Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(01):-
Objective To investigate the preventive mechanism of Anisodamine (654-2) on multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) of rabbits. Methods Rabbit model of MODS induced by hemorrhagic shock and endotoxin was used in this study. Twenty-four rabbits were randomly divided into the control group (C group) , hemorrhagic shock plus endotoxin group (M group) and 654-2 treatment group (T group). The expression of IKK-? of pulmonary alveolar macrophage (PAM) and kuffer cell(KC), the NF-?B activity of nuclear protein extracted from PAM and KC and the concentration of tumor necrosis factor-? (TNF-?) in the culture supernatant were measured by in situ hybridization (ISH), electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA) and enzyme linked immune absorbent analysis(ELISA), respectively. Then the blood air, biochemical and pathological changes in visceral organs were examined in each groups. Results In PAM and KC of M group, The expression of IKK-? mRNA [(0 15?0 03);(0 17?0 04)], the activity of NF-?B [(1 49?0 30);(1 72?0 36)] and the secretion level of TNF-? [( 279 74?25 91);(300 05?30 86)ng/L] were significantly higher than those of control group (P

Objective To explore the effect of Contract Learning Methodology in teaching of clinical nursing. Methods 88 nursing students were randomized into the control group(n=46)and experiment group(n=42).The former and the latter adopted the Contract Learning Methodology and conventional teaching methodology, respectively. The two groups were assessed and compared in terms of their scores of clinical nursing theory and manipulation. Results The students in the experiment group were comprehensively better then those in the control group in terms of theoretical and manipulative exams, writing of nursing histories, writing of reading reports, basic nursing, communicating ability and comprehensive achievements(P<0.01).Conclusion The Contract Learning Methodology may fortify the sense of discipline in nursing students, enhance the sense of teaching in teachers and therefore propel the quality of teaching and learning.
5. Application of blending raw materials in quality consistency control of Qianlie Shule Capsule
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2016;47(8):1315-1320
Objective: To develop a method for controlling the quality consistency of Qianlie Shule Capsule (QSC) by blending raw marerials. Methods: Blending raw materials were blended by medicine calculator V2. The content differences of epimedin C and icariine in QSC made from raw materials and their mixtures were compared. Results: The RSD of index component epimedin C from blended and raw materials were 11.2% and 82.5%, the RSD of icariine were 8.70% and 35.5%, the difference between index components decreased obviously, and it showed that the quality consistency in QSC was greatly increased. Conclusion: Using the method to control the quality coherence of Chinese patent medicine has the obvious results, it is easy to operate and suitable for actual production.

OBJECTIVETo observe the effect of salidroside on tic behavior and in vivo dopamine DA) and serotonin (5-HT) levels in Tourette syndrome (TS) model rats.
METHODSForty rats were randomly divided into the blank control group, the TS model group, the haloperidol-treated group (0.5 mg/kg x d(-1)), and the salidroside-treated group (50 mg/kg x d(-1)), 10 in each group. TS rat model was induced by imino-dipropio-nitrile (IDPN). Peritoneal injection of haloperidol and salidroside was started from the 4th day of modeling in the haloperidol-treated group and the salidroside-treated group respectively. Normal saline was peritoneally injected to rats in the blank control group and the TS model group respectively. Stereotyped behavior was scored, and changes of DA and 5-HT levels in blood and striatum were measured before modeling, after modeling, and after intervention.
RESULTSCompared with the blank control group, the score of the tic behavior was elevated (P < 0.01) , levels of DA and 5-HT in plasma and striatum were reduced in the model group (P < 0.01, P < 0.05). Compared with the same group after modeling, the tic behavior score decreased and plasma DA levels increased in the two treated groups after intervention (P < 0.01). 5-HT content increased in the salidroside-treated group (P < 0.01). Compared with the model group after intervention, the tic behavior score was significantly reduced (P < 0.01), and DA levels in plasma and striatum were elevated (P < 0.01, P < 0.05) in the salidroside-treated group and the haloperidol-treated group. Compared with the haloperidol-treated group, the tic behavior score increased (P < 0.01), DA levels in plasma and striatum were lowered (P < 0.01, P < 0.05), the 5-HT level increased in plasma and striatum (P < 0.01, P < 0.05) in the salidroside-treated group.
CONCLUSIONSIn the salidroside-treated group, the tic behavior was significantly reduced, and DA levels in plasma and striatum were elevated. Its mechanism might be related to regulating activities of dopamine neurons in striatum.

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2011;46(2):132-137
Molecular imprinting technique (MIT) involves the synthesis of polymer in the presence of a template to produce complementary binding sites in terms of its size, shape, and functional group orientation. Such kind of polymer possesses specific recognition ability towards its template molecule. Despite the rapid development of MIT over the years, the majority of the template molecules that have been studied are small molecules, while molecular imprinting of proteins remains a significant yet challenging task due to their large size, structural flexibility and complex conformation. In this review, we summarize the research findings over the past five years, and discuss the characteristics of the technique, the most recent progress and the perspective in the field of molecular imprinting of proteins.

Objective To observe the display and source of the artery located at anterolateral region next to pancreatic head on en-hanced CT,and to investigate its clinical value. Methods Imaging data of 200 consecutive patients who underwent abdominal CT scan were collected, and their CT images were analyzed. The reconstructed images were obtained at a post-processing workstation. After reconstruction, the display rate, source and branches of the artery located at anterolateral region next to pancreatic head were analyzed, and the diameters of these vessels were measured. Results The arterial vessel located at anterolateral region next to pan-creatic head was found on axial CT image in arterial phase with a display rate of 100%.By using post-reconstruction images, most vessels were gastroduodenal artery with mean diameter of 0.33 cm± 0.05 cm,and other ones were pancreaticoduodenal artery or right gastroomental artery. Conclusion The artery located at anterolateral region next to pancreatic head can be found on axial ab-dominal CT image in the arterial phase. Most vessels are gastroduodenal artery with a fixed position and traveling.

Objective To investigate the distribution of high-arsenic drinking water in Honghu city of Hubei province in order to provide a scientific basis for prevention and control of endemic arsenic disease. Methods Investigations were made in 22 townships(towns,districts),68 natural villages of the drainage areas of the Dongjing River, the Neijing River and the Yangtse River in 2006 and 2007,with the townships(towns, districts)around Shahu town in Xiantao city as the focal point.1000 water samples were drawn each year, which was 10% of all the wells in every natural village.Using sampling investigation, water arsenic Was determined by half-quantitative fast reagent kit.All samples of water with arsenic exceeding the standard(≥0.03 mg/L)were re-determined according to state standard.Surveys on the disease was carried out in the villages(brigades)where arsenic exceeded the standard. Results A total of 2000 samples were surveyed from 68 natural villages,of which there were 401 samples from 48 villages exceeding the standard in a rate of 20.05%(401/2000).The highest arsenic content Was 0.71 mg/L.The high arsenic water sources were distributed mainy in the drainage areas of the Dongjing River and the Neijing River, but no patients with endemic arsenic disease were found. Conclusions The high arsenic water sources are distributed mainly in the drainage areas of the Dongjing River and the Neijing River. It is suggested that the interrelated government departments should take precise measures to impmve the quality of drinking water and ensure safe water to the residents in high arsenic areas.
