status of the recent promising techniques and their possible future evolution were reviewed.

Objective: To investigate the prevalence and influencing factors of dyslipidemia among residents in Chengdu City, so as to provide insights into improving the prevention and control of dyslipidemia. Methods: Based on the baseline survey of the Natural Population Cohort Study in Southwest China, residents aged 30 to 79 years was selected from 34 towns (communities) in 5 counties (districts) of Chengdu City using the multi-stage stratified cluster random sampling method in 2018. Demographic information and lifestyle behaviors were collected through questionnaires. Blood pressure, fasting blood glucose, serum uric acid, total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) were collected through physical examination and laboratory tests. A multivariable logistic regression model was used to identify the factors affecting dyslipidamia. Results: A total of 21 113 participants were surveyed, including 9 331 males (44.20%) and 11 782 females (55.80%), and had a mean age of (50.80±12.32) years. The prevalence rate of dyslipidemia was 35.64%, and the prevalence rates of high TG, low-HDL-C, high TC and high LDL-C were 17.25%, 11.88%, 10.11% and 7.35%, respectively. Multivariable logistic regression analysis identified gender (male, OR=1.584, 95%CI: 1.463-1.716), age (50 to 79 years old, OR：1.221-1.444, 95%CI: 1.079-1.632), residence (urban, OR=1.123, 95%CI: 1.052-1.198), marital status (not married, OR=1.246, 95%CI: 1.128-1.376), educational level (high school and above, OR=0.914, 95%CI: 0.849-0.983), current smoking (OR=1.220, 95%CI: 1.121-1.327), drinking (1 to 2 d/week, OR=1.525, 95%CI: 1.368-1.700; 3 to 5 d/week, OR=1.857, 95%CI: 1.575-2.191; almost every day, OR=1.512, 95%CI: 1.269-1.801), sedentary time in leisure time (>2 h/d, OR=1.123, 95%CI: 1.046-1.206), central obesity (OR=2.212, 95%CI: 1.986-2.265), hypertension (OR=1.489, 95%CI: 1.388-1.598), diabetes (OR=1.998, 95%CI: 1.833-2.157) and hyperuricemia (OR=2.012, 95%CI: 1.848-2.192) as factors affecting dyslipidemia. Conclusion The prevalence of dyslipidemia among residents in Chengdu City was mainly associated with smoking, drinking, sedentary time, central obesity, hypertension, diabetes and hyperuricemia.

Background Primary open angle glaucoma(POAG) is a common type of glaucoma.It has been well known that a lot of factors are associated with the pathogenesis of POAG,but genetic factor plays a critical role.Optineurin (OPTN)gene is the second confirmed POAG-relevant gene,and screening its mutation in the population contribute to the deeply understanding of the pathogenesis of POAG.Objective The present study was to investigate the association between sequence variants of OPTN gene and POAG in Chinese patients.Methods DNA was isolated from peripheral blood of 100 POAG patients and 60 cataract individuals.The coding exons of OPTN gene were amplified by PCR.PCR products were then sequenced directly to assay the variants and contrasted to original sequence in GenBank.This study was approved by the Ethical Committee of Shenzhen Eye Hospital.All the subjects signed the written inform consent.Results A case-controlled study was designed.The mean intraocular pressure (IOP)of the POAG patients was (29.0±6.5)mmHg,and that of the cataract patients was (13.7 ±2.4)mmHg.Variant of synonymous coding T34T was found in 60 POAG patients.Genetic type frequencies of AA,GA and GG were 10％,50％ and 40％ in the POAG patients,and those of cataract patients were 0,25％ and 75％ respectively,showing significant difference between them (x2 =20.416,P =0.000).The allele frequencies of A and G were 35％ and 65％ in the POAG patients,and those of cataract patients were 12.5％ and 87.5％,with a statistically significant difference (x2 ＝ 19.464,P =0.000).The sequence changes of non-synonymous coding variants (M98K,691-692insA G,R545Q,H486R) were also found in both POAG and cataract patients,but no significant difference was seen in the genetype and allele frequencies between two groups (P＞0.05).Conclusions No obvious association of OPTN gene variant with POAG is verified.The variant of T34T maybe increase the risk of POAG.

OBJECTIVETo study the differences in the toxicity of vinegar-processed Kansui Radix on normal and cancerous ascites model rats.

METHODNormal and cancerous ascites model rats were taken as the research objects and orally administered with different doses of vinegar-processed Kansui Radix for 7 d. Pathological sections were prepared to observe the damages in liver, stomach, intestinal tissues in rats and detect the impacts on serum, liver, stomach and intestinal tissues and the oxidative damage index.

RESULTCompared with the blank group, all of normal administration groups and model groups showed significant damages in liver, stomach and intestinal tissues. Compared with the model groups, all of normal administration groups revealed notable alleviation in damages. Compared with the blank group, the model groups showed significant increases in AST, ALT and MDA in serum and liver (P < 0.01) and a significant decrease in GSH in serum and liver, stomach, intestinal tissues (P < 0.01). Compared with the blank group, the results showed significant decreases in ALT, AST in serum and ALT in liver in model low, medium and high dose groups and AST activity in liver tissues in the normal high dose group (P < 0.05, P < 0.01); significant decreases in GSH in serum and stomach tissues in normal low, medium and high dose groups and GSH content in liver and intestinal tissues in normal medium and high dose groups (P < 0.05, P < 0.01); notable rises in MDA in liver tissues in normal low, medium and high dose groups and MDA content in serum and stomach and intestinal tissues in normal medium and high dose groups (P < 0.05, P < 0.01). Compared with model groups, data revealed significant decreases in ALT, AST in serum in model low, medium and high dose groups, AST in liver tissues of model medium and high dose groups and ALT activity in liver in the model high dose group (P < 0.05, P < 0.01); significant increases in GSH content in serum and stomach tissues of model low, medium and high dose groups, GSH in liver tissues in model medium and high dose groups and GSH in intestinal tissues in the high dose groups (P < 0.05, P < 0.01); and notable declines in MDA content in serum in model low, medium and high dose groups, MDA in liver tissues of model medium and high dose groups and MDA in stomach and intestinal tissues the high dose group (P < 0.05, P < 0.01).

CONCLUSIONAccording to the study, vinegar-processed Kansui Radix showed a significant lower toxicity liver, stomach, and intestines of cancerous ascites model rats, which provided a basis for clinical safe application of vinegar-processed Kansui Radix based on symptom-based prescription theory.

To study the function of expelling water retention with drastic purgative of different polarities of Kansui Radix stir-baked with vinegar on the cancerous ascites model rats, the furosemide was taken as positive control drug, and the cancerous ascites model rats were respectively orally administered with different polarities of Kansui Radix stir-baked with vinegar for 7 d. The amount of urine and ascites, the level of urinary sodium, potassium, chloride ion and pH, and the content of PRL1, AII, ALD in serum were investigated. Compared with model groups, ethyl acetate extract group showed a decreasing trend in ascites; the amount of urine of showed a significant increase (P < 0.05); the level of urinary sodium, potassium, chloride ion (P < 0.05, P < 0.01), pH (P < 0.05), and the content of PRL1, AII, ALD in serum all showed a significant decrease (P < 0.01). The effects of petroleum ether extract and n-butanol extract were weaker than that of ethyl acetate extract. The water exact was the weakest. The results showed that ethyl acetate extract is the active part of Kansui Radix stir-baked with vinegar on the function of expelling water retention with drastic purgative on the cancerous ascites model rats, alleviating the water-electrolyte disorder and body fluid acid-base imbalance, regulating the renin angiotensin aldosterone system.

Objective To quantify aqueous flare and cells in the eyes of healthy subjects and to evaluate the effect of age and sex on the blood aqueous barrier. Design Prospective case series. Participants Four hundred and forty-two eyes of 221 healthy sub- jects. Methods Aqueous flare and cells of 442 eyes were evaluated with FC-2000 laser flare cell meter (LFCM). Main Outcome Mea- sures Aqueous flare and cells. Results The mean flare values of all of eyes was 4.7?2.9 pc/ms, it was 3.1 pc/ms in the age group of less than 10 years, 3.8 pc/ms in the age group of 40-49 years and 11.0 pc/ms in the age group of 80 years or over. AIMTo survey the uptake behavior and subcellular distribution of antisense oligodeoxynucleotide polymethacrylate submicroparticles (AS-ODN-SMP) and infer its mechanism in MGC cell lines.

METHODSMGC cells were incubated at certain concentration of AS-ODN-SMP or AS-ODN for 8 h at 4 degrees C or 37 degrees C. Then the fluorescence oligodeoxynucleotide- labeled cells were counted by flow cytometer and the intracellular fluorescence intensity was determined after incubated with chloroquine for 2 h.

RESULTSCellular uptake of oligodeoxynucleotides was significantly increased following application of AS-ODN-SMP and total intracellular fluorescence intensity was enhanced by 683 folds with the vehicle concentration of 20 microg x mL(-1). AS-ODN-SMP entranced to cells profoundly with temperature-dependent manner. Rare cells took on fluorescence when incubated at 4 degrees C, while 37 degrees C they were significantly increased. But the intracellular fluorescence intensity appeared same level in present or absent of chloroquine.

CONCLUSIONWith the help of polyacrylate submicroparticles, oligonucleotides efficiently entranced the cells via endocytosis and could successfully escape the degradation in lysosome.
