1.Establish of animal model of nonarteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2013;(1):91-95
Nonarteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION)is a common optic neuropathy seriously affecting the visual function in the middle-aged and elderly population. However, its pathogenesis is not completely clear, and therefore its treating efficacy is dissatisfactory. The current study on NAION is focused on the establishment of suitable animal model and the pathogenesis. In recent years, the relatively ideal animal models(including rodent and primate) have been established by photodynamic methods, which make people have more in-depth understanding on the pathophysiologic mechanism of NAION and lay the basis for the research of therapies. The selection of experimental animals, various induction methods and existing problems in the creation of NAION animal model were reviewed and analyzed in this artical.

Chinese Medical Ethics 2016;29(4):606-608
Based on three aspects of academic research, academic morality and academic publication, this pa-per discussed the ethical quality that medical journal editors should possess. Medical knowledge and knowledge of medical ethics are the basic ethical qualities that a good medical editor should possess. Editor should strictly control the manuscript process, abide by the professional ethics, and contribute to the fast and correct spread of medical information.

Progress in Modern Biomedicine 2008;8(5):924-927
Based on signal to noise ratio and probabilistic neural network method associated with experimental data, all analysis model in gastric carcinoma is presented.According to the available information, the samples of gastric carcinoma can be tested and ana.Lyzed.The signal to noise ratio is first calculated.Secondly, records in the database are chosen as a training set to build a probabilistie neural network model and the feature subset is selected according to accuracy. Finally, test set is to test accuracy of model. The model is implemented using MATLAB,and it can be generalized and applied to similar disease auxiliary diagnosis region.

This study was aimed to explore the characteristics of urine metabolomics among HIV/AIDS patients with spleen-lung qi-deficiency. H-NMR technique was combined with principal component analysis and cluster analysis in the comparison of urine metabolic products among 24 HIV/AIDS cases with spleen-lung qi-deficiency and 20 healthy control cases. The results showed that urine metabolic products of HIV/AIDS patients with spleen-lung qi-deficiency and healthy people by H-NMR technique detection and PLS-DA analysis can classify the outline of urine metabolites. There were about 20 variables in the difference between two groups. The speculated substances contained glycyl-L-leucine, L-valine, α-aminobutyric acid, methyl succinic acid, glycine propionyl, and etc. It was concluded that H-NMR technique was able to classify the outline of urine metabolites between HIV/AIDS cases with spleen-lung qi-deficiency and healthy people. Part of the potential existed characteristic markers contributed to the clinical diagnosis of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome differentiation of AIDS. It had certain effect in its quantitative analysis.

Bel1, a transactivator of prototype foamy virus (PFV), plays pivotal roles in the replication of PFV. Previous studies have shown that Bel1 bears a nuclear localization signal (NLS), but its amino acid sequence remains unclear and the corresponding importins have not been identified. In this report, we inserted various fragments of Bel1 into an EGFP-GST fusion protein and investigated their subcellular localization by fluorescence microscopy. We found that the 215PRQKRPR221 fragment could direct nuclear localization, which accords with the consensus sequence K(K/R)X(K/R) of monopartite NLS. Point mutation experiments revealed that K218, R219, and R221 are essential for the nuclear localization of Bel1. The results of the GST-pulldown showed that the Bel1 fragment with residues 215-223, which bears the NLS, interacts with KPNA1, KPNA6, and KPNA7. This result suggests that KPNA1, KPNA6, and KPNA7 maybe involved in Bel1 nuclear translocation.

Chinese Medical Ethics 2017;30(5):655-658
The basic principles of medical ethics included respect and autonomy, beneficial and nonmaleficence, informed consent and confidentiality, impartiality and mutual assistance.During medical journal editing, medical ethics principles should be strictly applied.Focused on two types of medical thesis, medical scientific research and clinical trials, this paper concluded the ethics issues related to experimental animals, cells and gene researches, all these should be noticed in manuscripts.Meanwhile, this paper analyzed the ethics principles about contrast set and the use of placebo that should be abided in clinical trial, and the respects of patients'privacy during clinical observation, etc. Some review key points were put forward from the perspective of editors.
