Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1982;0(03):-
Objective To investigate the influences of large-scale military exercise on immune and endocrine secretory function of soldiers. Methods The psychological stress self-evaluation test(PSET)was applied on 126 officers and soldiers before and after the military exercise.Radioimmunoassay(RIA)technique was employed to determine the contents of serum interlukine-2(IL-2),interlukine-6(IL-6),interlukine-8(IL-8),tumor necrosis factor(TNF),cortisol(Cor)and aldosterone(Ald)in 126 subjects. All data were processed by correlation analysis. Results Compared with that of before exercise, the contents of serum IL-2 declined significantly(P

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1982;0(03):-
Objective To investigate the correlation between psychological stress status and the personality of the soldiers who took part in a large-scale military exercise. Methods The psychological stress self-evaluation test (PSET), SCL-90 game and Eysenck personality questionnaire (EPQ) were conducted in 126 servicemen before and after a field military exercise. Correlation between psychological stress status and their personality profile was studied versus the SCL-90 after military exercise. Results 126 servicemen who had taken part in the military exercise were tested with PSET. The number of persons whose PSET data T≥70 increased from 9 before the exercise to 35 after the exercise (P

AIM: To study the effect of bone marrow stem cell transplantation on mdx mice at different ages. METHODS: The bone marrow stem cells of C57BL/6 mice (4 - to-weeks age) were cultured in vitro for 3 days, then injected intravenously into the 6 -week and 8-week aged mdx, which were preconditioned with 7 Gy ? ray. 12 weeks after being transplanted, the mdx mice were studied for the dystrophin protein expression on the skeletal muscle membrane. RESULTS: Three months after transplanted with bone marrow stem cells, about 16% and 7% muscles cells in 6-week and 8-week mdx mice expressed dystrophin protein, respectively. CONCLUSION: 12 weeks after transplantation with bone marrow stem cells of homologous series mice, different amounts of dystrophin protein expressed on the membrane of skeletal muscle cells were observed in different aged mdx mice. Bone marrow stem cell transplantation show more benefic effect for younger mdx mice.

Objective To study the cognitive behavior and intervention therapy for elder patients to preventing tumble. Methods 156 elder patients were selected in intervention group, which have accepted the cognitive behavior and intervention therapy.155 elder patients were selected in control group, they have not accepted this therapy.Compared the results of these 2 groups. Results (99.72%) patients in interevention group have mastered the knowledges of preventing tumble, which was significant higher than the 66.40% in control group(P

Objective To observe the curative effect in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE) complicated by moderate or severe thrombocytopenia with a blood platelet count(BPC) of under 50 × 109/L and analyze its related factors. Methods We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data on 109 SLE patients with mod-erate or severe thrombocytopenia. Results Of the 109 patients,82(75.2%)had complete response(CR),15 (13.8%)had partial response(PR),and 12(11.0%)had no response(NR),respectively. As compared with the CR+PR group, the NR group had a higher incidence rate of decreased bone marrow megakaryocyte(P < 0.05). However, there were no significant differences between the two groups in SLEDAI scores, rates of positive PAIg and ACA,and levels of C3 and C4(P>0.05 for all comparisons). The total effectiveness rate did not differ signifi-cantly between MP pulse therapy and high-dose corticosteroid therapy. Conclusions A decrease in bone marrow megakaryocytes can be an adverse factorfor affecting the efficacy in patients with SLE complicated by moderate or severe thrombocytopenia.
