Objective To compare different delayed scanning methods in multi-slice spiral CT angiography (MSCTA)in diagnosis of pulmonary embolism (PE). Methods Sixty patients with suspected PE were divided into three groups (A, B and C). MSCT with same Iodine concentration, injection rate, contrast medium but different delayed scanning methods was performed after injection of contrast medium. Patients in group A were examined with fixed time method (15 s), in group B with small dose-density curve method, while in group C with contrast medium track and triggering technoligy. The number, position and the shapes of emboli were evaluated with MIP, MPR and VR. Results The successful examination rate of group A was 55.00% (11/20), while of group B and C was both 100%. The coincidence rate of MSCTA compared with DSA in each group was 96.04% (291/303). Conclusion The best delayed scanning method in MSCTA for diagnosis of pulmonary embolism is contrast medium tracking and triggering technology.

Objective To study the rhythmic changes of 24 h ambulatory blood pressure in pre-eclampsia(PE)patients and come up with coping strategies. Method The levels and circadian variations of blood pressures in 240 pre-eclampsia patients were monitored and observed with 24 h ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. Results Among the 240 PE cases,121 were diagnosed as mild PE and 119 as severe PE.There were significant differences in the average of 24 h circadian variation, the average of date time variation, decreased blood pressure at night time between the two groups(all P<0.05). Conclusion Through ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, nurses can monitor the rhythmic changes of 24 h ambulatory blood pressure, make reasonable arrangements for the treatment and care operations, reduce the factors that induce eclampsia and ensure the safety of mother and baby .

The paper is aimed to study the difference in yield and quality at different harvest time and determine the optimum harvest of planting Gentiana in Ludian traditional harvest period. The authors analyzed the variation in fresh weight, dry weight, dry discount rate, length, diameter, volume and the content of gentiopicroside, loganin acid, alcohol-soluble extract and total ash and made a comprehensive appraisal of yield, appearance quality and intrinsic quality by gray relational distance ideal Comprehensive Evaluation method. The results showed that there is a big difference in yield and quality both 2-year-old and 3-year-old Gentiana harvested in traditional harvest period and the comprehensive evaluation more better when harvested more later. It can be seen, Gentiana harvested the later had a better yield and quality in Ludian traditional harvest period. The harvest of Gentiana can be appropriate delayed depending on the particular circumstances of production.

Objective:To discuss the characteristics of auditory brainstem response in preterm very low birth weight (VLBW) babies and to investigate the correlations between the ABR and clinical characteristics. Method: Fifty-nine VLBW babies (118 ears) were enrolled in the study and 30 term normal babies as the control group. Tympanometry, acoustic reflex, DPOAE, ABR were obtained in all the babies. Result:The prevalence of hearing loss in VLBW babies was higher than normal term babies and babies with perinatal complications higher than those without perinatal complications. There was no correlations between ABR threshold and gestational age, birth weight, postconceptional age, negative correlations between wave Ⅰ,Ⅲ and Ⅴ latencies Ⅰ-Ⅲ ,Ⅲ-Ⅴ and Ⅰ-Ⅴ intervals and postconceptional age. Wave Ⅰ and Ⅴ latencies, Ⅰ-Ⅲ and Ⅲ-Ⅴ intervals differed significantly between the two groups. Conclusion:The perinatal complications were the most important causes of the hearing loss in preterm VLBW babies than the gestational age and birth weight. There was a high prevalence of peripheral hearing loss in the preterm VLBW babies. Combining OAE and automated ABR should be applied for hearing screening. Regular follow-up was very important in all the preterm VLBW neonatal.
