Objective Toexplorethepatencyofbridgevesselsinpatientsaftercoronaryarterytransplantation,andto providereferencefortheselectionofclinicalbridgevessels.Methods Dataof32patientsunderwentcoronaryangiography aftercoronaryarterybypassgraftingwereselectedandanalyzedretrospectively.Theoverallusageandpatencyofthegreat saphenousveingraft(SVG),theleftinternalmammaryartery(LIMA)andtheradialartery(RA)wereanalyzed.Thepatency ofthenearfuture(5years),themediumterm(5-10years)andlongterm(>10years)werecomparedbetweenthethreekinds ofbridgingvascularvessels.TheRAocclusionwasanalyzed. Results Thetotalnumberofbridgevesselsusedin 32 patientswas85,only1caseusedrightinternalmammaryartery(RIMA),theothersusedSVG,LIMAandRA,inwhich48, 23and13brancheswereusedrespectively.ThepatencyratesofSVG,LIMAandRAwere25%(12/48),73.91%(17/23)and 69.23(9/13)respectively.Therecentandmedium-termpatencyratesofallbridgevesselsshowedadecreasingtrend,in whichtherecentpatencyrateofSVGwassignificantlyhigherthanthatinLIMA,theintermediatepatencyratesofLIMAand SVGwerehigherthanthatofRA,andthelong-termpatencyrateofRAwassignificantlyhigherthanthatofLIMAandSVG. Therewasseverestenosis(＞90%)orocclusionintheproximalsegmentofanastomosisinthe9radialarteriesunobstructed. Conclusion TheutilizationrateofRAisstilllow,andtheoverallpatencyrateofRAissuperiortotheSVG.RAcanbe usedasthesecondoptimalbridgevessel.ThepatientselectionandRAevaluationshouldbedonebeforeapplyingRA.The proximalstenosisdegreeoftargetvesselsignificantlyaffectsthelong-termpatencyofRA.

To compare the effect and advantage of performing rhegmatogenous retina detachment surgery under operation microscope with under direct ophthalmoscopes .METHODS: Ninety - three patients ( 93 eyes ) were randomized to two groups, Group A ( under operation microscope during rhegmatogenous retina detachment surgery, 47 cases ) , Group B ( under direct ophthalmoscopes during rhegmatogenous retina detachment surgery, 46 cases ) . All patients were followed up for 2wk to observe success rate and visual improving rate.RESULTS: Total percentage of success was 95. 74% in group A and 80. 43% in group B. The visual improving rate of group A was 82. 98% and it was 67. 39% in group B. Operative time in group A was significantly shorter than that in group B (P<0. 05). CONCLUSlON: Performing rhegmatogenous retina detachment surgery under operation microscope is ascertaining and it is more effective and handy than performing that surgery under direct ophthalmoscopes.

Ischemic stroke has the characteristics of high morbidity and high mortality, which seriously endanger human health.According to the statistics, ischemic stroke in China accounts for about 80% of stroke cases, and its mortality rate is as high as 50%, but most of the ischemic stroke patients who survive have sequelae, such as hemiplegia, aphasia and so on.In recent years, people have continuously studied the pathological cascade of ischemic stroke, and also achieved some good results in animal model experiments, however, the clinical results are not satisfactory. Nowadays, the better clinically effective therapeutic drug is tissue plasminogen activator, but due to the limited time window,only a small number of patients can apply this drug in time to achieve the effect.Therefore,it is essential to study drugs that are definitive and can benefit a large number of patients with ischemic stroke.The development of traditional medicines is not as fast as the development of new drugs. For ischemic stroke,we can also turn from the study of the pathogenesis of ischemic stroke to the study of traditional drugs for the endogenous neuroprotection of ischemic stroke, and look for effective targets for neuroprotection based on traditional medicine.The multi-targets and multi-effects for the acute and convalescent phases of ischemic stroke is a direction explored by researchers, which also provides some evidence for more effective drugs for the treatment of ischemic stroke.

AIM:To investigate the influence of pinellia heart-draining Decoction, Licorice heart-draining Decoction, Fresh ginger heart-draining Decoction and its dismantlements on the amount of gastric mucus in rats. METHODS:20 different combination of Banxiaxiexin Decoction and its analogus according to the unform design layout, the amount of gastric mucus in rats was determinated. Stepwise regression analysis was adopted to estimate the relationship between the pharmacological data and compatibility. RESULTS:Rhizoma Coptidis could reduce the amount of gastric mucus remarkbably, the interaction of Rhizoma Pinelliae、Fructus Ziziphi Jujubae and Radix Glycyrrhizae could increase the amount of gastric mucus, and interaction was confirmed among different medicinal ingredients in prescription. CONCLUSION:Uniform design provides a referable exeperimental design for studying analogus decoction compatibility law.

Objective · To establish human cervical cancer xenografts in nude mice and investigate the antitumor therapeutic effects and safety of EGF modified cisplatin-alginate conjugate liposomes. Methods · Cervical cancer-bearing mouse model was established by subcutaneously injecting Hela cells in nude mice. Generalstate and xenograft growth of the mice were observed. Tumor volumes, tumor weights, and the body weights of mice during the treatment were recorded and analyzed. The expression levels of EGFR in xenografts were detected by immunohistochemistry. Results · ① EGFR was highly expressed in the xenografts. ② CS-EGF-Lip inhibited the tumor growth effectively (P=0.000). ③ The inhibition rates of tumor volume and tumor weight of CS-EGF-Lip were 80.22% and 58.60% respectively, which were betterthan those of cisplatin (P=0.000). ④ CS-EGF-Lip had minimal influence on body weight in mice (P=0.000). Conclusion · CS-EGF-Lip has more effective antitumoreffects than cisplatin in cervical cancer-bearing mice, which can inhibit tumor growth of solid tumors with enhanced efficacy and safety.

Background Neovascular glaucoma is a type of refractory glaucoma.Biological amnion combined with glaucoma valve implantation is a primary therapy and its long-term effectiveness is noticeable. Objective The goal of this Survey was to evaluate the effectiveness of biological amnion combined with glaucoma valve implantation for neovascular glaucoma and compare the clinical outcome with simple glaucoma valve implantation. Methods This was a retrospective observational case series.The clinical data of 44 eyes of 44 patients received biological amnion combined with glaucoma valve implantation for neovascular glaucoma and 43 eyes of 43 patients received simple glaucoma valve implantation for neovascular glaucoma were retrospectively analyzed and compared.The age,sex and disease-cause were matched between these two groups.Patients were followed-up for 24 months after operation.Surgery success was identified as the intraocular pressure(IOP)<21 mmHg after operation.Written informed consent was obtained from each patient prior to the operation.Results The IOP was<21 mmHg throughout the follow-up duration in both groups.No significant difierence was found in the IOP value in 1 week after operation between two groups(t=-5.34,P=0.60).However,IOP values were lower in biological amnion combined with glaucoma valve implantation group in 3,12 and 24 months after operation than those of simple glaucoma valve implantation(t=6.64,t=5.00,t=7.81,P<0.01).Operation successful rates in biological amnion combined with glaucoma valve implantation group were 97.73％.93.18％。90.24％and 82.05％in 1 week,3 months,12 months and 24 months respectively after operation.and those in simple glaucoma valve implantation were 95.35％,71.43％,65.00％and 60.53％in corresponding time points,showing considerably significant differences between two groups (χ2=7.06,χ2=7.47,χ2=4.37,P<0.05).There was no significant difference in Ihe number of eyes with complication between the two groups(P>0.05). Conclusion The biological amnion combined with glaucoma valve implantation surgery may be more effective and safe for the treatment of neovascular glaucoma than with glaucoma va]ve only.

BackgroundBiological behavior of choroidal melanoma is closely related with angiogenesis.The microcirculation pattern in which tumor cells may be involved is different from neovascularization.ObjectiveThis study was to observe the microcirculation pattern of the choroidal melanoma tissue and analyze its relationship with the clinical pathology factor and the degree of cellular proliferation.Methods Forty-eight specimen of choroidal melanoma tissue were collected at Beijing Tongren Eye Centre from November 1997 through March 2006.Periodate acid Schiff staining was used to determine the microcirculation pattern of choroidal melanoma.The morphology of the tumor cells and the distribution of microcirculation pattern in the tumor were observed under a fluorescence microscopy with 544 nm wavelength,and the Ki-67 expression in the tumor was detected by immunochemistry.The relationships between the choroidal melanoma clinical pathology factor with Ki-67 expression and microcirculation pattern were evaluated by multiple stepwise regression model.ResultsA total of 9 kinds of microcirculation patterns were found by periodate acid Schiff staining.The occurring rate of loop- or network-like vascular pattern showed a significant elevation in the tumor tissue with epithelial cells in comparison with the tumor with spindle-like cells (66.7％ vs.30.6％ ) ( P=0.027 ).The expression rates of Ki-67 were 18.961 ± 10.995 and 19.481 ± 12.167 in the tumor tissue with loop- or network-like microvascular pattern,and those in the tumor tissue without loop- or network-like microvascular pattern were 10.261 ±5.669 and 12.021 ± 6.802,presenting significant differences between them ( P =0.000,P =0.010).Loop-like microvascular pattern was determined as the risk factor of the proliferation and metastasis of choroidal melanoma by multiple stepwise regression analysis (P=0.002).ConclusionsAmong the nine microcirculation patterns in choroidal melanoma,networks pattern is the most fashion,and Ki-67 expression is more strong in the tumor with epitheliod cells,suggesting that this microcirculation pattern is associated to the malignant degree and extent of proliferation in choroidal melanoma.

·AIM: To study the expressive variation of Nogo-A on rat retina in the process of chronic ocular hypertension. · METHODS: Thirty-six healthy adult male Wistars were randomly divided into control group (6 rats) and chronic hypertension group (30 rats). Chronic hypertension was created by cauterizing the superficial scleral veins. Immunohistochemistry technique was used to evaluate the expressive varieties of Nogo-A at different time points during the course of chronic ocular hypertension. · RESULTS: The success of the model was indicated by over 40% of increase in the IOP as compared with normal rats. Compared with control group, as time passed chronic hypertension group gradually had detectable morphology changes in the retina. At the 21st day of chronic ocular hypertension, retinas became thinner and the quantity of retinal ganglion cell (RGC) decreased (P<0.05). Assoicated with the morphological changes, the expression of Nogo-A was strongly increased (P<0.05).CONCLUSION: Myelin associated protein Nogo-A plays a part in the process of chronic ocular hypertension.

AIM:To compare one-site vs two-site phacotrabe-culectomy in chronic angle-closure glaucoma (CACG) coexisting with cataract.METHODS:This prospective, randomized study included 41 eyes with CACG. One-site approach was performed in 21 eyes and two-site procedure in 20 eyes. Intraocular pressure (IOP), best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA), the number of antiglaucoma medications and complications were observed. All patients were followed up for 9 months.RESULTS:There were no significant differences between the two groups preoperatively. IOP decreased from 22.7±4.9mmHg and 23.7±4.7mmHg preoperatively in one-and two-site groups to 18.0±1.2mmHg and 16.7±1.1mmHg 9 months after operation respectively(P<0.05). There were no significant differences in mean IOP between the two groups at any time (P>0.05). Decrease of the number of antiglaucoma medications and BCVA improvement were similar in both groups 9 months after surgery (P>0.05).There were no significant differences in complications between the two surgical procedures.CONCLUSION:There were no significant differences between the two groups in clinical efficacy and complications.

Objective To investigate the infection status quo of 21 kinds of genotypes of human papillomavirus (HPV)and their distribution rule among the women in Hengyang region.Methods A total of 8 032 women voluntarily accepting cervical cancer screening in the Hengyang Municipal Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital fromg April 2012 to May 2013 were selected as the research subjects.The exfoliated cells samples of cervical tissue were collected for detecting 21 kinds of HPV genotypes by Hybri-Max.The HPV infectious rate and the HPV gene distribution were analyzed by using SSPS13.0.Results Of 8 032 women,1 664 cases were detected out 1 kind or more than 2 kinds of HPV,the HPV infectious rate was 20.72%(1 664/8 032).The top 6 geno-types of HPV were HPV16,52,58,81,53 and 18.Among 1 664 female cases of HPV infection,the single HPV infection rate was 76.44%,the multiple infection rate was 23.56%,which was dominated by the double infection;the total positive rate in the various age groups of HPV infection presented theU-type distribution with the age increase,however the total positive rate had no statis-tically significant differences among all age groups(P >0.05 ).Conclusion The HPV female infection rate in Hengyang region is relatively higher,moreover the high risk HPV is predominant.HPV 16 occupies the top ranking.
