1.Advances in the study of mincle, a new C-type lectin receptor
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2013;(7):688-691
Macrophage-inducible C-type lectin (mincle receptor) is a novel unclassical C-type lectin receptor member, which is mainly expressed on the surface of antigen presenting cells.Under the stimulation of fungus, mycobacterium tuberculosis and necrotic cells, mincle receptor plays anatural immune effect in host body by binding to relevant ligand and activate nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) signaling pathway, which promotes the expression of many inflammatory factors.Up to now,the laboratory and clinical studies on mincle receptor and infected diseases is being a hot topic. However, these study is lack in ophthalmology.Understanding the association of mincle receptor to infected eye diseases will offer a new approach to the immunotherapy. The basic concept, acting mechanism, its relationship to inflammatory eye diseases and outlook in ophthalmology of mincle receptor were reviewed in this paper.
2. Effects of fertilization ratios of N, P, and K on yield and active ingredients of Angelica dahurica var. formosana from Sichuan Province
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2011;42(1):153-157
Objective: To study the effects of the applied amounts and their ratios of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K) on the yield and active ingredients of Angelica dahurica var. formosana from Sichuan Province. Methods: The field tests on N, P, and K ratios of A. dahurica var. formosana from Sichuan Province were carried out by using orthogonal combination design, the yield was weighted, and the imperatorin and isoimperatorin contents in its roots were determined by HPLC method. Results: The yield and the quality of A. dahurica var. formosana from Sichuan Province were extremely affected by different N, P, and K ratios. The yield was increased with N, P, and K, but for imperatorin and isoimperatorin content, the influence of different N, P, and K ratios is very different. The imperatorin content was increased with the moderate increase of N and P under the lower level of K (K2O 120 kg/hm2). The isoimperatorin content was increased with the moderate supplies of N and P ratios under the high level of K (K2O 240 kg/hm2). Whatever the ratios of P and K, the imperatorin content and isoimperatorin content are lower than that in the control treatment under the high level of N (195 kg/hm2). The orthogonal analysis of variance results also showed that the effects of N, P, and K on the yield reached extremely significant. The sequence of them was P > N > K.. The influence of N, P, and K on imperatorin all reached extremely significantly different level (P < 0.01). Among them, the effect of P and K was higher than that of N. But only N had significant influence on the contents of isoimperatorin (P < 0.05). The adapted combined application program was N 150 kg/hm2, P 2O5 225 kg/hm2, and K2O 120 kg/hm2, namely the ratio of N- P2O- K2O was 1.3:1.9:1, by which the highest yield and imperatorin content were obtained. There were significant difference compared with the control and its isoimperatorin content was the highest as well. Conclusion: The above ratios of N, P, and K could improve the yield and quality of A. dahurica var. formosana from Sichuan Province as well as the content of imperatorin and isoimperatorin.

Microbiology 1992;0(06):-
Quorum sensing is defined as the cell density-dependent regulation of gene expression, and the involved system is the quorum sensing system, in which N-acyl homoserine lactone is known as the signal molecules of most gram-negative organisms. It can regulate diverse physiological functions. This paper reviewed the quorum sensing systems and the recent advances which play a major role in the formation of the symbiosis between the rhizobia and their host plants.
4.Relationship between range of operative and postoperative ovary function in 55 endometriosis
Chinese Journal of Practical Gynecology and Obstetrics 2001;17(2):102-104
ObjectiveTo study the relationship between the range of operations and the incidence of climacteric syndrom, the time of episode, degree and estrogen level in endometriosis after operations. MethodsThesexual hormone level was measured and climacteric syndrome was followed up after operation in 55 endometriosis. ResultsThe incidence of climacteric syndrom in oophorectomy was more frequent and earlier than partial oophorectomy. Meanwhile, the syndrome was much severe and the level of E2 was lower in the former group than those in the later one. ConclusionSo we should retain the ovary tissue and blood supply as much as possible. 6 months postoperation is suggested to be suitable to begin hormone replacement therapy. The dosage should be adviced to remain the blood hormone level just like one ovary does.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(04):-
Objective To explore the surgical treatment of advanced rectal carcinoma in aged people. Methods The clinical data of 65 aged patients with advanced rectal carcinoma from 2000 to 2004 were analyzed retrospectively. Results All cases were Dukes D stage or accompanied with hepatic metastasis. Hartmann's operation was performed in 26 cases, single lumen sigmoidostomy in 11 cases, double lumen sigmoidostomy in 11 cases and resection of hepatic metastatic cancer in 12 cases. Rectal upper arterial catheter chemotherapy was performed in 19 cases and hepatic arterial catheter chemotherapy in 15 cases. The 3-year survival rate of Hartmann's operation was 34%(9/26), and the average survival time was 20?3.17 months in the patients underwent rectal upper and hepatic arterial catheter chemotherapy, and 10?1.77 months in the patients who could not be treated surgically(P

This study is to compare the influence of CYP2D6 *3 and *4 genotypes and phenotypes on the metabolic activity of CYP2D6 in Chinese Han, Uygur and Kazakh ethnic groups. Allele specific amplification (ASA) was used to determine the CYP2D6*3 and CYP2D6*4 genotypes. Phenotypes of CYP2D6 in all subjects were determined using dextromethorphan as probe drug by HPLC methods. Among the 132 Han subjects, one subject (0.76%) exhibited the *1/*3 combination, and one (0.76%) exhibited the *1/*4. Among the 136 Uygur subjects, 4 subjects (2.94%) showed the *1/*3 combination, 12 (8.82%) showed *1/*4, 4 (2.94%) showed *4/*4, and one (0.74%) showed *3/*4. Among the 116 Kazakh subjects, 2 (1.72%) exhibited the *1/*3 combination, 7 (6.03%) exhibited *1/1*4, and one (0.86%) showed *4/*4. This research revealed significant differences in the occurrence frequencies of the CYP2D6 genotype between Han and Uygur ethnic groups, as well as between Uygur and Kazakh populations. However, no difference was found between Han and Kazakh populations. In addition, the prevalence of PMs of the Uygur is comparable to that of the Caucasians. However, the molecular mechanism underlying the poor metabolism is different in these two populations.
