1.Pay attention to the prevention of intraoperative complications of total thyroidectomy.
Chinese Journal of Surgery 2015;53(3):161-163
The incidence of thyroid cancer has increased sharply year by year. Thyroid cancer ranked from the 14th in 2003 to the 4th in 2012 most common cancers in female in Beijing. Surgery is still main solution for thyroid cancer, there are two operative procedure for thyroid cancer: total thyroidectomy, lateral lobectomy and isthmus resection. The surgeon must pay attention to intraoperative recurrent laryngeal nerve and parathyroid injury, with particular emphasis on the prevention of total thyroidectomy complications. Precise dissection of thyroid capsule, intraoperative recurrent laryngeal nerve monitoring and application of lymphatic mapping to recognize and protect negative stained parathyroid by using carbon nanoparticles tracer is prone to reduce the incidence of recurrent laryngeal nerve and parathyroid injury in the total thyroidectomy.

3.Research progress of anticoagulation combined with antiplatelet treatment strategy in acute coronary syndrome
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2016;39(6):567-570
Dual antiplatelet therapy is the standard treatment for patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and coronary heart disease interventional treatment. Clopidogrel, a traditional antiplatelet agent, has some disadvantages, such as slow onset time, individual differences and dissatisfy the antithrombosis requirement in ischemia of high-risk patients. In addition, for ACS patients with indications of anticoagulation, antiplatelet therapy cannot prevent venous thromboembolic events. However, dual antiplatelet combined with anticoagulant therapy may decrease the risk of ischemic events at the price of increasing bleeding. With the development of new antithrombotic agents, the antithrombotic strategy for ACS has made some progress, such as antiplatelet strategy for ACS, antithrombotic strategy for ACS with indication of anticoagulation and new antithrombotic drugs. With the development of clinical antithrombotic drug research, the patients with ACS will benefit from the optimized strategy of combined with antithrombotic therapy.

Objective To explore the different characteristics of tumor recurrence after liver transplantation (LT)and hepatectomy(HC)in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods The literatures about tumor recurrence of HCC after LT and HC were reviewed and their characteristics were compared.Results There are distinctions of recurrence rates,time,common sites between the recurred tumors after LT and HC,and their correlation factors and mechanisms of recurrence are also different.Conclusion Preventive measures should be strengthened and treatments should be more targeted according to the different characteristics of tumor recurrence after LT and HC to improve postoperative life quality and increase the survival rate.
6. Determination of five components in Fuzheng Pingxiao Capsula by HPLC-MS
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2011;42(9):1736-1739
Objective: To simultaneously determine the contents of five components (amygdalin, paeoniflorin, peimine, astragaloside IV and rutaecarpine) in Fuzheng Pingxiao Capsula by LC-MS. Methods: Chromatographic separation was achieved with gradient elution by Agilent Eclipse plus C18 column (250 mm x 4.6 mm, 5 μm) and an Agilent 1100 Mass Spectrometer system was operated under the SIM mode with electrospray positive ionization (ESI). The mobile phase is acetonitrile-0.1% methanoic acid. Results: The LOQ of amygdalin, paeoniflorin, peimine, astragaloside IV, and rutaecarpine in Fuzheng Pingxiao Capsula were 12.9, 32.2, 1.00, 1.21, and 0.40 ng/mL, and the LOD were 6.46, 6.44, 0.25, 0.61, and 0.16 ng/mL, respectively. Within the linear range, r > 0.999 0. Both intra-day and inter-day precision with RSD was less than 2%. The average recovery rates of the five components were in the range of 98%-102%. Conclusion: This method is fast, sensitive, and reproducible. It could be used to determine amygdalin, paeoniflorin, peimine, astragaloside IV, and rutaecarpine in Fuzheng Pingxiao Capsula under the same chromatogram condition.
7. The role of HIF-1α, β-catenin, IMP3 and PCNA in proliferation of gastric cancer SGC-7901 cells
Tumor 2013;33(3):234-238
Objective: To explore the effects of HIF-1α (hypoxia-inducible factor-1α), β-catenin, IMP3 (insulin-like growth factor II mRNA-binding protein 3) and PCNA (proliferating cell nuclear antigen) on proliferation of gastric cancer SGC-7901 cells. Methods: The pcDNA™ 6.2-GW/EmGFP-miR- β-catenin plasmid was transfected into SGC-7901 cells to establish stably transfected cell line miR- β-catenin-7901. In this experiment, four groups were designed: control group (SGC-7901 cells were cultured under normoxic conditions), hypoxia group (SGC-7901 cells were cultured under hypoxic conditions), transfection group (miR-β-catenin-7901 cells were cultured under normoxic conditions), and combination of transfection and hypoxia group (miR-β-catenin-7901 cells were cultured under hypoxic conditions). The proliferation of SGC-7901 cells in four groups was detected by colony formation assay and cell doubling time assay. The expression levels of HIF-1α, β-catenin, IMP3 and PCNA proteins of SGC-7901 cells in four groups were detected by Western blotting. Results: As compared with the control group, the number of colonies was increased and the cell doubling time was shortened in hypoxia group (P < 0.05). As compared with the hypoxia group, the number of colonies was reduced and the cell doubling time was prolonged in the combination of transfection and hypoxia group (P < 0.05). The expression levels of HIF-1α, β-catenin, IMP3 and PCNA proteins in hypoxia group were higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The expression levels of HIF-1α, β-catenin, IMP3 and PCNA proteins in the transfection group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The expression levels of HIF-1α, β-catenin, IMP3 and PCNA proteins in the combination of transfection and hypoxia group were lower than those in the hypoxia group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The proliferation of gastric cancer SGC-7901 cells may be related to the interaction of HIF-1α and β-catenin, which resulted in the increased expression levels of IMP3 and PCNA. Good linearity (r > 0.999 0) was obtained over the investigated concentration ranges. Reproducibility was evaluated by intra- and inter-day assays, and RSD values were below 2%. The average recoveries of the 4 compounds were within the range of 98%-102%. Conclusion We have established a rapid and efficient HPLC-MS method for determination of 4 constituents in Fuzheng pingxiao capsule: gentiopicroside, liquiritin, rosmarinic acid and harpagoside.
9. Effects of tibolone on apoptosis of neurons after cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;30(7):790-792
Objective: To study whether the neuroprotective effect of tibolone during cerebral ischemia injury is associated with its anti-apoptosis effect. Methods: A total of 30 healthy adult female Sprague Dawley rats were evenly randomized into sham-operated group, ovariectomized group, and tibolone group(0.25 mg/[kg·d]). Brain ischemia model was induced by left middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO) for 2 hours followed by 24 hours reperfusion. All animals were killed and the cerebral infarction volumes were determined by 2,3,5-triphenyltetrazlium chloride (TTC) staining and image analysis. Apoptotic cells were labeled by Terminal deoxynucleotidyl Transferase-mediated dUTP nick end labeling (TUNEL). The expression of Bcl-2, Bax, and caspase-3 was analyzed by immunohistochemical SP method. Results: Compared with the sham-operated group(P<0.05), cerebral infarction volume was significantly reduced, TUNEL positive cells was significantly decreased(P<0.01), Bcl-2 positive cells were significantly increased, and Bax(P<0.01), caspase-3 postive cells were significantly reduced compared with tibolone treated groups (P<0.01). Conclusion: Tibolone can inhibit the neuron apoptosis following cerebral ischemia injury in OVX rats, displaying a neuroprotective effect.

Wen-Wen ZHOU ; Chang-Wei AO ; Tian-Gui NIU ;
Microbiology 1992;0(02):-
There were 48 strains of bacilli obtained from 20 Chinese traditional medicines. Twenty-five strains had antagonistic effect against at least one of ten plant pathogens. Seven strains had antibiosis to more than four pathogens and the best strain had antibiosis to nine pathogens. After physiological and biochemical experiments,eight strains of 25 antagonistic bacilli were proved to be Bacillus subtilis,three were Bacillus cereus,one were Bacillus natto and one were Bacillus licheniformis. At the same time,two kinds of Chinese traditional medicines,which probably had antibacterial effect,were found.
