Objective:To deeply study and explore the cognitive and barrier factors of clinical nurses' nutrition management in patients with pressure injury (PI), and provide evidence for developing quantifiable standardized management model and strengthening individualized nutrition management.Methods:A semi-structured in-depth interview was conducted with 11 nurses. The NVivo10.0 software and Colaizzi's 7-step analysis of phenomenological data were used to analyze interview data.Results:The study summarized four themes that hindered nutrition management: subjective judgment bias; education training lags behind and radiates one-sided; lack of policy and configuration; conflict between workload, roles and perceptions.Conclusions:There are many obstacles to the implementation of nutrition management in patients with PI. An objective, feasible and standardized nutrition management plan should be established, support should be provided by policy, configuration and information system, and relevant knowledge training and multi-team cooperation should be strengthened to improve patient life.

Objective To explore serum ECP level of Xinjiang Uygur population and study the correlation of ECP with bronchial asthma,as well as their clinical significance in asthmatic patients in different degrees,so as to elucidate the role of ECP in the pathogenesis of bronchial asthma.Methods Between 2004 and 2005,123 Uygur asthmatics and 89 normal healthy controls with the same ethnic near Xinjiang Hetian region were investigated.The serum ECP were detected using a pharmarcia UniCAP 100 type instrument,pulmonary ventilatory function assessed by FEV_1 and PEF.Results Our data showed that the levels of S-ECP in moderate to severe asthma patients were significantly higher than in mild subjects and control group(P

The latest literatures showed that the anti-platelet aggregation drugs had a good application in cardiovascular disease, however still with hemorrhage side effects and some new drugs' mechanism was unknown. So further investigations on the mechanism of anti-platelet aggregation are necessary to discover a new type of anti-platelet drugs, such as antagonists of the EP3 receptor.

ObjectiveTo study the effects of Morroniside on platelet aggregation in rabbits induced by Adenosine diphosphate (ADP), Arachidonic acid (AA), Platelet activating factor (PAF). MethodsThe platelet aggregation was determined by Born's method. ResultsCompared with the controls, Morroniside inhibited platelet aggregation induced by ADP, AA, PAF （P<0.001）and especially selective on ADP. ConclusionMorroniside inhibited platelet aggregation in rabbits, especially induced by ADP.

The present paper reports a systematic research of the antifatigue effect of Flammulina velutipes. The antifatigue effect was judged by the examination of serum lactate dchydrogenase activity, level of blood lactic acid, serum urea nitrogen, muscle and liver glycogen,The experiments indicated that feeding Flammulina velutipes to mice for several days the lactate dehydrogenase activity, muscle and liver glycogeu levels were significantly higher than that of the control. After exercise, the levels of blood lactate and serum urea nitrogen were significantly lower than those of control. After exercise, the recovery rate of lactic acid was much faster than that of control.From the above results, we concluded the Flammulina velutipes may have significant effect on the capability of adaptation to heavy exercise and prevention or elimination of fatigue after exercise.

Objective To report the clinical outcome of L3～L5 fractures treated with USS short segmental pedicel screw system. Methods From 1994 to 2004, 57 cases of lower lumbar fractures were treated, of which 21 cases were treated with USS pedicel screw system. There were 12 cases of L3 fracture, 8 cases of L4 fracture and 1 cases of L5 fracture. The intervertebral height and lumbar lordosis were evaluated both before and after operation, the spinal impingement of bone was evaluated on CT scan, the neurofunction was evaluated with Frankle system and the clinical outcomes were evaluated with Charles system. Results The operation time ranged from 90 min to 150 min, averaging 120 min. The bleeding volume ranged from 100 ml to 600 ml, averaging 350 ml. The Frankle scores increased from 3.7 to 4.5 after operation. The intervertebral height of the fractured vertebral body increased from preoperative 30%to 60%to postoperative 70%to 100%(averaging 87%). The lumbar lordosis angel increased from preoperative 35.2?8.3o to postoperative 38.3?10.2o. The mobilization time was 3d to 2w, and the time for resuming work was 3 to 6w. The 3 to 30 months follow ups (averaging 15m) showed that the clinical outcomes were excellent in 9 cases, good in 9 cases, fair in 2 in and poor in 1. Conclusion The advantages of treating the lower lumbar fractures with short segmental USS pedicel screw system are effective restoration of intervertebral body height, lumbar lordosis and spinal volume, prevention of long term lumbago and lumbar stenosis, as well as early mobilization and return to work.

To clarify the effects of zinc on the proliferation and apoptosis of cultured human retinal pigment epithelia (RPE) and the expression of caspase-3 in RPE cells. The effect of Zinc on the proliferation of RPE were examined with MTT method. TUNEL method was used to detect the apoptosis of RPE cells. Caspase-3 was detected by immunohistochemistry. A concentration of zinc higher than 0.001 microM could inhibit the proliferation of RPE. And the relationship between concentration of zinc higher than 10 microM and growth prohibition rate of RPE cells was dose-dependent. All concentrations of zinc including 0.001 microM enhanced the expression of caspase-3 of RPE. But only the concentration of zinc higher than 0.01 microM could induce apoptosis of RPE. It is concluded that zinc could enhance the expression of caspase-3 of RPE cells and induce apoptosis of RPE cells. Caution should be taken when using zinc supplements for the treatment of ARMD patients without deficiency of zinc.
