Objective To investigate the changes and significance of I?B kinase-?(I?K-?) in the lung tissues of rabbits with hemorrhagic shock.Methods The expressions of I?K-? and NF-?B in the lung tissues and the concentration of tumor necrosis factor-?(TNF-?) in the plasma were measured by in situ hybridization(ISH),immunohitochemistry and enzyme linked immune adsorbent analysis(ELISA), respectively. Objective To investigate the preventive mechanism of Anisodamine (654-2) on multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) of rabbits. Methods Rabbit model of MODS induced by hemorrhagic shock and endotoxin was used in this study. Twenty-four rabbits were randomly divided into the control group (C group) , hemorrhagic shock plus endotoxin group (M group) and 654-2 treatment group (T group). The expression of IKK-? of pulmonary alveolar macrophage (PAM) and kuffer cell(KC), the NF-?B activity of nuclear protein extracted from PAM and KC and the concentration of tumor necrosis factor-? (TNF-?) in the culture supernatant were measured by in situ hybridization (ISH), electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA) and enzyme linked immune absorbent analysis(ELISA), respectively. Then the blood air, biochemical and pathological changes in visceral organs were examined in each groups. Results In PAM and KC of M group, The expression of IKK-? mRNA [(0 15?0 03);(0 17?0 04)], the activity of NF-?B [(1 49?0 30);(1 72?0 36)] and the secretion level of TNF-? Objective To explore the effect of Contract Learning Methodology in teaching of clinical nursing.Methods 88 nursing students were randomized into the control group(n=46)and experiment group(n=42).The former and the latter adopted the Contract Learning Methodology and conventional teaching methodology,respectively.The two groups were assessed and compared in terms of their scores of clinical nursing theory and manipulation.Results The students in the experiment group were comprehensively better then those in the control group in terms of theoretical and manipulative exams,writing of nursing histories, writing of reading reports,basic nursing,communicating ability and comprehensive achievements(P<0.01).Conclusion The Contract Learning Methodology may fortify the sense of discipline in nursing students,enhance the sense of teaching in teachers and therefore propel the quality of teaching and learning.

Objective: To develop a method for controlling the quality consistency of Qianlie Shule Capsule (QSC) by blending raw marerials. Methods: Blending raw materials were blended by medicine calculator V2. The content differences of epimedin C and icariine in QSC made from raw materials and their mixtures were compared. Results: The RSD of index component epimedin C from blended and raw materials were 11.2% and 82.5%, the RSD of icariine were 8.70% and 35.5%, the difference between index components decreased obviously, and it showed that the quality consistency in QSC was greatly increased. Conclusion: Using the method to control the quality coherence of Chinese patent medicine has the obvious results, it is easy to operate and suitable for actual production.

OBJECTIVETo observe the effect of salidroside on tic behavior and in vivo dopamine DA) and serotonin (5-HT) levels in Tourette syndrome (TS) model rats.

METHODSForty rats were randomly divided into the blank control group, the TS model group, the haloperidol-treated group (0.5 mg/kg x d(-1)), and the salidroside-treated group (50 mg/kg x d(-1)), 10 in each group. TS rat model was induced by imino-dipropio-nitrile (IDPN). Peritoneal injection of haloperidol and salidroside was started from the 4th day of modeling in the haloperidol-treated group and the salidroside-treated group respectively. Normal saline was peritoneally injected to rats in the blank control group and the TS model group respectively. Stereotyped behavior was scored, and changes of DA and 5-HT levels in blood and striatum were measured before modeling, after modeling, and after intervention.

RESULTSCompared with the blank control group, the score of the tic behavior was elevated (P < 0.01) , levels of DA and 5-HT in plasma and striatum were reduced in the model group (P < 0.01, P < 0.05). Compared with the same group after modeling, the tic behavior score decreased and plasma DA levels increased in the two treated groups after intervention (P < 0.01). 5-HT content increased in the salidroside-treated group (P < 0.01). Compared with the model group after intervention, the tic behavior score was significantly reduced (P < 0.01), and DA levels in plasma and striatum were elevated (P < 0.01, P < 0.05) in the salidroside-treated group and the haloperidol-treated group. Compared with the haloperidol-treated group, the tic behavior score increased (P < 0.01), DA levels in plasma and striatum were lowered (P < 0.01, P < 0.05), the 5-HT level increased in plasma and striatum (P < 0.01, P < 0.05) in the salidroside-treated group.

CONCLUSIONSIn the salidroside-treated group, the tic behavior was significantly reduced, and DA levels in plasma and striatum were elevated. Its mechanism might be related to regulating activities of dopamine neurons in striatum.

BACKGROUND: Considerable debate exists which factors influence the outcomes of the vitrified frozen-thawed embryo transfer because lack of clinical applications.OBJECTIVE: To explore the factors influencing the outcomes of the vitrified frozen-thawed embryo transfer in assisted reproductive technology.METHODS: A retrospective statistical analysis was performed in Reproductive Medicine Center, Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University of 142 patients, 154 thawing cycles. The patients were grouped according to the age of patients, embryonic development, fertilization methods, endometrial preparation programs, the endometrial thickness, the process of transplantation and the survival cell ratio of embryo recovery, the implantation rate and clinical pregnancy rate were compared between various groups.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Among the groups of the different age, fertilization methods, endometrial preparation programs, endometrial thickness and the process of embryo transfer embryo implantation rate and clinical pregnancy rate were no significant difference (P > 0.05); between the two groups of the second day fertilized embryos (D2) and the third day (D3)fertilized embryos, the clinical pregnancy rate was not significant (P> 0.05), but the embryo implantation rate of D3 group was significantly higher than D2 group. The survival cell ratio of embryo recovery has a significant effect on implantation rate and clinical pregnancy rate (P < 0.05). Ln the frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycles, embryo quality plays a major role in pregnancy rate, and preparation for appropriate endometrial thickness can improve the clinical pregnancy rate.

Molecular imprinting technique (MIT) involves the synthesis of polymer in the presence of a template to produce complementary binding sites in terms of its size, shape, and functional group orientation. Such kind of polymer possesses specific recognition ability towards its template molecule. Despite the rapid development of MIT over the years, the majority of the template molecules that have been studied are small molecules, while molecular imprinting of proteins remains a significant yet challenging task due to their large size, structural flexibility and complex conformation. In this review, we summarize the research findings over the past five years, and discuss the characteristics of the technique, the most recent progress and the perspective in the field of molecular imprinting of proteins.

OBJECTIVETo study the effects and underlying mechanisms of Zhuyun Recipe (ZR) on the endometrial receptivity in ovarian stimulation (OS) and blastocyst implantation dysfunction (BID) mice.

METHODSTotally 200 normal female Kunming mice were randomly divided into 6 groups, i. e., the control group (Group A), the OS group (Group B), the OS + ZR group (Group C), the BID group (Group D), the BID + ZR group (Group E), and the ZR group (Group F). The pregnant mare's serum gonadotrophin (PMSG) and human chorionic gonadotrophin (HCG) were intraperitoneally injected to mice in Group B. Mifepristone was subcutaneously injected to mice in Group D at 9:00 am on the 4th gestation day. Corresponding medications were given to mice in Group C, E, and F at 1.5 mL/100 g by gastrogavage at 8:00 am from the first to the 4th gestation day. Eight uterus samples were collected at 9:00 pm on the 4th gestation day and fixed. The expression levels of leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF) and integrin beta3 were detected using immunohistochemical assay. The pregnant mice were sacrificed at 9:30 pm on the 8th gestation day, and their uterus were taken out. The number of blastocysts was counted.

RESULTSCompared with Group A, the pregnant rate was 6.67% (1/15 cases) in Group B and 18.75% (3/16 cases) in Group D, the mean OD value of LIF was 0. 18 +/- 0.02 in Group B and 0.23 +/- 0.02 in Group D, and the mean OD value of integrin beta3 was 0.20 +/- 0.05 in Group B and 0.19 +/- 0. 02 in Group D, showing statistical difference (P < 0.01). The pregnant rate was 54.55% (12/22 cases) in Group C and 65. 22% (15/23 cases) in Group E, the mean OD value of LIF was 0.37 +/- 0. 09 in Group C and 0.39 +/- 0.02 in Group E, and the mean OD value of integrin beta3 was 0.34 +/- 0.04 in Group C and 0.38 +/- 0.08 in Group E, showing statistical difference when compared with those of Group B and Group D respectively (P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONSOS and BID had negative effects on the endometrial receptivity and hindered the blastocyst implantation. ZR could improve the uterine receptivity and elevate the pregnant rate by up-regulating the expressions of endometrial LIF and integrin beta3.
