OBJECTIVE:To establish and compare the HPLC characteristic Spectrum Erycibe obtusifolia from different habi-tats. METHODS:HPLC was performed on the column of Hypersil ODS C18 with the mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.1% phosphoric acid at flow rate of 1.0 ml/min,detection wavelength was 347 nm,the column temperature was 30℃and the sample size was 20μl. 12 different batches of samples were determined and the characteristic spectrums of those were established. TCM fingerprint evalu-ation software(2004 edition)was used to evaluate the similarity of 12 batches of samples. RESULTS:10 characteristic peaks were identified in the characteristic spectrum of E. obtusifolia. Peak 3 was scopolamine glycosides, peak 4 was chlorogenic acid and peak 6 was scopoletin. The similarities of 10 batches of samples were proved to be higher than 0.90 and 2 batches were proved to be less than 0.90. CONCLUSIONS:The method is simple, accurate and reproducible, and can provide scientific evidence for effectively controlling the internal quality standards.

Globozoospermia is a rare and serious teratozoospermia, which is one of the important causes contributing to human male infertility. The assisted reproductive technique remains the only means for such patients to produce offspring. However, the pathogenesis of globozoospermia is not yet clear. In recent years, related studies have shown that some genes are connected with the onset of globozoospermia. This paper outlines the progress in the studies of pathogenicity genes, aiming to contribute to the molecular diagnosis and mechanism investigation of the disease.

China Pharmacist 2015;(2):301-306
DPP-4 inhibitors are new oral hypoglycemic drugs and hot spots developed and launched in recent years, and they pro-vide new choices for the clinical treatment of type 2 diabetes. In China, DPP-4 inhibitors that are approved to use in the treatment of type 2 diabetes are all imported products currently. In the paper, the current intellectual property situation of DPP-4 inhibitors that are developed and approved at home and abroad is researched and analyzed. Reasonable use of the patent information of DPP-4 inhibitors that is about to expire or have failed can provide good guidance for the subsequent development of DPP-4 inhibitors in domestic with promising curative effect and good market prospects, and can generate new patents in order to enhance the market competitiveness.

The spores suspension of Streptomyces roseosporus D-38 irritated with 20mW He-Ne laser for 20 min were incubated on G1 medium plates containing 1. 9?g/mL of streptomycin. Ten percent of mutants increased the potency of daptomycin by streptomycin-resistance method, including the mutant LC-54, which could produce daptomycin 81. 2 mg/L, which was 39% higher than that of the beginning strain by flask fermentation.

Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of intravoxel incoherent motion diffusion weighted imaging (IVIM-DWI) and dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI)in differentiating non-metastatic from metastatic mesorectal lymph nodes in rectal cancer.Methods IVIM-DWI and DCE-MRI were performed preoperatively in 38 patients with histologically proven rectal carcinoma.The short axis diameter,short-to-long axis diameter ratio,four IVIM-based parameters (ADC,D,D? and f) and six DEC-MRI semi-quantitative parameters (Slope,Maxslope,CER,Washout,TTP,iAUC90 and iAUC180 )were compared between the metastatic (n=28)and non-metastatic (n=27)lymph nodes.Results There were significant statistical significances between the metastatic and non-metastatic lymph nodes in mean short axis diameter (8.87 mm±2.829 mm vs 6.83 mm±1.075 mm),D value[(0.824±0.1 13)× 10 -3 mm2/s vs (1.033±0.244)× 10 -3 mm2/s],CER(1.588 ±0.664 vs 1.054 ±0.41 9),iAUC90 (22.89 ± 9.83 vs 13.59 ± 5.34)and iAUC1 80 (49.38±20.1 9 vs 30.31 ± 1 1.67)(P ≤0.001).The short-to-long axis diameter ratio,ADC,D? ,f,Slope,Maxslope,Washout and TTP values did not show significant differences between the two groups(P >0.05).The respectively optimal cut-off value (area under the curve,sensitivity and specificity)for distinguishing metastatic from non-metastatic lymph nodes were as follows:short axis diameter=7.1 mm(0.744,64.2%,85.1%),D=0.906×10 -3 mm2/s (0.821,81.5%,75.0%),CER=1.05(0.749,85.7%,62.9%), iAUC90 =13.42(0.780,85.7%,62.9%),iAUC180 =49.65 (0.770, 50.0%,100%)respecyively.Conclusion Both IVIM-DWI and DCE-MRI are useful for differentiating non-metastatic from metastatic mesorectal lymph nodes in rectal cancer.

Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics of the results of coronary artery CT angiography and coronary artery angiography in 36 patients with probable positive results of treadmill exercise test(TET).Methods Thirty-six patients due to chest pain received 1ET and coronary artery CT angiography and coronary artery angiography in 2 weeks after admission. The coronary plaques were categorized as noncalcified and calcified plaque on CTA images. Results In 36 patients with probable positive results of TET.23 patients were confirmed as coronary artery disease by coronary artery angiography, and the other 13patients had normal coronary artery.Of 23 coronary artery disease patients,9 patients were presented as onevessel disease,5 patients were presented as two-vessel disease, and 9 patients were presented as three-vessel disease,29 non-calcified plaques and 23 calcified plaques were demeted On CTA.Conclusion TET was useful in confirming the diagnosis of coronary artery disease. The characteristics of the coronary artery plaque is correlated with probable positive results of TET.

OBJECTIVETo measure the volumetric changes of gray and white matters in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy(TLE)using voxel-based morphometric study(VBM)and correlate the changes with clinical parameters.
METHODSA total of 71 TLE patients were enrolled in the study, and 22 healthy subjects served as normal controls. Routine brain MRI and 3D fast spoiled gradient echo(FSPGR)T1-weighted images of all the subjects were acquired. The 3D structural images were co-registered,segmented and smoothed, and then the images were analyzed using the optimized VBM with preprocessed using Diffeomorphic Anatomical Registration using Exponentiated Lie algebra(DARTEL)algorithm. The global and local gray matter and white matter volume of each subject were calculated and compared between the TLE patients and normal controls. The potential correlations between the changes of the global and local gray and white matters in the TLE patients and the clinical parameters including the age at onset and the duration of epilepsy were explored.
RESULTSCompared to the normal controls, the TLE patients had diffuse volumetric reduction of gray and white matters in cerebrum both ipsilateral and contralateral to the seizure focus(P<0.05). Local gray matter reduction was found extensively in bilateral cerebral lobes, especially in the temporal and frontal lobes. Local white matter reduction was found in bilateral temporal, parietal and frontal lobes,in addition to the cingulate gyrus. The global gray matter volume(Global GMV)and the global white matter volume(Global WMV)were negatively correlated to the duration of epilepsy with the most significant change occurring in the first year of epilepsy. Global WMV dropped more quickly than Global GMV during the prolonged disease course.
CONCLUSIONSTLE patients have diffuse gray matter and white matter reduction, particularly in the early stage of epilepsy. The reduction of the white matter is more obvious than the gray matter.
