1.Effects of erigeron breviscapus on suture osteogenesis during maxillary protraction
Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 2004;0(05):-
Objective To understand the effects of Erigeron Breviscapus(EB) on suture osteogenesis during maxillary protraction in animal models. Methods The experiment was carried in 16 pubertal rabbits using self-made distraction devices during maxillary protraction, through which a forward elastic force(about 350 g) was exerted.During maxillary protraction, the experimental group underwent Erigeron Breviscapus, injected about(0.4mL) at either side of premaxilla-maxillary suture every day,and the control group were injected physiological saline.Undecalcified tissue slices labeled by serial tetracycline fluorochrome for 28 days were prepared for examination of the newly formed bone by computer image analysis. The results were compared between the two groups. Results The quantity of newly formed bone was significantly different between the two groups. The experimental group showed more newly formed bones than the control group. Conclusion EB can promote suture osteogenesis during maxillary protraction in the model.

3.Analysis of genomic structure of a novel RHD allele
Chinese Journal of Blood Transfusion 1988;0(02):-
Objective To analyze the genomic structure of a novel RHD allele. Methods Through polymerase chain reaction (PCR), sequence specific primer-PCR(SSP-PCR) and genomic DNA sequencing, the RHD gene in a D-negative individual was detected. Results In SSP-PCR tests, the sample was tested negative for exons 3~7, 9~10 and intron 2(Din 2), but was positive for the Rh downstream Box3. The RHCE genotype was Ccee. Three PCR methods were used to detect intron 10(Din10) of RHD gene;all gave negative results. Through a RHD full length coding region sequencing method, the sample was found to have sequences identical to normal RHD in exons 1 and 2, while exons 3~10 were negative. Conclusion The sample is D antigen negative, RHD gene positive, with amalgamative allele of RHD-CE(2~10).
5.Research progress on retinal protection of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells
International Eye Science 2015;(5):799-802
?Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells ( BMSCs ) is a kind of adult stem cells mainly enriched in bone marrow, which possesses multiple differentiation potential and can differentiate into trans-germinal layer. lt is easy for BMSC to be isolated and cultured, which has the ability of repairing various tissues with efficient proliferation and expression. BMSC could be used as seed cell for the transplantation therapy of retinal disease because of its properties of immunoregulation and neurotrophin secretion. This review focuses on research progress on retinal protection of BMSCs.
6.Acupuncturists and their academic contributions in Lingnan area: a review.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2014;34(6):611-614
The academic thoughts of Lingnan acupuncture and moxibustion have been an essential part of Lingnan medicine. By exploration and arrangement of Lingnan medicine and books, journals and literatures regarding acupuncture and moxibustion, the ancient and modern acupuncturists and their academic contributions in Lingnan area were reviewed. As a result, the number of Lingnan acupuncturists and their works was low before Qing Dynasty, while from the Republic of China era to People's Republic of China, a considerable amount of acupuncturists emerged with quite a lot of works. By exploration and arrangement of Lingnan acupuncturists and their works and academic opinion, the acupuncture-moxibustion school characterized by Lingnan could be formed and developed.

Chinese Journal of Virology 2015;31(5):585-592
The porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) can cause reproductive barriers in breeding pigs and respiratory symptoms in piglets. In this review, we summarize research progress of the infection and replication mechanisms of the PRRSV. We also review the virulence determinants of the PRRSV. All these fundamental studies are important for the control and elimination of the PRRSV.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2001;0(03):-
Objective:To study the multiple alternative sp l iceosome of nfic gene in postnatal rat molar tissues. Methods: 3 d postnatal SD rat molar tissues were removed and mRNA was obtained by magne tic beads coupled with oligo-dT18. Two pairs of primers specific to the nfic gene were designed, and nfic gene in the rat molar tissue was amplified b y RT-PCR method. The fragments were inserted into competent DH5? bacteria.Posit ive clones were selected randomly and evaluated by enzyme digestion and sequenci ng.Results:Three alternative spliceosomes of nfic gene with the size of 1.5 kb,900 bp and 650 bp respectively were obtained. The spliceosome s were named rNFIC-1、 rNFIC-2 and rNFIC-3 respectively. Conclusion s:The nfic gene is expressed in postnatal rat molar, and there is a multiple alternative splicing way for the nfic gene to play function.

Objective To investigate the expression and correlation of serum n-terminal pro brain natriuretic peptide(NT-pro BNP) and procalcitonin in patients with sepsis. Methods A total of 120 patients with sepsis and 40 healthy volunteers(control group) were enrolled.Sepsis patients were divided into general sepsis group, severe sepsis group and septic shock group according to the severity of the disease, each group of 40 cases.According to the prognosis of patients admitted to hospital after 28 d,all patients were divided into survival group and death group.Serum NT-pro BNP,PCT levels and acute physiology and chronic health status scores (APACHE-Ⅱ) were recorded. Results Compared with the control group, the serum levels of NT-pro BNP,PCT were significantly higher in sepsis group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05);As sepsis progressed, serum NT-pro BNP,PCT level and APACHE Ⅱ score were significantly increased among 3 groups(P<0.05).The serum levels of PCT,serum NT-pro BNP and APACHE Ⅱ score in the death group were significantly higher than those in the survival group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The sensitivity and specificity of serum NT-pro BNP were 81.34% and 86.27% and PCT was 83.08% and 88.61%,respectively.The level of serum NT-pro BNP and serum PCT levels were positively correlated (r=0.826,P<0.05),the serum NT-pro BNP level correlated with the APACHE Ⅱ score positively (r=0.756,P<0.05),serum PCT level and APACHE Ⅱ score were positively correlated (r=0.702,P<0.05).Conclusion Prediction and assessment of disease severity in patients with sepsis and survival have important clinical application value of serum NT-pro BNP and PCT levels in BNP.
