Objective To investigate the relative risk factors of glucose metabolism disorder in newborn infants.Methods Clinical information of 791 newborns suffered from glucose metabolism disorders who had been hospitalized in NICU from Jan.2004 to May 2007 were analyzed retrospectively.Four hundred and thirty-nine cases presented with hypoglycemia,275 cases presented with hyperglycemia,and 77 cases presented with both hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia.Data of risk factors were processed with both ?2 test and multiple Logistic regression analysis.Results The statistic analysis showed that low birth weight[258 cases(58.77%)],asphyxia[217 cases(49.43%)],acidosis[146 cases(33.26%)],hypothermia[128 cases(29.16%)],maternal gestational hypertension[83 cases(18.91%)],pneumonia[63 cases(14.35%)],anomaly of placenta[35 cases(7.97%)],maternal diabetes[17 cases(3.87%)] and septicaemia[10 cases(2.28%)]were significant hypoglycemia risk factors(according to the level of morbidity).Pneumonia[98 cases(35.64%)],asphyxia[129 cases(27.23%)],hypoxemia[61 cases(22.18%)]and septicaemia[24 cases(8.73%)]were significant hyperglycemia risk factors.Acidosis[33 cases(42.86%)],pneumonia[27 cases(35.06%)]and maternal diabetes[6 cases(7.79%)] were significant risk factors for neonates with both hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia.Conclusion Dynamic monitoring of blood glucose concentration and reasonable adjustment is recommended for neonates with risk factors to lower morbility and mortality.

Objective To investigate the role of nursing intervention in the prevention of premature rupture of the membrane infection. Methods 131 patients with premature rupture of the membrane were divided into the control group(65 cases) and the experimental group(66 cases), they adopted routine nursing method and nursing intervention respectively. The duration of pregnancy, fetal condition and laboratory tests for infection were compared between two groups. Results No significant differences were found between the two groups in terms of age, duration of pregnancy, newborn weight. Significant differences were observed in Apgar score, newborn death between two groups. Conclusions Monitoring for signs of premature rupture of the membrane such as infection and laboratory tests are important for the prevention of infeclion, if infection occurs, delivery may be necessary to prevent further complications.

Cancer stem cells is a small fraction of cells exist in cancers and own the same characteristics of stem cells. It has recently been shown that cancer stem cells in some tumours contain lower reactive oxygen species(ROS) levels and enhanced ROS defence radioresistance. The DNA damage induced by p53 tumor suppressor protein is associated with self cancer stem cells. We have reviewed the biological characteristics including self- renewal, drug resistance, heterogeneity and so on. As to the genesis of the cancer stem cells,some researchers believe that they arise from normal adult stem cells, progenitor cells or mutation of somatic cells, while others consider that cancer stem cells are derived from cell fusion and so on.

Objective:To investigate the mechanism of immunoglobulin Y antibodies(IgY) against tumour necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α) and Interleukin-1beta(IL-1β) in treating allergic bronchial asthma through nebulization inhalation.Methods:The allergic bronchial asthma model was established with Hartley guinea pig by ovalbumin nebulizating inhalation.The animals were randomly divided into 4 groups: normal control group(group A)，allergic bronchial asthma group(group B),0.1% anti-TNF-α and IL-1β IgY treating group(group C),1.0% anti-TNF-α and IL-1β IgY treating group (group D).The animals were killed after treatment being accomplished for 2 h,4 h,8 h,24 h and the lungs were made pathological,which were then stained by hematoxylin-eosin(H.E.).The bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) was collected and the deposited cells were stained by Wright's.Results:①The histological appearance of lung: In group B the histological structure of alveolar ducts and alveolar walls was damaged,the alveolar space was full of transudate and lots of alveolar epithelial cells and leucocytes.The pulmonary interstitial edema,inflammatory cells infiltration,distorted or dilated capillaries and reducing capillary numbers of effective blood stream were observed in alveolar walls.In group C and group D the damage degree of alveolar ducts and alveolar wall was slighter than that in group B and there were few inflammatory cells in alveolar space.In bronchial lumen and pulmonary alveoli the sticky mucus plug was obviously less in group C and group D than in group B.Moreover,inflammatory cell infiltration was seldom observed aroud bronchia,and restoration of bronchial tunica mucosa epithelium was obviously observed in group C and group D.②The cytology appearance of BALF: In group C and group D the numbers of eosinophils,neutrophils,lymphocytes were significantly fewer （2 h,4 h,8 h,P＜0.05）,however,the number of macrophage was significantly more（2 h,4 h,8 h,P＜0.05）than in group B.Conclusion:The anti-TNF-α and IL-1β IgY can obviously alleviate pathological extent of inflammatory reaction in allergic bronchial asthma of guinea pigs by nebulization inhalation therapy.The therapeutic effect of anti-TNF-α and IL-1β IgY between 0.1% and 1.0% concentration is not obvious difference for pathology changes.

Objective To explore the correlation between maternal serum total bile acid (TBA) of pregnant women with intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP) and varying degrees of neonatal lung injury.Methods A total of 52 cases of pregnant women with ICP and their corresponding newborns were enrolled into the ICP group from March 2014 to December 2015 in the People's Hospital of Shapingba District.Other 52 cases of pregnant women received cesarean delivery whose gestational age and birth weight of newborns were close to the ICP group and their corresponding newborns were selected as the control group.The conditions of neonatal lung injury were recorded,and the correlations of maternal serum level of TBA and exposure time of high serum level of TBA to degrees of lung injury were analyzed as well.Results The incidence rate of neonatal lung injury in the ICP group (67.3 ％) was higher than that in the control group (17.3 ％),there was statistically significant difference (P＜0.05).The degree of lung injury was positively correlated with maternal serum level of TBA and exposure time of high serum level of TBA (r=0.687,P=0.000;r=0.523,P=0.001).Conclusion The probability of neonatal lung injury of corresponding pregnant women with ICP is significantly increased,and the extent of lung injury is positively correlated with concentration of maternal serum TBA and exposure time of high serum level of TBA.

Objective To evaluate the value of the use of fibrin glue in radical mastectorny for breast cancer. Method 52 patients with breast cancer were divided randomly into two groups. In one group (27 patients) fibrin glue was used during radical mastectomy, while in the other group (25 patients), fibrin glue was not used. Objective To study the alterations in neurobehavior of rats with diffuse axonal injury(DAI) and to evaluate the potential role of basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF). Methods A weight-drop device was employed to build the DAI model.An injection of bFGF subdurally and subcortically was given to the bFGF therapeutic group(n=60).Besides,normal control(n=20) and injured control group(n=60) were established.The elevated walkway test,prehensile traction test,sensorimotor integration test and the Morris' water maze test were adopted to examine the motor and memory abilities.After the implantation of skull electrodes,P3-like potential was explored in rats before and after injury.
