Objective: To study the preparation of sinomenine hydrochloride (SH) loaded nano flexible liposomes and investigate the mechanism of the flexible liposomes for enhanced in vitro transdermal drug delivery. Methods: The SH loaded nano flexible liposomes were prepared by film dispersion method, and the effects of concentration of phosphatidylcholine (PSC), cholesterol (CH), and propyleneglycol (PG) on the entrapment efficiency of SH were also investigated. The SH content was determined by HPLC. The physical property was evaluated by the atomic force microscope (AFM), transmission electron microscope (TEM) and photon correlation spectrometer (PCS). The side-by-side diffusion cells were used to evaluate transdermal delivery of SH by nano flexible liposomes. At the end of the transdermal experiment, the treated skin was carefully observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Results: The SH loaded nano flexible liposomes were prepared by film dispersion method with the PSC (3%), CH (0.02%), and PG (25%); The SH entrapment efficiency was (66±2.3)%. The prepared nano flexible liposomes had a closed spherical or elliptical shape showed by AFM images, the TEM images appeared as multi-lamellar vesicles. The calculated mean size was (170±26) nm, the zeta potential values of -(43±3.4) mV. The SH loaded nano flexible liposomes caused the structure of stratum corneum (SC) layer disturbed and disordered the intercorneocyte domain wider, this increased the skin permeability of drug. Conclusion: The SH loaded nano flexible liposomes are obviously resulted in a remarkable enhancement of the SH transdermal drug delivery, which could act as a new nanodimensional vehicle for transdermal delivery of SH.

Objective To screen endophytic fungal strains isolated from wild Huperzia serrata which can highly produce huperzine A. Methods The strain producing huperzine A was identified through thin layer chromatography (TLC) and high- performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) with authentic huperzine A. The fungus was identified according to its morphological characteristics and nuclear ribosomal DNA ITS sequence. Results The strain was identified as Fusarium oxysporum NSG-1 according to its morphological characteristics and nuclear ribosomal DNA ITS sequence. The amount of huperzine A produced by the fermentation liquor of this endophytic fungus was quantified to be 1.11 mg/100 ml by HPLC, which was higher than that of previously reported endophytic fungi. Conclusion Endophytic fungus producing high huperzine A can be obtained from H. serrata. The production of huperzine A based on mutagenesis and transformation of the obtained strain may adapt to the industry production.

RNF180 is a novel membrane-bound E3 ubiquitin ligase that participates in cell development,proliferation and apoptosis.It is a tumor suppressor gene that inhibits cell proliferation and induces apoptosis and may inhibit gastric cancer cell lymph node metastasis.The study found that RNF180 gene methylation and gastric cancer is closely related to the occurrence and development.Therefore,RNF180 gene methylation is expected as a tumor marker of gastric cancer for early diagnosis and prognosis of gastric cancer.In this paper,RNF180 on the diagnosis of gastric cancer research progress made a review.

Objective To screen endophytic fungal strains isolated from wild Huperzia serrata which can produce alkaloids and huperzine A (HupA). Methods Thirty-three endophytic fungal strains were obtained from H.serrata.Alkaloid production was assayed with alkaloid precipitation and acid dye colorimetry. Then, the crude extracts of alkaloids produced from fungal strains were analyzed by modulation of acetylcholinesterase(AChE) activity, TLC and HPLC. Identification of endophytic fungi producing HupA was based on morphology analysis. Results Seven alkaloids produced by endophytic fungal strains were determined based on alkaloid precipitation and acid dye colorimetry, among which strain V generated HupA in vitro. Morphology analysis showed that strain V belonged to Penicillium. Conclusion A high percentage of fungal strains isolated from H.serrata leaves has alkaloid producing potentials. It is the first report that Penicillium species produced HupA. The screening of endophytic fungi producing HupA based on alkaloid precipitation and acid dye colorimetry, AChE activity and structure identification are more efficient and directive.

Based on the results of the morphologic studies on genus Dioscorea, the paper summarized the entire chemical constituent that isolated from this genus and analyzed it with the methods of chemotaxonomy. The rules of the chemical constituent and pharmacodynamic effects were analyzed. Seventeen species which belong to Sect. Stenophora Uline of Dioscorea contain steroidal sapogenin. Other species with different main components such as polysaccharide and tannin have have different effects. This chemotaxonomic view point will conduce to establish a phylogeny of the genus Dioscorea.

Objective To analyze the diagnosis and prognosis value of abdominal CT scans in patients with acute pancreatitis complications.Methods 151 cases with acute pancreatitis were selected.The relationship between abdominal CT performances and the common complications and death in patients was analyzed.The prognosis of patients with different Balthazar CT severity index (CTSI) grade was compared.Results The complication rate of patients with CT signs of fatty liver, pleural effusion, liver gap effusion, adrenal gland involvement (AGI), penirenal space involvement (PSI) and gastric bare area involvement (GBAI) was significantly higher than that of patients with negative CT findings above (P<0.05).With CTSI grading increasing, the patient''s fasting time, heating time, hospital stay, recovery time of blood amylase were extended, and the incidence of pseudo cyst, transit surgery, organ failure and death was gradually increasing (P<0.05).Conclusion Severe fatty liver, AGI, GBAI, PSI and liver gap effusion are risk factors for acute complications and death in patients with pancreatitis.

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of pulmonary rehabilitation therapy including respiratory exercise and vibration expectoration on patients with pulmonary infection after abdominal surgery.Methods A retrospective case control study was conducted.Seventy-six patients with pulmonary infection after abdominal surgery admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Hunan Normal University from September 2015 to September 2016 were enrolled.According to whether accept the pulmonary rehabilitation therapy or not,the patients were divided into two groups.In the control group (n =35),the convemional expectoration method was adopted.The patients in pulmonary rehabilitation group (n =41) received both methods of the control group and pulmonary rehabilitation treatment,including respiratory exercise (effective cough,lip reduction breathing),respiratory exercise device (respiratory exerciser tri-ball),and vibrated expectoration.The 24-hour sputum volume,degree of comfort,inflammatory and pulmonary function parameters,and recovery situation were recorded in the two groups.Results ① There were no significant differences in the parameters of inflammation and pulmonary function before treatment between the two groups.After treatment,the white blood cell (WBC) and C-reactive protein (CRP) in both groups were significantly decreased,and the forced expiratory volume in 1 second (FEV1) and FEV1/forced vital capacity (FVC) were significantly increased.The above changes in pulmonary rehabilitation group were more significant than those of the control group [WBC (× 109/L):11.12 ± 2.88 vs.13.42 ± 2.62 at 3 days,8.22 ± 1.48 vs.9.27 ± 1.92 at 5 days;CRP (mg/L):13.47 ± 4.77vs.16.03±4.94 at 3 days,9.69±1.56 vs.11.77±1.41 at 5 days;FEV1 (L):2.48±0.14 vs.2.29±0.16 at 3 days,FEV1/FVC:0.78±0.04 vs.0.75±0.04 at 3 days;all P ＜ 0.05].② The 24-hour sputum volume within 3 days of pulmonary rehabilitation group were significantly higher than that of the control group (mL:30.51 ± 4.15 vs.18.30 ± 3.64at 1 day,31.08±3.22 vs.20.37±3.20 at 2 days,29.03±2.55 vs.19.03±2.51 at 3 days,all P ＜ 0.01].③ In the pulmonary rehabilitation group,the recovery time of pulmonary infection symptoms (days:5.44 ± 1.45 vs.6.20 ± 1.55),the days of antibiotic use (days:12.61 ± 3.15 vs.15.03 ± 3.78),the time of getting out of the bed (days:4.05 ± 0.74vs.4.51±0.89),and the hospital days (days:19.95±3.90 vs.22.00±4.42) were significantly shorter than those of the control group (all P ＜ 0.05),and the degree of comfort was significantly better than that of the control group (comfort score:2.71 ±0.90 vs.2.14±0.91,P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion The application of pulmonary rehabilitation including respiratory exercise and vibration expectoration in abdominal surgery patients with pulmonary infection can promote recovery,and it has a good clinical and practical application value.
