Objective To observe the influence of individualized health eduction on the metabolic index in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and thus explore the effective measures of altering life style of patients.Methods The health education plan was made by nurses specialized in diabetes mellitus in 58 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in a manner of one nurse to one patient.Metabolic indexes such as BMI,FPG,2hPG and HbAlc were observed after the execution of the plan.Results BMI,FPG,2hPG and HbAlc were all loweled 6 months and 12 months after the execution of the plan compared with those baseline values of these indexes,and more than 90％ patients could persist in the dietary and physical treatment.Conclusions Individualized health education can alter the metabofic indexes of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus better.The way of one to one can enhance the effectiveness of the education,make the patients culture good life style by themselves and thus delay the occurrence and development of chronic complications associated with diabetes mellitus.

Objective To explore the effect of celecoxib on proliferation and apoptosis of the glioma cells. Methods The glioma cell U251 was used and disposed with different densities of celecoxib (0 μmol/L, 10 μmol/L, 20 μmol/L, 40 μmol/L and 80 μmol/L) for 24 h, 48h and 72 h. The methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) assay was used to detect the tumor cell proliferation and flow cytometry was used to detect the tumor cell apoptosis rate. Results The Glioma U251 cells proliferation were significantly decreased with the increase of density of celecoxib in vitro, and there was significant difference in the inhibited rate in different density and different time (P<0.05). The apoptosis rate was higher in the density of 80 μmol/L (17.86%) than in that of 0 μmol/L (11.23%) (P<0.05). Conclusion Celecoxib can inhabit the proliferation of glioma U251 cells, and promote the apoptosis especially with the density of 80 μmol/L.

Objective To testify the screening function of stachyose on soil bacteria by investigating the bacterial culture in ammonium stachyose medium. Methods The turbidimetry was used to determine the absorbance of microbial suspension at 600 nm per 2 h under the same initial concentration of the microbial suspension and to draw their growth curves. Results Most of soil bacteria utilized stachyose ineffectively, while only a few of them grown well in ammonium stachyose medium. Conclusion Since the major soil bacteria can not take stachyose fully as their energy resources, the species and quantity of rhizobacteria may decrease largely and only a few that utilized stachyose better can develop vigorously. Those rhizobateria with better utilization of stachyose may multiply so rapidly as potential ones in the rhizosphere of Rehmannia glutinosa that the disequilibrium of soil microorganism appears.

AlM: To evaluate the effectiveness of Spot Vision Screener on vision screening of children without cycloplegia.METHODS:A total of 87 children (174 eyes) aged from 2~9 years old were examined with Spot Vision Screener and optometrist before cycloplegia.RESULTS: Statistical analysis demonstrated that the cylinder diopter and axis, the equivalent spherical diopter in both eyes, and the spherical diaopter in left eye had no significant change ( P>0. 05 ). However, the spherical diaopter in right eye had statistical significance. CONCLUSlON: Spot Vision Screener is a suitable instrument in vision screening of children without cycloplegia.
