1.THE CHANGES OF FN AND LN IN PULMONARY ARTERY OF HYPOXIC RATS

Objective In order to investigate the mechanism of the remodeling of pulmonary vascular in hypoxic pulmonary hypertension,normobaric hypoxic rat model (FIO 2=10%)was used to observe the changes of fibronectin(FN)and leminin(LN)within the pulmonary artery by morphological methods. Methods The normobaric hypoxic chamber was used to establish the hypoxic rat model. The lungs were taken off and stained with immunohistochemical method.Some specimens were examined by electromicroscopy. Results Immunohistochemical analysis revealed progressive increase in the deposition of FN and LN,which was most prominent in hypoxia 7d group.The content of FN was higher than LN.Electromicroscope revealed that the SMC of tunia media had transitted from a contractile to a synthetic phenotype. Conclusion Long term hypoxic exposure resulted in increasing of FN and LN in the wall of pulmonary artery.These increase not only raise the tension and make thickening of the vessels themselves,but also provide an environment for the transition of SMC from a contractile to a synthetic phenotype.FN and LN played an important role in the remodeling of pulmonary vascular directly and indirectly. 2.Changes of bone mineral density, bone metabolism indices and Vitamin D receptor content in patients with hyperthyroidism

Bone mineral density (BMD) of lumbar spines, femoral neck, Ward′s triangle and greater trochanter was lowered, serum calcium, phosphate, alkaline phosphatase and bone Gla-protein levels were raised, and vitamin D receptor (VDR) contents in lymphocyte was lowered in hyperthyroid patients. Both FT 3 and FT 4 were negatively correlated with BMD, suggesting that hyperthyroidism results in high-turnover type of bone loss which causes the abnormalities of bone metabolic indices and VDR content.
3.Treatment of severe intestinal flora alteration induced by the Cefoperazone with the filtrate of fresh human dejecta

Objective To observe the effect of filtrate of normal human fresh dejecta on intestinal flora alteration.Methods 5 severe patients who treated with Cefoperazone suffered in intestinal flora alteration, 4 cases with candida albicans ans, 1 with Welch's basillus. After diagnosing, preserving clyster was done with filtrate of normal human fresh dejecta.Results 1 or 2 days after the treatment, the intestinal flora alteration disappeared.Conclusion The filtrate of normal human fresh dejecta is effective on the treatment of intestinal flora alternation.

5.Effect of sevoflurane on Survivin expression in human adenocarcinoma cell line A549

Objective To investigate the effects of different concentrations of sevoflurane on Survivin expression in human adenocarcinoma cell line A549. Methods A549 cells were obtained from Shanghai Cell Biology Medical Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences and inoculated in 96 well culture plate. After being cultured for 24 h, the cells were randomly divided into 4 groups: Ⅰ , Ⅱ , Ⅲ and Ⅳ groups exposed to 95 % O2 -5 %CO2,1.7%, 3.4% and 5.1% sevoflurane respectively. A549 cells were exposed to sevoflurane for 2, 4 and 6 h respectively and then cultured for another 48 h in Ⅱ , Ⅲ and Ⅳ groups. Proliferation of A549 cells were measured by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) assay, and apoptosis was detected with flow cytometer at 48 h after 2, 4 and 6 h sevoflurane exposure. The expression of Survivin in A549 cells was determined by Western blot analysis at 48h after 4 h sevoflurane exposure. Results The rate of proliferation inhibition and percentage of apoptotic cells were significantly higher while the expression of Survivin was significantly lower in a concentration-dependent manner in Ⅱ , Ⅲ and Ⅳ groups as compared with group Ⅰ . Conclusion Sevoflurane can inhibit proliferation and induce apoptosis of A549 cells by inhibition of Survivin expression.
6.Influence of cognitive function training on patients with Alzheimer's disease

Objective To investigate the influence of cognitive training on patients with Alzheimer's disease. Methods 30 patients received cognitive function training based upon drug treat-ment. Patients were assessed with mini- mental state examination (MMSE) and functional independence measure(FIM) before and after treatment, the results went through t test. Results After training, cog-nitive function and self- care ability after treatment greatly alleviated compared with those before train-ing. Conclusions Cognitive training can improve cognitive function and self- care ability of patients with Alzheimer's disease and facilitate their life quality.
7.Effects of isoflurane and sevoflurane on apoptosis and expression of CD44 and CD54 in human lung cancer cell line A549

Objective To investigate the effects of isoflurane and sevonumne on apoptosis and expression of CD44 and CD54 in human lung cancer cell line A549.Methods Human lung cancer A549 cells were obtained from Shanghai Cell Biology Medical Research Institute,Chinese Academy of Sciences,and inoculated in 24 well culture plate.After being cultured for 24 h the cells were randomly divided into 3 groups:group Ⅰ control(group C);group Ⅱ isoflurane (group Iso) and group Ⅲ sevoflurane (group Sev).A 549 cells were exposed to 1.7% isoflurane and 2.5%sevoflurane for 4 h respectively in group Iso and Sev respectively,and were then cultured for another 24 h.Apoptosis and expression of CD44 and CD54 in A549 cells were detected with flow cytometer at 0 (T0),2 h(T1) and 4 h(T2) of and 24 h after(T3) exposure to isoflurane and sevoflurane.Results The percentage of apoptotic cells wag significantly higher at T2 and T3 in group Iso than in group C.The percentage of apoptotic cells was significantly higher at T1,T2 and T3 in group Sev than in group Iso and C.The expression of CD44 and CD54 at T1,T2 and T3 was significantly decreased as compared with the baseline at T0 in group Iso and Sev and was significantly lower in group Iso and Sev than in group C.Conclusion Isoflurane and sevoflurane can induce apoptesis of human lung cancer cell line A549, and sevoflurane is more effective. Isoflurane and sevoflurane can inhibit the expression of CD44 and CD54 of human lung cancer cell line A549.
8.A comparative analysis on the effect of laparoscopic repair of gastric perforation with open surgery on pulmonary function

Objective To compare the effect of traditional open surgery and laparoscopic repair of gastric perforation on postoperative pulmonary function.Methods Fifty patients were divided into two groups according to therapeutic method.Group A underwent traditional open gastric perforation repair(n=25).Group B underwent laparoscopic repair of gastric perforation(n=25).The pulmonary functions were examined at 1 day,3 days and 7 days postoperatively.Results All patients had different degrees of postoperative pulmonary function decline.After operation,the forced vital capacity(FVC)and forced expiratory volume in 1 second(FEV1)and vital capacity(VC)in group A were significantly lower than those in preoperation(P<0.05).The patients in laparoscopic operation group decreased significantly only on the first day postoperative.The postoperative pulmonary function of patients undergoing open surgery was significantly lower than that of patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery(P<0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic repair of gastric perforation has less damage to the lung function than traditional open gastric perforation repair.Laparoscopic surgery plays an important role in the recovery of postoperative pulmonary function.
9.Effect of Bladder Curer on Neurogenic Bladder after Spinal Cord Injury

ObjectiveTo explore the effect of bladder curer in the treatment of patients with neurogenic bladder after spinal cord injury.Methods60 spinal cord injury patients with neurogenic bladder were randomly divided into intervention group (n=30) and control group (n=30). Comprehensive rehabilitation therapy was used in the two groups, but bladder curer was used only in intervention group. Residual urine in the bladder, incidence of urinary tract infection and course of achieving bladder balance were observed in the two groups.ResultsAfter 8 weeks, residual urine in the bladder decreased significantly in intervention group compared with control group, and the course of achieving bladder balance shortened significantly in intervention group compared with control group, but incidence of urinary tract infection had no difference between intervention group and control group. ConclusionBladder curer could decrease residual urine in the bladder early, and shorten the course of achieving bladder balance in the treatment of patients with neurogenic bladder after spinal cord injury.
10.Effect of Early Rehabilitation Therapy on Patients with Trihemiparalysis Sign Following Acute Stroke

ObjectiveTo explore the effect of early rehabilitation therapy in the treatment of patients with trihemiparalysis sign following acute stroke.Methods86 patients following acute stroke were divided into two groups, trihemiparalysis sign group(n=37) and non-trihemiparalysis sign group(with hemiplegia only, n=49). Standard rehabilitation therapy was used in both groups early. At admission and 3 months after treatment,both groups were assessed by using the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NHISS), Fugl-Meyer Assessment of motor (FMA) and Balance (FMB), Modified Barthel Index(MBI), and World Health Organization quality of life questionnaire (WHOQOL-BREF).ResultsAfter 3 months, patients in both groups scored significantly better in NHISS, FMA, FMB, MBI and PHYS, PSYCH, ENVIR of WHOQOL-BREF compared with that at admission. But the trihemiparalysis sign group improved less significantly in NHISS, FMA, FMB, MBI and PHYS, PSYCH of WHOQOL-BREF compared with non-trihemiparalysis sign group after treatment.ConclusionEarly rehabilitation therapy improved functional status and quality of life of acute stroke patients with trihemiparalysis sign, but showed not better than the patients with non-trihemiparalysis sign.
