Objective To investigate the CT features of pulmonary sarcoidosis. Methods Ninety patients with histologically proved pulmonary sarcoidosis were retrospectively studied by using CT scans and clinical recording. Results The main CT findings of pulmonary sarcoidosis were nodules which were seen in 69 cases(76.7%),and the nodules mostly distributed around the bronchovascular bundle(n=37, 41.1%).Other abnormalities included consolidation(n=31,34.4%),ground-grass(n=39,43.3 %), thickening of bronchovascular bundle(n=30,33.3%),interlobular septal lines(n=58,64.4%), fibrosis(n=17,18.9%)including bronchial distortion(n=8,8.9%),linear shadow(n=5,5.6%), and honeycombing shadow(n=4,4.4%),air-trapping(n=3,5.3%),bronchial straitness(n=8, 8.9%),pleural thickening(n=42,46.7%),and hilar and mediastinal adenopathy(n=76,84.4%). Two or more abnormal findings co-existed in 83 cases. The pulmonary lesions co-existed with hilar and mediastinal adenopathy in 76 cases. The nodules(n=25),consolidation(n=9),ground-grass(n=11), thickening of bronehovascular bundle(n=10)were improved after therapy.Ten cases of the interlobular septal(10/22),0 of bronchial distortion(0/4),1 case of diffuse linear(1/3),and 0 case of honeycombing(0/2)were improved. Conclusion CT manifestations of pulmonary sarcoidosis are varied, but has some specific radiographic features.A correct diagnosis can be made.combined with hilar and mediastinal adenopathy.

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect of Jie-jing Mixture in treating spasticity of apoplectic hemiparalysis.Methods60 cases with spasticity of apoplectie hemipuralysis were divided into 2 groups.30 case for treatment group (routine treatment added by Jie-jing Mixture ) and 30 case for control (only receiving routine treatment ).ResultsThe effective rates was 86.7% (treatment group )and 33.3%(control group )with statistical significance ( P<0.01).Conclusions The Jie-jing Mixture has better effect in treating spastisticity of apoplectic hemiparalysis than that of the conventional therapy.

ObjectiveTo study the effect of Rehabilitative Ankle-Foot Orthoses training program on walking function of hemiplegic patients after stroke .Methods95 patients were randomly divided into two groups: observed group (49 cases) and control group (46 cases). The patients of control group were trained by routine rehabilitation training program, the patients of observed group were trained by Rehabilitative Ankle-Foot Orthoses and routine rehabilitation training program.ResultsAfter training, either observed group or control group showed significant improvement at walking function and ADL(P<0.01), but the improvement on observed group were more marked than coutrol group(P<0.01 and P<0.05). ConclusionsThe ability of walking in acute stroke patients were obviously improved, and the degree of the disability of them was decreased by Rehabilitative Ankle-Foot Orthoses.

Objective To further investigated the effect of minocycline on the inhibition of microglial activation and subsequent protection of nigral DA neuron. Methods 20 rats injected with LPS in the substantia nigra (SN) were randomly divided into two groups (LPS group and LPS+Minocycline group). The behavior was observed on the 7~(th) d and 14~(th) d.The immunohistoehemistry,in situ hybridization and Western-blot were used to detect the levels of positive neuron,mRNA,protein of TH and OX-42. Results The slightly rotational behavior was observed in LPS+Minoeyeline group. The majority of mieroglias were activated in the two groups. Some microglia in the SNpc remained ramified in LPS+ Minocycline group. The numbers of hypertophie microglia in LPS+Minoeyeline group were less than that in LPS group.Western-blot showed that the protein of OX-42 in two LPS groups was higher than in normal group(P

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effects of endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) transfusion on reendothelialization and neointima proliferation in balloon-denuded rabbit carotid arteries.
METHODBone marrow-derived rabbit mononuclear cells (MNCs) were cultured in endothelial basal medium to form EPCs. The cell makers were assayed by immunocytochemistry. The rabbit right carotid artery was injured with 2.5 FPTCA balloon catheter and the EPCs (5 ml) were transfused into the injured carotid artery at a rate of 15 ml/h. The rabbits were killed at 7 days or 14 days post operation. Reendothelialization area and ratio of intima/media (I/M) in injured artery were measured.
RESULTEPCs transfusion significantly increased the percentage of endothelialization at 7 days (50.923% +/- 2.476% vs. 28.647% +/- 2.241%) and at 14 days (82.609% +/- 2.611% vs. 49.800% +/- 2.660%) compared to control group (all P < 0.05). I/M ratio was significantly lower in EPCs transfusion group than that in control group (0.378 +/- 0.029 vs. 0.898 +/- 0.038, P < 0.05) 14 days after operation. The labeled EPCs could be detected by immunohistochemistry in the injured vessel wall.
CONCLUSIONIntra-arterial transfusion of EPCs can effectively accelerate reendothelialization and reduce neointima formation in balloon-denuded rabbit carotid arteries.
