1.The influence of body weight level of school-age children on later development of physcial growth and blood pressure
Chongqing Medicine 2014;(8):900-902
Objective To study the effects of body weight status in school-age children on later development of physcial growth , physcial growth ,and blood pressure .Methods Physical examination records of schoolchildren completed in 2005 and in 2009 in one district of Chongqing was used by information matching to identify the same person in two examinations .The body weight in former examination was grouped according to the national reference of weight by age ;the effects of this body weight level on the changes of weight ,height ,and blood pressure between two examinations were analyzed .Results There were 10 373 subjects aged from 6-14 years old were linked between two examinations .Results showed that in younger children underweight was associated with a higher increasments of weight and height .The increment of blood pressure was negatively associated with weight in younger children but this relationship disappeared or reversed in older children .The increment of blood pressure was also positively associated with the weight gain in all children ,no effects of height gain on blood pressure was founded .Conclusion Underweight usually has a catch up development of weight and hieght before puberty ,underweight in younger school age ,more weight gain and overweight in older school age mihgt be the risk factors of hypertension .

Objective To investigate the effects of loop electrosurgical excision procedure(LEEP) on preg- nancy and delivery outcome in patients with CIN3.Methods Fifty-eight patients with CIN3 who were considering future pregnancies underwent LEEP from January 2003 to December 2006,and their following reproductive perfor- mances and delivery outcomes were observed. Results The mean time of the follow-up survey was 21 months(range from 6~42 months). There were 34 cases getting intrauterine pregnancies and 4 cases getting ectopic pregnancies. Among the 34 cases of intrauterine pregnancies,4 terminated by induced abortion and 1 by delayed abortion in early stage.21 cases delivered termed baby vaginally and 7 underwent cesarean section. No cervical dystocia had been re- ported. No disease recurrence had been found until the end of follow-up survey. Conclusion Loop electrosurgical ex- cision procedure is a safe and effective treatment for patients with CIN3.It will not effect the pregnancy and delivery outcome after LEEP.

China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(09):-
Specialists in the south of the five Ridges LUO Zhi-yuan think that upper-jiao syndrome of bubonic plague appears in the second and third days,middle-jiao syndrome in the period of the third to the sixth days, and lower-jiao syndrome appears at the seventh day.Upper-jiao syndrome of bubonic plague is the most complicated, including the severe syndrome, the critical syndrome, the deadly syndrome. They summarize the six symptoms and signs in middle-jiao of bubonic plague, including "extreme heat and thirst, black and prickly tongue, abdominal distention and pain, stercoroma and delirium, heat accumulation with watery diarrhea, cold feeling of the whole body and hidden pulse",and the four symptoms and signs in middle-jiao,including "pain, distention, stercoroma, heat accumulation with watery diarrhea".They also pointed out that preserving body fluid is key for treating lower-jiao syndrome of bubonic plague.

China Biotechnology 2006;0(08):-
Thrombolytic therapy is a safe and effective way to cure thrombosis. Developing the safe, effective and cheap therapeutic thromolytic agents are important to prevent and cure thrombosis. In recent years, several fibrinolytic enzymes have been found in the resources of Asian traditional fermented foods, such as Japanese natto,Korea Chungkook-Jang,Chinese Douchi and fermented shrimp paste. These fibrinolytic enzymes secreted by food-grade microorganisms are safe and effective, and are potent thrombolytic agents. The physical and biochemical properties, thrombolytic characteristics, and the potential applications of these fibrinolytic enzymes from Asian fermented food, are reviewed.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(30):-
Vascular or endoluminal stent is a stent implanted in the lesion site to support stenosis vessels based on luminal balloon expansion,to reduce vascular elasticity recoil and remoulding, and maintain blood flow patent. Some stents can also prevent vascular restenosis.Stent size, surface coverage, radial supporting, extensibility, longitudinal recoil, fatigue test, material composition,corrosion-resistance,coagulation,surface roughness and biocompatibility(blood compatibility) are performance parameters to evaluate the stents.Vascular or endoluminal stent has been widely used in arterial and venous systems and non-vessel luminal systems. The incidence of complications following stenting is 11.6%,including acute or subacute thrombogenesis, restenosis,or stent dislocation. It is commonly demonstrated that intrastent restenosis is caused by hyperblastosis.
8. Multi-variate analysis of the prognostic factors for early stage Hodkin's lymphoma
Tumor 2008;28(6):510-513
Objective: There is controversy about the prognostic factors for early stage Hodgkin's lymphoma (HL). The aim of this study is to investigate the prognostic factors for HL at early stage. Methods: The clinical data from 188 patients were analyzed retrospectively. One hundred patients (53.2%) received radiotherapy (RT) alone and 88 cases (46.8%) received combined chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The 5-year and 10-year overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS) rates were estimated by Kaplan-Meier survival analysis with log-rank test. The prognostic factors were determined by COX proportional hazards model. Results: The 5-year and 10-year OS rates were 84.5% and 76.3% for patients who received radiotherapy alone, respectively; they were 96.2% and 96.2% for those patients who received combined chemotherapy and radiotherapy, respectively (P = 0.340). The 5-year and 10-year DFS rates were 84.7% and 76.9% for patients who received radiotherapy alone, respectively; they were 93.4% and 71.8% for patients who received combined therapy, respectively (P = 0.015). Univariate analysis indicated that tumor size and patients' age (with the cut-off of 40 years old) were the prognostic factors for predicting OS (P = 0.002 and 0.001) and DFS rate (P = 0.033 and 0.019). The pathological type had marginal significance in predicting OS rate (P = 0.072) and B symptoms had marginal significance in predicting DFS rate (P = 0.072). Multivariate analysis indicated that five factors including age (P =0.022), gender (P = 0.036), tumor size (P = 0.024), the drainage areas of involved lymph nodes (with the cut-off of 3 areas) (P = 0.060), and clinical stage (P = 0.028) had significance or marginal significance for predicting HL. Conclusion: Being more than 40 years old, male, clinical stage II, bulky disease, and the number of involved mediastinum and lymph node regions ≥3 are the independent prognostic factors for patients with early HL.

Objective To establish rat models with Alzheimer's disease(AD) induced by ?-amyloid,and to observe the effects of nicotine on learning and memorizing ability of the rats. Methods Aggregated A?1-40 was injected into the bilateral basal forebrain of the rats.Learning and memorizing ability of the rats were inspected through Morris water maze test. The effects of nicotine on learning and memorizing ability of the rats induced by ?-amyloid peptide were observed. Results The learning and memorizing ability of AD animal models injected aggregated(A?1-40) for 2 weeks decreased(P
