Objective To determine the relation between level of caloric responses and temperature of stimulus. Methods An bithermal caloric air irrigator was used to obtain maximum slow component speed caloric responses of 120 patients reported history of dizziness. The nystagmus was measured and recorded by electronystagmography. Results The maximum slow-phase speed of the responses to hot air was greater than that to cold air ( P

Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(18):-
[Objective]To evaluate the method and curative effect of posterior internal fixation and bone grafting fusion for atlantoaxial fracture or dislocation.[Method]Posterior internal fixation and bone grafting fusion were made on 26 patients with atlantoaxial fracture or dislocation in condition of tracheal intubation anesthesia.Occipitocervieal fixation(Aixs) and bone grafting fusion were performed on patients with fracture of vertebral lamina-arch.Vertebral lamina splint fixation (Apofix) was performed on patients without fracture of vertebral lamina-arch and decompression of vertebral canal.[Result]Followed up for 5 to 60 months(averaged,16.8 months),the vertebral artery and spinal cord injury were not occurred and clinical symptom was relieved in all patients.X ray examination showed screws in vertebral articular process and occipital condyle were normotopic without laxation and fragmentation. The bone grafting transformed into osseous fusion after 3 months.[Conclusion]Aixs fixation and bone grafting fusion and Apofix fixation are effective methods for atlantoaxial fracture or dislocation.

Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(12):-
Objective: To develop a method to determine the content of a atractylenolideⅠ in Xiangshayangwei Pills. Methods: Reverse Phase HPLC was used to determine the content of atractylenolideⅠ in Xiangshayangwei Pills. The separation was performed on YWG ODS column with methol water (60∶40) as a mobile phase and the wavelength of UV detector was 220nm. Results: The linearity of this method was well with the average recovery of 99.54%. Conclusion: The method is simple, reliable, and sensitive. It also shows good separating degree. It can be used in quality controll of Xiangshayangwei Pills.

Objective To investigate the probable pathologic basis of amido proton transfer(APT) imaging by analysing APT signal intensity and pathologic features of different grades of glioma. Methods Twenty-eight patients with glioma confirmed by postoperative pathology underwent APT scan. All the patients were divided into two groups, including 11 cases in low grade (WHO Ⅰ and Ⅱ) and 17 cases in high grade (WHO Ⅲ and Ⅳ) group. The APT rate of tumor core was measured. The specimens were processed with routine hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining and immunohistochemistry of Ki-67 and CD34.Independent-samples t test was used to detect the difference of APT rate, cellularity, microvessel density and Ki-67 labeling indices of tumor core between low grade and high grade group.Pearson correlation analysis and multi-variable linear regression analysis were used to detect the relationship of APT rate with cellularity, microvessel density and Ki-67 labeling indices of the tumor core. Results The APT rate, cellularity and proliferation index were (2.3±0.6) %,(9.4±2.4) % and (14.2±5.4) % in low grade group, while (3.6±0.7) %,(18.4±4.7) % and (31.7±4.5) % in high grade group, respectively.Microvessel density was (19.0±7.4) per high-power field in low grade group and (38.9±11.3) in high grade group. There were statistical differences of the APT rate, cellularity, microvessel density and proliferation index between the low grade group and the high grade group (t=-4.94,-5.89,-5.13,and-9.28,respectively,P<0.01).The APT rate was positive correlated with cellularity, microvessel density and proliferation index. The coefficient of correlation were 0.904,0.598,and 0.750,respectively,(P<0.01).Multiple linear correlative analysis showed that increasing cellularity (X1),microvessel density (X2) and proliferation index (X3) were the main factors for increasing APT rate, and the correlation equation was Y=0.801 + 0.12X1-0.003X2 + 0.026X3 (F=46.437,P<0.01,R2=0.853).Conclusions The APT signal intensity of the tumor core could reflect the pathologic features of glioma. The APT rate was positive correlated with cellularity, microvessel density and proliferation index, which indicate the higher APT rate the higher grade tumor.

Chinese Journal of Medical Library and Information Science 2016;25(3):40-44
Objective To provide the service for scientific innovation and competition in biomedical industry of Hunan Province and the reference for working out biomedical patent strategies. Methods The data of biomedical patents in Hunan Province were collected using the patentEX and processed by metrics. Results The application number of patents increased from year to year with a high expiry rate. The technology of biomedical patents has entered into its mature period and the application of patents was focused on several important IPC classifications. Conclusion Tra-ditional technologies play a main role in biomedical industry of Hunan Province, but Hunan Province is relatively backward in modern biological technologies. The application number of invented biomedical patents is rather large, but their overall academic level is rather low.The majority of biomedical industry enterprises lack of competition awareness. It is thus necessary to strengthen the development of modern biological technologies, improve the aca-demic level of biomedical patents, increase the competition awareness of biomedical industry enterprises, lay stress on cooperative development of biomedical patents and on support of biomedical industry enterprises.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(04):-
As with all neurologic reflex mechanisms, efferent activity is brought about by afferent input. Furthermore, the superimposed voluntary control, which is a critical feature of social continence, is largely determined by sensations of bladder fullness. In recent years, interest in the pathophysiology of urinary incontinence has shifted from a focus on the detrusor muscle to the afferent innervation of the bladder. In this respect, it is notable that investigations of detrusor muscle function are often performed in the absence of an intact urothelium and lamina propria, along with their sensory innervation. This review will summarize the results from recent animal and human experiments.

Objective To investigate the significance of the Children's Rehabilitation Management System (ICR 2.0) for occupational therapy (OT) for cerebral palsy (CP). Methods 60 children with CP were divided into group A (n=30) and group B (n=30). The group A accepted OT program assisted with ICR 2.0, and the group B accepted OT program drawn by therapists experientially. They were assessed with Enjoji infant development scale and Fine Motor Function Measure (FMFM) before and 3 months after treatment. Results There was no significant difference in development months and the fine motor between 2 groups before treatment (P>0.05). Both the development and fine motor improved after treatment (P<0.001), and improved more in the group A than in the group B (P<0.05). Conclusion ICR 2.0 assisted OT program can further improve the recovery of children with CP.
