ObjectiveTo survey the incidence of depression in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and explore the related factors.MethodsOne hundred and fifty-nine patients with RA were investigated.All of them were assessed by depression scale and Hamilton Depression Rating Scale.A mono-variate and multivariate Logistic regression analysis were carried out to determine the factors that best related to the occurrence of depression in RA.ResultsThe overall incidence rate was 39.6％.The regression analysis showed that factors related to the occurrence of depression in RA were HAQ-DI (OR=3.276,95％CI 1.315-7.814,P=0.003),the number of tender joints (OR=2.252,95％CI 1.117-3.362,P=0.029),low-income families (OR=1.629,95％CI 1.215-2.437,P=0.031 ) and serum CRP level (OR=1.528,95％CI 1.112-2.294,P=0.040).ConclusionDepression is common in patients with RA.Patients who havehigh HAQ-DI,CRP and from low-income families with more tender joints tend to develop depression.

Objective To explore the application of self-made guided wire operating-tray,which is designed for percutaneous tranluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA),in performing coronary intervention (PCI).Methods A total of 40 patients who were planned to receive PCI were randomly divided into the study group (n=20,using guided wire operating-tray) and the control group (n=20,using traditional method to operate guide wire).Under local anesthesia PCI was carried out in all patients of both groups.The frequency of guide wire winding,the degree of surgical sheet contamination within the operation area,and the comfort and convenience of operating guide wire were assessed,the results were compared between the two groups.Results The frequency of guide wire winding and the degree of surgical sheet contamination within operation area in the study group were remarkably lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05).The comfort and convenience of operating guide wire in the study group was better than that in the control group (P＜0.05).Conclusion In performing PCI,the use of self-made guided wire operating-tray can effectively avoid guide wire winding and reduce the degree of surgical sheet contamination within the operation area.

Ten compounds were isolated from the artificially induced dragon's blood of Dracaena cambodiana by various column chromatographies on silica and sephadex LH-20 gel. Based on spectral analysis of NMR and MS, their structures were identified as 3, 4-dihydroxyallylbenzene (1), 3', 4', 5'-trimethoxycinnamylalcohol (2), pinoresinol (3), (2R)-7, 4'-dihydroxy-8-methylflavane (4), (2R)-7,4'-dihydroxy-5-methoxy-8-methylflavane(5),(2S)-7,3'-dihydroxy-4'-methoxy-8-methylflavane(6) ,(2S)-4',7-dihydroxy-6, 8-dimethylflavane(7), 4,2',4'-trihydroxychalcone(8), 4,4'-dihydroxy-2-methoxydihydrochalcon(9) and Cambodianin E (10). Antibacterial activity assay showed that compounds 1, 4 and 10 have inhibitory effect on Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cuben, Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. niveum, Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. vasinfectum and Ralstonia solanacearum.

A research combined trickling filter system and active sludge aeration system was applied in the treatment of industrial wastewater from gas-generating with heavy oil. The wastewater contained both high contents of NH+4-N and mixed hydrocarbons including various PAHs. Its BOD5/COD ratio was less than 0.3 and belongs to recalcitrant, toxic wastewater. The results showed a touch-growth biofilms system was formed on the porous packing material and it played a key role in the decrease of toxicity of the influent. It could also improve the biodegradability of the wastewater.

Objective To study antibiotic resistance phenotypes and genotypes of extended spectrum ?-lactamases (ESBLs) and AmpC ?-lactamase-producing Klebsiella oxytoca isolated from specimens of respiratory tract in children.Methods Bacterial isolates were identified by API or VITEK32. Agar dilution was used for antibiotic susceptibility test,and ESBLs and AmpC were detected by confirmatory test recommended by CLSI/NCCLS and by 3-aminophenylboronic acid (APB) disk potentiation test, respectively.Microarray was used to determine the genotypes of ESBLs and AmpC ?-lactamases.Genotypes of Klebsiella oxytoca were determined by enterobacterial repetitive intergenic consensus (ERIC)- PCR.Results ESBLs were positive in 129 out of 165 isolates (78.2%).Both ESBLs and AmpC ?- lactamases were positive in 16 out of 165 isolates (9.7%).AmpC ?-lactamase alone producer was not detected in term of phenotype and genotype.CTX-M was the most common type of ESBLs and DHA was the only type of AmpC ?-lactamase in these isolates.Most antibiotic resistant strains of Klebsiella oxytoca possessed the same genotype by ERIC-PCR.Although all strains were susceptible to carbpenem,Klebsiella oxytoca with ?-lactamases were more resistant to other antibiotic agents than those without ?- lactamases.Conclusions There is high prevalence of ESBLs production among Klebsiella oxytoca isolated from children in Urumqi.The main genotypes of ESBLs and AmpC ?-lactamases are CTX-M and DHA.

ObjectiveTo explore the expression rule and clinic significance of Twist and E-cadherin and Vimentin in cervical squamous epithelial cancerization.MethodsChronic cervicitis were used as control group,the expression of Twist (using hybridization in situ),E-cadherin and Vimentin( SABC immunohistochemical stain) in tissues of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and cervical squamous carcinoma were detected,and the correlations were analyzed.ResultsThe positive rate of Twist in group of chronic cervicitis,CIN Ⅰ,CINⅡ,CIN Ⅲ and cervical squamous carcinoma was 10.0％,28.1％,29.6％,42.9％ and 64.3％,respectively.The expression rate of Twist in cervical squamous carcinoma group was higher than other groups ( P ＜ 0.05 ).The positive rates of E-cadherin and Vimentin were 80.0％,68.8％,55.6％,51.4％,39.3％ and 0,6.3％,7.4％,31.4％,32.1％,respectively.The difference of E-cadherin and Vimentin expression between the cervical squamous carcinoma ( or CIN Ⅲ group) and the chronic cervicitis group was obvious ( P ＜0.05,respectively).The expression of Twist was negatively correlated with E-cadherin( r =-0.37,P ＜0.01 ),and it was positively correlated with Vimentin in all cases of CIN and cervical squamous carcinoma( r =0.23,P ＜0.05).ConclusionsThere is a close relationship between abnormal expression of Twist and cervical squamous epithelial cancerization.Twist may participate in the genesis of cervical squamous carcinoma through mediating the expression of E-cadherin and Vimentin in cervix tissue.
