Objective To evaluate the effects of rabeprazole-based triple therapy for associated gastric ulcer caused by the helicobacter pylori(Hp) infection. Methods 100 patients with associated gastric ulcer caused by the Hp infection were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. The treatment group was given rabeprazole-based triple therapy( rabeprazole 10mg bid, amoxicillin 1.0g bid and clarithromycin 500mg bid), and the control group was given omeprazole-based triple therapy( omeprazole 20mg bid, amoxicillin 1.0g bid and clarithromycin 500mg bid). The two groups were given 7 days treatment. Results The total effective rate of clinical symptoms of treatment group was 96. 0% ,the healing rate of the treatment group was 88.0%, the total effective rate of gastroscopy effect of treatment group was 94.0% ,the Hp clearance rate of treatment group was 92.0% and the Hp eradication rate of treatment group was 90. 0% ,which were higher than the control group, but the difference was not significant( P > 0. 05 ). The two groups had no significant adverse reactions. Conclusion Rabeprazole-based triple therapy for associated gastric ulcer caused by the Hp infection was effective, safe and worth popularization and application.
2.Therapeutic effect and mechanism of Erhuang quzhi granules on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease in mice
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2022;57(9):2743-2750
Erhuang quzhi compounds is one of the protecting liver and inhibiting toxin prescriptions series summarized by Jinqi Yuan and other famous doctors of traditional Chinese medicine during the long-term clinical practice. It is very effective for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), but its mechanism is not clear. This research investigated mechanism of Erhuang quzhi granules (EQG) in the treatment of NAFLD. All the animal welfare and experimental procedures are in accordance with the regulations of the Animal Ethics Committee of the First Affiliated Hospital of Shihezi University. Mouse models of NAFLD were established by feeding with methionine and choline deficient diet (MCDD) for five weeks. While feeding MCDD, the treatment groups were given EQG (16.25 g·kg-1·d-1) and atorvastatin (ATO, 7.20 mg·kg-1·d-1) by gavage. The effects of EQG on serum biochemical indices, liver pathological changes, and inflammatory cytokines in mice of NAFLD were investigated. Quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR), immunocytochemistry (ICH) and Western blot assays were used to detect the levels of mRNA and protein associated with nuclear factor kappa B/Nod-like receptor protein 3 (NF-

Objective To compare the postoperative effect of pars plana vitrectomy, phacoemulsification and intraoeular lens (IOL)implantation with silicon oil removed, phacoemulsification and IOL implantation.Design A retrospective case-control study.Par- ticipants 91 cases(104 eyes)of proliferative diabetic retinopathy with tractive retinal detachment or vitreous hemorrhage were per- formed cataract surgery with IOL implantation. Methods All patients were followed up average 6 months,in whom 52 eyes with pars plana vitrectomy, phacoemulsification and IOL implantation(combined group),and the other 52 eyes with silicon oil removed,pha- coemulsification and IOL implantation(sequential group). The differences of the postoperative visual acuity and inflammatory reactions of the anterior chamber between the two groups were analyzed.Main outcome measures Visual acuity and inflammatory reactions of the anterior chamber. Results There were 14/52 eyes with best corrected visual acuity more than 0.1 in combined group and 8/52 eyes in the sequential group after the surgeries(X~2=-6.87,P=0.07) .Corneal edema happened in 16/52 eyes in combined group and 6/52 eyes in sequential group 1 week after the surgeries(X~2=11.53,P=0.001).Keratic precipitate happened in 20/52 eyes in combined group and 9/52 eyes in sequential group after the surgeries(X~2=5.79,P=0.019) .Conclusions The incidence of postoperative anterior chamber in- flammation is higher in Phacoemulsification combined with pars plana vitrectomy group.
9.The Relationship Between Influenza Peak and Weather in Hong Kong
Journal of Environment and Health 1989;0(06):-
Objective To discuss the relation between influenza peak, temperature and relative humidity. Methods Statistical analysis on the data of influenza consultation rates, temperature and relative humidity from 1998 to 2002 in Hong Kong area was carried out to propose some relation between influenza peak, temperature and relative humidity. Results It was slightly possible to cause influenza peak when the week-averaged temperature was less than 20 ℃ and largely possible to cause influenza peak when the week-averaged temperature was less than 15 ℃. It was also largely possible to cause influenza peak when the week-averaged temperature was very low and the relative humidity was higher which resulted the lower body-sense temperature compared with the forecasting temperature. Conclusion The prevalence of influenza occurs during four seasons in one year in Hong Kong, but the prevalence peak of influenza mainly appears under the condition of lower temperature(

Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2021;44(1):72-76
Objective:To explore the correlation between lower gastrointestinal tract symptoms and diabetic retinopathy and lower extremity artery disease in patients with type 2 diabetic mellitus. Methods:The clinical data of 128 patients with type 2 diabetic mellitus from August 2016 to March 2018 in Central Hospital of Shengli OilField were retrospectively analyzed. The general clinical data and laboratory indexes were recorded. The score was evaluated by lower gastrointestinal symptoms rating scale (LGSRS). Patients with the LGSRS score ≥6 scores were as positive group, and those with LGSRS score<6 scores were as negative group. Fundus photography and ultrasonic scanning of lower extremity artery disease were performed for each patient. The correlation between LGSRS score and diabetic retinopathy, lower extremity artery disease was analyzed by Logistic regression. Results:Positive group had 66 cases, and negative group had 62 cases. The age, duration of diabetic, LGSRS score and incidence of diabetic retinopathy in positive group were significantly higher than those in negative group: (64.24 ± 10.43) years vs. (59.57 ± 12.50) years, (14.67 ± 1.28) years vs. (10.98 ± 1.25) years, (8.65 ± 2.38) scores vs. (2.77 ± 1.49) scores and 98.48% (65/66) vs. 69.35% (43/62), and there were statistical differences ( P<0.05 or<0.01). There were no statistical difference in gender, body mass index, glycated hemoglobin, fasting blood glucose, 2 h postprandial blood glucose, triglyceride, total cholesterol and incidence of diabetic retinopathy between 2 groups ( P>0.05). After adjusting for age, duration of diabetic, glycated hemoglobin, fasting blood glucose, triglyceride and total cholesterol, the LGSRS score showed positive correlation with diabetic lower extremity artery disease ( OR = 1.174, 95% CI 1.065 to 1.470, P = 0.001), but there was no correlation between LGSRS score and diabetic retinopathy ( P = 0.313). Conclusions:In patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, lower gastrointestinal tract symptoms has positive correlation with diabetic lower extremity artery disease, and no correlation with diabetic retinopathy. It suggests that there may be a common pathological mechanism between lower gastrointestinal tract symptoms and diabetic lower extremity artery disease.
