1. Portal vein stenting combined with transcatheter hepatic arterial chemoembolization in treatment of portal vein tumor thrombus in patients with primary hepatic carcinoma
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2006;27(7):771-773
Objective: To discuss the clinical outcomes of portal vein stenting combined with transcatheter hepatic arterial chemoembolization (TACE) in treating portal vein tumor thrombus in the patients with primary hepatic carcinoma (PHC). Methods: Eleven PHC patients with tumor thrombus in the main branch or trunk of the portal vein were treated with stenting and TACE simultaneously (or TACE were performed 1 week later). The successful rate of the procedure, the patency of the obstruction, the complications, the mortality and the survival periods were all recorded. Results: Portal vein puncture was successfully performed in all 11 cases and successful stenting was achieved in 10 cases. Hepatic encephalopathy combined with hepatic failure was noticed in 1 patient. The median patency period after stenting was 5.7 (1-18) months. The survival rates of patients at 3, 6 and 12 months after treatment were 5/11,4/ 11 and 2/ 11, respectively. Conclusion: Metallic stent implantation combined with TACE has satisfactory outcome in treating tumor thrombus in the main branch and trunk of the portal vein in PHC patients without distant metastases.

4.Role of Apoptosis in Acute Rejection of Pancreaticoduodenal Transplantation in Rats
Chinese Journal of Bases and Clinics in General Surgery 2004;0(01):-
Objective To investigate the roles of cell apoptosis and the gene expressions of Fas, FasL, bcl-2 and bax in acute rejection of pancreaticoduodenal transplantation and to evaluate the function of duodenum biopsy for early detection of rejection in rats. Methods Wistar and SD rats were divided into two groups: ①Wistar rats that underwent allogenic pancreaticoduodenal transplantation from the organs of SD rats; ②Wistar rats that received homogenic transplantation. The grafts were then harvested on day 3, 5 and 7 after the transplantation, and all graft samples were observed with HE staining and TUNEL was also used to detect apoptotic cells. The expressions of Fas, FasL, bcl-2 and bax were measured by immunochemical method. According to Nakhleh’s score, pathologic features of transplanted pancreas and duodenum were ranged from one to three scores in order. Results The percentage of same or different scores between the pathological scores of pancreas and duodenum in allogenic pancreaticoduodenal transplantation group were 61.1% (11/18) and 38.9% (7/18) respectively, and there were 6 specimens of pancreatic tissue got higher scores with only one higher score for duodenum. There were significant differences of histopathologic rejection scores and apoptotic indices between the two groups, respectively (P

China Pharmacy 2005;0(21):-
OBJECTIVE:To reduce the disputes between pharmacists and patients and to provide references for the improvement of relationships between pharmacists and patients. METHODS: The characteristics of emergency dispensary work and the reasons that accountable for the disputes between pharmacists and patients in the emergency dispensary were analyzed, and aimed at which, some countermeasures were put forward. RESULTS & CONCLUSION: Pharmacists should change their thoughts and attach importance to the cultivation of their language arts so as to improve their capability of dealing with the disputes between pharmacists and patients.

Tianjin Medical Journal 2015;(1):54-56
Objective To investigate the correlation between helicobacter pylori (H.pylori) infection with gastric muco?sa pathologic changes in chronic gastritis. Methods A total of 250 patients with chronic gastritis who came to Tianjin Union Medicine Center from November 2011 to March 2013 were collected in this study. Electronic gastroscope examina?tions, pathology and Urea-14C breath tests were performed in patients. There were 153 cases with chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG group), and 97 cases without chronic atrophic gastritis (non-CAG group). The positive rate of H.pylori was compared between two groups. At the same time the positive rate of H.pylori was compared between different parts of CAG patients. The positive rates of H.pylori were compared between different pathologic features of chronic gastritis (active degree, the de?gree of inflammation, atrophy and intestinal classification). Results The positive rate of H.pylori was higher in CAG pa?tients than that of non-CAG patients (70.6%vs 35%,χ2=30.552). The positive rate of H.pylori was higher in antral and cor?pus atrophy of CAG group than that of antral atrophy (82.6%vs 65.4%,χ2=4.578). With the aggravating activity of gastritis, the inflammation, chronic gastritis, atrophy and intestinal classification, the positive rate of H.pylori was increased (χ2=200.643, 206.715, 73.286, 218.432). Conclusion H.pylori infection is related with chronic gastritis, chronic atrophic gas?tritis. And antral and corpus atrophy CAG is closely related with H.pylori infection.

Objective To observe the impact of IL-1β on the expression of lectin-like oxidized LDL receptor 1 (LOX-1) and ATP-binding cassette transporter A1 (ABCA1) in human mesangial cell line (HMCL), and its association with cholesterol homeostasis of HMCL. Methods Levels of LOX-1 and ABCA1 of HMCL induced by IL-1β were examined by using real-time PCR and Western blot. Results IL-1β up-regulated LOX-1 mRNA and protein expression. Treated with 5 μg/L IL-1β, the levels of LOX-1 mRNA and protein reached the peak after 6 h and 24 h of stimulation and were 6.87 folds and 1.88 folds of control rspectively. The expression of ABCA1 mRNA and protein of lipid-loaded HMCL was down-regulated by IL-1β Stimulated with 5 μg/L IL-1β the expression of ABCA1 mRNA and protein decreased to the lowest level, 19.0% and 50.62% of the baseline respectively. Conclusions The expression of LOX-1 can be up-regulated while the expression of ABCA1 can be decreased by the stimulation of IL-1β. IL-1β can enhance dyslipidemia and influence the balance of cholesterol homeostasis of HMCL.
