Objective To build rat orthotopic liver transplantation model and use this model as an experimental animal model for further research about liver transplantation. Methods Based on the classic two-cuff technique,a variety of skills were integrated, such as abdominal aorta perfusion first before ligation, suprahepatic inferior vena cava single continuous suture, preoperative and postoperative rehydration, hepatic portal vein and infrahepatic vena cava blocked by mosquito's haemostatic forceps. At last, the postoperative survival rates of 2 days and 2 weeks were recorded. Results Donors' operation time was (35±2) min, cuffing time was (7.0±1.5) min, receptors' operation time was (80±15) min, anhepatic phase was (21±3) min.The 2-day survival rate was 92 % (46/50) and 2-week survival rate was 86 % (43/50).Conclusion To some extent, the improved methods can not only reduce the difficulty of orthotopic liver transplantation operation, but also to create a uniform, stable and reliable orthotopic liver transplantation model.

Objective To investigate the relationship between disease activity and osteocalcin,β-isomerized C-terminal telopeptides (β-CTX) in SAPHO syndrome. Methods We studied 58 cases who were diagnosed as SAPHO syndrome. The following indices used to assess the activity of SAPHO were measured:Bath ankylosing spondylitis Disease activity index (BASDAI),Bath ankylosing spondylitis functional index(BASFI),visual analogue scale (VAS) pain and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR),C-reactive protein (CRP),osteocalcin and β-CTX.The SAPHO patients were divided from two groups according to the disease activity. The relationships were analyzed with t-test and Pearson's test. Results The β-CTX of the active group(0.43±0.20) ng/ml was elevated than the stable group (0.23 ±0.09) ng/mL (t=-4.620,P=0.007).And there was no significant difference in the osteocalcin between the active group (2.7±1.0) μg/L and the stable group(2.4±1.0) μg/L (t=-1.169,P=0.820).There was no significant correlation between the serum osteocalcin and ESR or hypersensitive CRP (hs-CRP) (rESR=0.228,PESR=0.088;rhsCRP=-0.085,PhsCRP=0.528).And β-CTX level was related to the VAS (r=0.496,P<0.01),BASDAI (r=0.401,P=0.002) and BASFI (r=0.295,P=0.025).While no significant relationship between the osteocalcin and pain index was observed in our study. Conclusion The positive correlation between serum β-CTX and disease activity indicates significant bone absorption during the bone destroy process in SAPHO syndrome.

Objective To investigate the association between obesity and benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH).Methods A total of 253 men (>40 year old) with no obesity related diseases were selected.Medical history, height, body weight, waist circumference (WC),body fat ratio, blood pressure, fasting blood glucose, blood lipid and prostate ultrasound were evaluated. The participants were then assigned to the normal group (body mass index 18.5 to 23.9 kg/m2),overweight group (24.0 to 27.9 kg/m2) and obesity group (≥28 kg/m2).The subjects were also divided into the normal group (WC<85 cm) and abdominal obesity group (WC≥85 cm) or normal group (body fat ratio≤25%) and excessive body fat ratio group (>25%).Prostate volume was analyzed in each group. Results The prostate volume was significantly different between the normal body mass index group and overweight or obesity groups, normal WC group and abdominal obesity group, and normal body fat ratio group and excessive body fat ratio group. The prostate volume was increased in individuals with higher body mass index,WC and body fat ratio.Of those with body mass index≥24 kg/m2 and normal WC or body fat ratio, the incidence of BPH was not significantly increased. Conclusion Obesity may be a risk factor for BPH; individuals with increased WC and body fat ratio may have a higher risk of BPH.

OBJECTIVE:
To explore the conversion of resin monomer, the change of inorganic component and the influencing factors on the oxygen inhibition layer formed on the cured surface of resin cement.
METHODS:
Three kinds of resin cement were divided into three groups: (1) light-cured group: RelyX Veneer, NX3 (light-cured), Variolink N; (2) dual-cured group: RelyX U200 Automix, NX3 (dual-cured), Multilink Speed; (3) chemically-cured group, and the above 3 types of dual-cured resin cement cured without illumination could be used as chemically-cured resin cement. Each sample was provided with and without oxygen exposure of two matching surfaces, cured respectively, and the variables of light intensity and illumination time were set in the light-cured group and the dual-cured group. Scanning electron microscopy was used to observe the samples' surface morphology. Energy dispersive spectrometer was used to analyze the samples' composition of surface elements. Confocal Raman spectroscopy was used to measure the monomer conversion of resin cement and to obtain the thickness of the oxygen inhibition layer.
RESULTS:
(1) On the surface of cured resin cement, the weight percentage of oxygen element in the aerobic side was higher than that in the anaerobic side (P < 0.05), and the weight percentage of inorganic element was lower than that in the anaerobic side (P < 0.05). (2) The surface monomer conversion of the cured resin cement on the aerobic surface was significantly lower than that on the anaerobic surface (P < 0.05), and the surface monomer conversion on the aerobic surface and the anaerobic surface was the lowest in the chemically-cured group (P < 0.05), the dual-cured group was the highest (P < 0.05), and the light-cured group was between them. With the increase of light intensity or illumination time, the surface monomer conversion increased (P < 0.05). (3) The thickness of the oxygen inhibition layer was the thickest in the chemically-cured group [(40.27±2.81) μm](P < 0.05), the thinnest in the dual-cured group [(21.87±5.42) μm](P < 0.05) and light-cured group [(23.73±3.84) μm] was between them. With the increase of light intensity or illumination time, the thickness of the oxygen inhibition layer of resin cement decreased (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSION
When resin cement is exposed to oxygen, it will form an oxygen inhibition layer, its surface's inorganic filler is less, the surface monomer conversion is lower. The surface monomer conversion and the thickness of oxygen inhibition layer are affected by curing mode and illumination factors.

ObjectiveTo observe the curative effect of galvanoiontophoresis combined with ultrashort wave therapy on cervical vertebrae disease-derived arrhythmia.Methods112 patients with cervical vertebrae disease-derived arrhythmia were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group with 56 cases in each group. All patients of two groups were treated with antiarrhythmia drug, Sibelium and traditional Chinese medicine. While, the patients of the treatment group were added with galvanoiontophoresis combined with ultrashort wave therapy to eliminate the aseptic inflammation.ResultsThe cure rate and total effective rate of the treatment group were 51.8% and 94.6%. Those of the control group were 16.1% and 76.8%. The effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group significantly ( P<0.01).ConclusionThe galvanoiontophoresis combined with ultrashort wave therapy has a better effect on cervical vertebrae disease-derived arrhythmia.

Methods Specimens from renal biopsies of 10 CAAN patients with serum creatinine level of (309. 41 ? 164. 44) ?mol/L were performed to examine the extent of renal interstitial fibrosis by Masson staining, the expression of collagen types Ⅰ and Ⅲ by sirius red staining, and the expression of cytokeratin(CK), ?-smooth muscle actin (a-SMA), vimentin (Vim) and transforming growth factor-? 1 (TGF-?1) by immunohistochemical staining. Quantitative analysis by computer image analytic system or semi-quantitative analysis were used to evaluate the data. Results There was positively significant correlation between interstitial collagen types Ⅰ and Ⅲ and serum creatinine level ( r =0. 890, P
