Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(09):-
Objective To investigate the infection of chlamydiae trachomahs(CT) and myoplasmas in urogenital tract and antibiotic susceptibility of cultured genital myoplasmas. Methods 5095 patients with urogenital tract infection were detected with mycoplasma identification susceptibility testing reagent kit,and the drug susceptibility to eight antibiotics of ureaplasma urealyticum (Uu) and mycoplasm hominid (Mh) were tested by broth microdilution method. And chlamydiae trachomatis was examined by golden standard method. Results In 5095 cases, 417cases(8 2%) were infected with chlamydiae trachomatis, and the infective rate in woman(11 2%) was statistically higher than that in man(6 2%). 1728 cases(33 9%) were infected with mycoplasma, and the infective rate in woman(43 0%) was statistically higher than that in man(28 0%).The cases infected with simple UU(1251,24 6%) were more than that in the cases infected with simple Mh(71,1 4%) and the mixed infected cases(406,8 0%). Drug sensitivity to erythromycin, roxithromycin, josamycin, azithromycin, doxycycline, minocin, ofloxacin, ciprofloxacin in Uu infection were 60 3%,67 5%,73 2%,85 3%,55 7%,40 1%,25 6%,2 7%,respectively;while the mixed infection of Mh and Uu had resistance to the eight antibiotics on the different degree. Conclusions The infective rate of chlamydiae trachomatis and myoplasma in urogential tract and the resistance rates to 8 antibiotics in Hunan province were in a higher level, compared with other area inland. It is necessary to develop antibiotic susceptibility test,in addition to the myoplasma culture for guiding the clinical therapy.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1992;0(06):-
Objective To study the causes, clinical feature, diagnoses and prognosis of pseudoprecocious puberty. Methods Thirty-eight cases with pseudoprecocious puberty were diagnosed by the serum LH and FSH of GnRHa stimulation test, pelvic ultrasonography and bone age assessment; they were treated and followed up. Results Peaks of LH were(0.49?0.48) IU/L, peaks of FSH were(0.54?0.78) IU/L, the level of E2 in 26 cases increased (36.11?15.70) ng/L,17-hydroxyprogesterone of 1 case was beyond 266 nmol/L. All cases showed hysterauxesis (3.98?1.18) mL. Cases of wrong contraceptive intake were 29,5 cases of McCune-Albright syndrome,2 cases of ovarian cyst, 1 case of ovarian granular cell tumor,1 case of congenital adrenal hyperplasia. Conclusions The causes of pseudoprecocious puberty are multifactors. Early diagnosis,therapy,follow-up are very important for prognosis.

Chinese Journal of Ultrasonography 2008;17(10):843-846
Objective To investigate regional systolic function in left ventricle(LV) and postsystolic shortening(PSS) in patients with essential hypertension with different remodeling patterns of LV by strain and strain rate imaging. Methods According to the level of LV mass index and relative wall thickness, forty patients with hypertension were divided into LV normal geometry(LVN) group and LV remodeling(LVR) group, with thirty healthy subjects as control. The strain and strain rate were compared among the basal, middle and apex segments. Results Compared with control, systolic peak strain and strain rate in both groups of LVN and LVR were decreased significantly(P<0.05). Prevalence of PSS in LVR group (55%) was higher than that in LVN group(39%) and control(22%) with significant differences(P<0.01).Conclusions High prevalence of pathologic PSS in patients with hypertension could implied that unbalance of segmental motion in regional myocardial ischemia. However, presence of PSS in healthy subjects might be the result of synchronization and balance of normal myocardium under physical condition.

Chinese Journal of Radiology 2010;44(9):946-949
Objective To explore the imaging characteristics of neurologic complications associated with the enterovirus 71 ( EV71 ) epidemic by analyzing 25 cases and reviewing the literature. Methods Twenty-five cases of hand-foot-mouth disease with neurologic complications during the recent EV71 outbreaks of Hainan province were studied for the clinical features and imaging findings, and literature were reviewed. Results In 5 cases, acute flaccid paralysis associated with EV71-infected hand-foot-mouth disease was related to the linear high signal in the spinal cord on sagittal images. Two cases showed symmetrical, welldefined hyperintense lesions in the spinal cord on T2WI transverse. Strong enhancement of the ventral horns and root was seen on the contrast-enhanced axial T1WI. In brainstem encephalitis, all lesions presented with significant hyperintensity on T2WI and hypointense on T1WI in the posterior portions of the medulla oblongata, midbrain, and pons. The manifestations of aseptic meningitis (AM) on MRI have no characteristics, but subdural effusion, meningeal enhancement and hydrocephalus can be the indirect signs of AM. Conclusions MRI is an effective method to investigate neurologic complications associated with the EV71 epidemic. Posterior portions of the medulla oblongata and pons, bilateral ventral horns of spinal involvement are characteristic findings of enteroviral encephalomyelitis.

Chinese Journal of Virology 2014;30(4):483-488
Epidemics of hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) have mainly been caused by Coxsackievirus A16 (CVA16) and Enterovirus A 71 (EV-A71), which circulated alternatively or together in the affected area. CVA16 has caused numerous outbreaks and epidemics in multiple countries and geographical regions, and has become an important public health problem. Based on an analysis of the complete VP1 coding region, all CVA16 strains can be divided into genotypes A, B1, and B2. Furthermore, genotype B1 can be divided into subgenotypes B1a, B1b, and B1c. After 2000, no reports of genotype B2 virus strains have been reported. All of the CVA16 strains reported in mainland China have belonged to subgenotypes B1a and B1b. Most CVA16-associated infections cause only mild symptoms; however, some CVA16 infections can lead to severe complications and even death. Vaccination is considered to be the most effective method to control the transmission and infection rate of this virus. A number of research groups are studying various vaccine types, including inactivated vaccines, genetic engineering vaccines, and DNA vaccines, amongst others. In this review, an overview is provided of the research advances in molecular epidemiology and vaccines of CVA16.
