Objective To investigate the preventive mechanism of Anisodamine (654-2) on multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) of rabbits. Methods Rabbit model of MODS induced by hemorrhagic shock and endotoxin was used in this study. Twenty-four rabbits were randomly divided into the control group (C group) , hemorrhagic shock plus endotoxin group (M group) and 654-2 treatment group (T group). The expression of IKK-? of pulmonary alveolar macrophage (PAM) and kuffer cell(KC), the NF-?B activity of nuclear protein extracted from PAM and KC and the concentration of tumor necrosis factor-? (TNF-?) in the culture supernatant were measured by in situ hybridization (ISH), electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA) and enzyme linked immune absorbent analysis(ELISA), respectively. Long-term endurance training or physical activity has been confirmed not only to improve physical performance, but to bring about an obvious beneficial effect on human health; however, the mechanism of this effect is not clear. The most studied health adaptations in skeletal muscle response to endurance exercise are increased muscle glycogen level and insulin sensitivity, fiber type transformation toward oxidative myofibers, and increased mitochondrial content/function. Mitochondria are dynamic organelles in eukaryotic cells critical in physical performance and disease occurrence. The mitochondrial life cycle spans biogenesis, maintenance, and clearance. Exercise training may promote each of these processes and confer positive impacts on skeletal muscle contractile and metabolic functions. This review focused on the regulation of these processes by endurance exercise and discussed its potential benefits in health and disease. We presented evidence suggesting that exercise training potentiates not only the biogenesis of mitochondria but also the removal of old and unhealthy mitochondria through mitochondrial quality control.

AIM: To analyze the clinical efficacy and complications of titanium mini plate internal fixation and reconstructive surgery for patients with orbital fracture.
METHODS: Fifty - seven cases (60 eyes) with orbital fracture from March 2013 to April 2014 in our hospital were researched. According to the random number table method, the patients were divided into observation group (29 cases with 30 eyes) and control group (28 cases with 30 eyes ). The control group was treated with hydroxyapatite artificial bone plate for internal fixation, and the observation group with titanium mini plate internal fixation and reconstructive surgery. The diplopia grading, grading of ocular movement disorder before and at 1, 3mo after treatment and postoperative complications ( prolapse, dislocation, infection ) were compared between the two groups.
RESULTS: In both group, all the 60 eyes were healed without scar formation. The rate of diplopia grading as grade 0 1mo postoperatively of observation group and the control groups were 63% and 40% ( P < 0. 05); diplopia grading 3mo postoperatively and the eye movement barrier obstructs 1 and 3mo postoperatively of observation group were better than those of the control group ( P <0. 05). The adverse reaction rate of observation group and control group were 3% and 20% (P<0. 05).
CONCLUSION: The clinical curative effect of titanium mini plate internal fixation and reconstructive surgery has a good effect for orbital fractures, which can improve the therapeutic effect and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions.

Objective To develop a real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR(FQ-RCR)method for detection of Kallkreins(KLK)4 gene expression in human breast cancer,and to investigate KLK4 expression levels in breast cancer and normal tissues.Methods KLK4 expression levels of 25 normal breast tissues and 39 cancer tissues were detected by the developed real-time quantitative PCR method.The statistical analysis for the relationship between KLK4 expression and several pathological parameters was performed by t test.Results The levels of KLK4 mRNA in normal breast and breast cancer tissue were 0.0120?0.0044 and 0.0272?0.0067 respectively(P0.05).Conclusions The level of KLK4 mRNA in breast cancer tissue was higher significantly than that in normal breast tissue.The results indicated that KLK4 gene expression may have relevance with breast cancer development but have no significant relevance with ER,PR,CerbB-2 and tumor metastasis.

Objective To investigate the differences in dosimetry between conformal radiotherapy (CRT),field-in-field intensity-modulated radiotherapy (FIF-IMRT),and intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) after breast-conserving surgery for left-sided breast cancer.Methods A total of 31 patients who underwent breast-conserving surgery for left-sided breast cancer were randomly selected,and the plans for CRT,FIF-IMRT,and IMRT were developed.The dose-volume histogram (DVH) was used for self-control study,and the non-parametric test was used to compare the differences in target volume and doses to organs at risk (OARs).Results All the three methods met the requirements of the prescribed doses.The CRT group had a higher V105 of the target volume and higher heart V30 and Dmax (P=0.000,0.000,0.000).The IMRT group had higher V5 and Dmean (P=0.000,0.000),as well as a higher lung V5 and a lower lung V40 (P=0.000,0.000).The FIF-IMRT group had the lowest Dmean (P=0.000),and the IMRT group had significantly higher Dmean and Dmax of the right lung and the spinal cord than the other two groups (P=0.000,0.000,0.000,0.000).The FIF-IMRT group had a significantly lower single hop count than the other two groups (P=0.000).Conclusions CRT has a good dose distribution in the target volume,but greatly injures the surrounding tissues.FIF-IMRT can well protect OARs and cause less damage to the device.
