Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(22):-
Objective To explore the risk factors of asthma in children with bronchiclitics. Methods One hundred and two cases hospita-lized patients with bronchiolitis were analyzed and followed-up for 2-7 years, items of follow-up included sex, morbidity age, food feeding, severity of disease, atopy physique, family history of atopy/asthma,environment exposure, passive smoking, and so on.The factors were carried on the Logistic regression analysis to determine the influence on later years to having recurrent asthma. Results Forty-seven cases had transferred asthma, which was remarkably higher than the domestic urban survey data(0.12%-3.34%).The multi-factors Logistic regression analysis demonstrated that environment(OR 6.099,95%CI 1.824~20.396),passive smoking(OR 49.222,95%CI 8.219-294.774),atopy physique (OR 45.548,95%CI 6.799-305.117)and family history of atopy/asthma(OR 47.921,95%CI 8.626-266.226)were the risk facter of asthma( Pa
3. Analysis of institutional factors influencing drug price in the context of the enhancement of drug quality
Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2015;50(1):85-88
OBJECTIVE: To explore the institutional pricing factors influencing the improvement of drug quality and stimulate the reasonable alignment of the drug quality and price. METHODS: clarify the interrelationship between the connotations of drug quality, drug quality and drug price with the assistance of the questionnaire formulated according to the findings of structured interviews with the experts based on the descriptive statistical analysis and structural equation modeling analysis of the 25 institutional factors influencing drug prices. RESULTS: The fact that drug price exerts impact on the improvement of drug quality is not a mere function of the drug pricing rules. Factors such as the business bribes in drug dealership, the large number of drug distribution links, the high fees and the ranking of pharmaceutical benefits scheme as well as the internal cost management of the enterprise are some of the key factors that affect the pricing policies. CONCLUSION: The price regulations and policies should be adjusted with clarifying the internal cost management policies as the focus. The pricing policies should be made to encourage the retraining initiatives, energy reservation and emissions reduction as well as the consistency between the drug quality and prices so as to resolve the issue of lacking the driving force to enhance the drug qualities in the manufacturing process.

Objective To study the intestinal microflora changes in children with Henoch-Sch?nlein purpura (HSP). Methods The feces of 64 children with HSP (the experimental group) and 25 healthy children (the control group) were collected. 16S rRNA/DNA fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction were performed to detect bacterial content of Lactobacillus, Biifdobacterium and Escherichia coli in feces. Results The amounts of Lactobacillus, and Biifdobacterium in the HSP group were lower than those of the healthy group, and the amounts of E.coli were higher, but the differences were not statistically signiifcant. The amounts of Lactobacillus and Biifdobacterium in the HSP children with gastrointestinal symptoms (abdominal pain, vomiting, e.g.) were signiifcantly lower than those in HSP children without gastrointestinal symptoms and in the healthy group. The difference was signiifcant (P<0.05). Conclusions It suggests that intestinal microlfora in children with HSP in acute phase may exist disorders, especially in the HSP children with gastrointestinal symptoms.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the effect of the platelet-derived growth factor-BB (PDGF-BB) on the phenotypic transformation of corpus cavernosum smooth muscle cells (CCSMC) in SD rats.
METHODSCCSMCs were primarily cultured in the modified tissue sticking medium and subjected to immunofluorescence assay. The cells were divided into a blank control and four PDGF-BB groups, the latter exposed to 5, 10, 20, and 40 ng/ml of PDGF-BB, respectively, for 24 hours, and the cells in the 20 ng/ml PDGF-BB group treated for 24, 48, and 72 hours. The the relative expressions of α-SMA, SMMHC, calponin, and OPN mRNA were determined by real-time fluorescence quantitative RT-PCR (qRT-PCR).
RESULTSThe α-SMA positive rate of the CCSMCs was over 95%. Compared with the blank control group, the expression levels of α-SMA, SMMHC, and calponin mRNA were significantly decreased (P < 0.05) while that of OPN mRNA remarkably increased (P < 0.05) in the PDGF-BB groups. The 20 ng/ml PDGF-BB group also showed significantly downregulated expressions of α-SMA, SMMHC, and calponin mRNA (P < 0.05) and upregulated expression of OPN mRNA (P < 0.05) at 24, 48, and 72 hours.
CONCLUSIONPDGF-BB can induce the transformation of the phenotype of CCSMCs in SD rats from the contractile to the synthetic type.

Microbiology 1992;0(04):-
A research combined trickling filter system and active sludge aeration system was applied in the treatment of industrial wastewater from gas-generating with heavy oil. The wastewater contained both high contents of NH+4-N and mixed hydrocarbons including various PAHs. Its BOD5/COD ratio was less than 0.3 and belongs to recalcitrant, toxic wastewater. The results showed a touch-growth biofilms system was formed on the porous packing material and it played a key role in the decrease of toxicity of the influent. It could also improve the biodegradability of the wastewater.

Chinese Journal of Cancer 2001;20(4):409-411
Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of chemotherapy combined with radiotherapy for the treatment of the patients with advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Methods: Between June,1992 and January,1995, 110 patients with Stage Ⅲ , Ⅳ a nasopharyngeal carcinoma ( 92 stage system) at random received one course of chemotherapy [cisplatin 20 mg· (m2· d)-1 iv on days 1-5 and 5-fluorouracil 500 mg· (m2· d)-1 iv on days 1-5.] before radiotherapy (which started 3 days after the first cycle of chemotherapy ) and three to five cycles of postradiotherapy chemotherapy (chemotherapy/radiotherapy: including 55 patients) or radiotherapy alone (radiotherapy group:including 55 patients). The methods and time/dose schedule of radiotherapy were similar in the two groups. Results: The 5-year survival rate was 65.5% in the chemotherapy/radiotherapy as compared with 34.5% in the radiotherapy group (P=0.0012). The primary lesion control rates were 69.1% (chemotherapy/radiotherapy) and 43.6% (radiotherapy group), respectively(P=0.0071). The cervical lymph node control rates were 67.3% (chemotherapy/radiotherapy) and 45.4% (radiotherapy group), respectively (P=0.021). The distant metastatic rate was 21.8% (chemotherapy/radiotherapy) versus 41.8% (radiotherapy group), respectively (P=0.0243). There was no significant difference in the incidence and severity of acute mucositis between the two groups during radiotherapy. Conclusion:This prospective study has demonstrated that alternating cisplatin/5-fluorouracil chemotherapy and early administration of locoregional radiotherapy can improve the survival and local disease control , and delay the distant metastasis in the patients with advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the clinical effects and prevent the complications of posterior and anterior decompression and internal fixation in the revision of cervical anterior internal fixation failure.
METHODSFrom 2008 January to 2011 December, 17 patients with cervical anterior internal fixation failure were treated with posterior and anterior decompression and internal fixation. There were 12 males and 5 females, aged from 26 to 68 years old with an average of 44.1 years. The lower screw loosening was found in 6 cases, the upper screw loosening in 5 cases, titanium mesh caving in 3 cases, the upper screw breakage in 2 cases, the lower screw breakage in 1 case. Informations of bone fusion were observed by X-ray, CT, MRI. Clinical effects were evaluated by modified JOA score.
RESULTSAll the revision operations were successfully completed. One case with poor blood coagulation function before operation resulted in postoperative hematoma and occurred neurological symptoms; after hematoma removal and fresh frozen plasma infusion later, neurological symptoms of the patient disappeared. All patients were followed up from 6 to 38 months with an average of (22.4±10.0) months. Postoperative at 2 weeks, 3 months, and final follow-up, JOA score had obviously improved and respectively was 13.1±1.6, 13.4±1.6, 14.2±1.5. All internal fixation locations were good after revision, and obtained bone fusion at 10 months after operation, with an average fusion time of 6 months.
CONCLUSIONThe combined posterior and anterior decompression and internal fixation in the revision of cervical anterior internal fixation failure is safe, can achieve thoroughly decompression, maintain the cervical curvature, reconstruct the three column stability, and it may be used for the patients of cervical anterior fixation failure.
