1.Chlamydia pneumoniae infection and disease of respiratory system
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2001;14(3):262-264
As a species of acute respiratory tract pathogen in mankind, Chlamydia pneumoniae can cause upper respiratory tract infection, pneumonia, it may also play an important role in bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases, sarcoid, lung cancer.
2.Study of Manufacturing Technology for Acetaminophen Extended Release Tablets
China Pharmacy 1991;0(06):-
AIM: To achieve an optimum manufacturing process for acetaminophen extended release tablets. METHODS: To evaluate and set the manufacturing process according to the compressibility of the granule and the dissolubility of the finished tablets. RESULTS & CONCLUSION: The results showed that the bi-layer tablet technology was the most preferable pro- cess. The in vitro dissolution behavior and the in vivo bioavailability of the tablets are comparable to those of the imported products from McNEIL Consumer Healtheare Co. USA.
3.The impact of hypoxia-inducible transcription factor-1? on ovarian carcinoma cell
China Oncology 2006;0(11):-
Background and purpose:HIF-1? (Hypoxia-inducible factor-1?) is an important transcription factor under hypoxia condition. It plays the role of dominating the expressions of correlative genes. It also promotes tumor deterioration, tumor metastasis and tumor invasion. The molecular role of HIF-1? has been intensively studied in cancer basic research. This article is to investigate the expression of HIF-1? under hypoxic and reoxygenation induced by CoCl_ 2 and the impact of hypoxia-inducible transcription factor-1? on human ovarian carcinoma cell line HO-8910PM. Methods:Semi quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) is performed to detect the expression of HIF-1? mRNA in human ovarian carcinoma cell HO-8910PM exposed during the phase of hypoxia and reoxygenation. The relations of the quantity-efficiency and the time-efficiency were analyzed. The effects of HIF-1? gene on the proliferation, invasion and adhesion of HO-8910PM cell were estimated by either MTT, Boyden cell or cell adhesion tests.Results:There was endogenous expression of HIF-1? in human ovarian carcinoma cell line HO-8910PM. RT-PCR show that over-expression of HIF-1? mRNA could be measured under hypoxia induced by CoCl_ 2 (P

Chinese Journal of Radiation Oncology 2017;26(6):698-701
Pediatric cancer is one of the leading causes of death in children around the world.Although radiotherapy is an important means of treatment for pediatric cancer,it causes acute or chronic adverse events that may affect patients' survival time and quality of life.As a novel and advanced radiation technique,proton therapy allows for precise dose delivery in target volume,significantly reducing the irradiation to surrounding tissues and organs.Studies have shown that proton therapy is well tolerated in the treatment of pediatric cancer,and it achieves good tumor control;proton therapy is superior to traditional radiotherapy in improving quality of life,protecting intelligence,and reducing the risk of secondary cancer.This article reviews the research advances in the application of proton therapy in the treatment of pediatric cancer.
5.Characteristics of Phyllosphere and Epiphytes
Wen SHI ; Han-Bo ZHANG ;
Microbiology 1992;0(04):-
Phyllosphere and epiphytes have attracted significant interest of more and more researchers by their unique biological characteristics. Progress of research on phyllosphere and epiphytes was summarized in this paper, and the special emphasis was put on the characteristic of phyllosphere, microbial communities, invasion and the location of bacteria on leaf surfaces. Some ideas for further studies on phyllosphere microbes were also proposed.
7. Construction of lentivirus vectors carrying alphastatin gene and its secretion expression in human umbilical vein endothelia cells
Academic Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University 2010;22(3):168-174
Objective: To construct lentivirus vectors carrying alphastatin gene, test its secretion expression in human umbilical vein endothelia cells (HUVECs) and observe its effects on growth, migration and tube formation of HUVECs. Methods: We constructed recombinant lentivirus vectors of NT4-alphastatin fusion gene containing neurotrophin-4 signal peptide, pro-region sequences and alphastatin, then transfected the recombinant lentivirus vectors into HUVECs to obtain secretory protein alphastatin and test its anti-angiogenic activities in vitro. Results: Our data showed that recombinant self-inactivating lentivirus vectors of NT4-alphastatin were successfully constructed, and stable NT4-alphastatin transduced HUVECs were capable of sustainably secreting alphastatin which significantly suppressed HUVECs migration and differentiation but not VEGF-induced proliferation. Conclusion: This report represents the first time on the use of lentivirus-based vectors to deliver alphastatin, the endogenous angiogenesis inhibitor, and reveals the potential utility of anti-angiogenic gene therapy with lentivirus vectors for treating cancer.
