The purity of 4,4′-dimethoxy-5,6,5′,6′-bis (methylenedioxy)-2′-morpholine methylenebiphenyl-2-methyl formate methanesulfonate (IMH), a new drug for fatty liver treatment, was determined through differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Analysis of two-factor non repeatability method was performed in the investigation the effects of two factors (heating rate and sample weight) on purity determination. The DSC experimental parameters were optimized as follows: heating rate was 10 ℃·min-1, temperature range was 150-300 ℃, sample weight was 2.0-4.1 mg, and N2 flow rate was 80 mL·min-1. The linear correlation coefficient (

Background There is multi-dimensional order of spatial stereopsis perception in human, however, current stereopsis examination is zero-order of position disparity.A multi-dimensional space perception model is very important for the detection of stereoacuity. Objective This study was to screen the deficit of zero-order,first-order,second-order multi-dimensional spatial stereopsis perception in amblyopia and strabismus children and to explore the association of zero-order,first-order,second-order spatial perception deficit. Methods Multidimensional spacial perception was examined in 79 children aged 4-14 years in Beijing Children' s Hospital.Nineteen normal children,19 children with ametropia amblyopia,12 children with anisometropic amblyopia,18 children with strabismus and 11 children with strabismus combined amblyopia were included this study. The random-dot and line spatial stereopsis perception in zero-order,first-order and second-order were examined with a new system of multidimensional space perception screening.Written informed consent was obtained from each subject or custodian before any ocular examination associated with this study. Results Absence of zero-order,first-order,second-order random-dot channel was found in 24 children (24/79,30.4%),18 children (18/79,22.8%) and 24 children (24/79,30.4%) respectively, with an average percentage of 27.9%.Absence of zero-order,first-order,second-order line channel was examined in 37 children (37/79,46.8%),37 children (37/79,46.8%),32 children (32/79,40.5%),with an average percentage of 44.7%.In the children with a deficiency of the zero-order spatial perception, the children who still remained the first-order or/and second-order spatial perception of random-dot accounted for 41.6% and that of lines accounted for 43.2%.In children without deficiency of zero-order random-dot or lines spatial space perception, deficiency of first-order and/or second-order spatial perception was in 37.5% children.Various order spatial perception deficiency was seen in children suffering from amblyopia or strabismus compared with normal group(P < 0.05).Conclusions There exists spatial perception deficiency in children with amblyopia or strabismus. The patients with zero-order spatial perception absence partially remain a first-order or/and second-order spatial perception;while the patients with normal zero-order spatial perception might have first-order or second-order spatial perception deficiency. The multi-dimensional space perception model has a directive role for the training of visual information process and the treatment of spatial perceptual learning in children with amblyopia or strabismus.

OBJECTIVETo observe the changes in Aβ40, Aβ42 and ADDLs in brains of 3 month-old APPswe/PS1dE9 double transgenic mice after six-month intervention with curcumin, in order to discuss the neuroprotective effect of curcumin.
METHODAPPswe/PS1dE9dtg mice were randomly divided into the model group, the Rosiglitazone group (10 mg x kg(-1) x d(-1)) and curcumin high (400 mg x kg9-1) x d(-1)), medium (200 mg x kg(-1) x d(-1)) and low (100 mg x kg(-1) x d(-1)) dosage groups, with C57/BL6J mice of the same age and the same background in the normal control group. After 6 months, the immunohistochemical staining (IHC) and the Western blot method were used to observe the changes in positive cell of Aβ40, Aβ42 and ADDLs in hippocampal CA1 area, their distribution and protein expressions.
RESULTBoth of the immunohistochemical staining and the Western blot method showed more positive cell of Aβ40, Aβ42 and ADDLs in hippocampal CA1 area and higher protein expressions in the model group than the normal group (P < 0.01). IHC showed a lower result in the Rosiglitazone group than the model group (P < 0.05), while Western blot showed a much lower result (P < 0.01). The number of Aβ40, Aβ42 and ADDLs positive cells and the protein expressions decreased in the curcumin high group, the medium group showed a significant decrease (P < 0.01), and the low dose group also showed reductions in the protein expressions of Aβ40 and Aβ42.
CONCLUSIONThe six-month intervention with curcumin can significantly reduce the expressions of hippocampal Aβ40, Aβ42 and ADDLs in brains of APPswe/PS1dE9 double transgenic mice. Whether curcumin can impact Aβ cascade reaction by down-regulating expressions of Aβ40, Aβ42 and ADDLs and show the neuroprotective effect needs further studies.

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2015;(9):44-46
To study the equipment modular allocation in the emergency medical unit after Beijing emergency public affairs. Using an improved Delphi method, 25 experts from various fields in Beijing were involved into two rounds consultations. The questionnaire of the first round consultation was formed based on analysis of emergency rescue equipment. Based on the result of the first round consultation, the questionnaire of the second round consultation was set up. The two rounds of questionnaires had the responding rates of experts 100% respectively, and the au-thoritative coefficients of the experts were 0.81 and 0.88. An emergency medical rescue equipment solution with three de-grees modular configuration in Beijing was made based on the consultations and experts' advices. The solu-tion develops the emergency medical service ability of mobile medical units and vehicle-mounted mobile hospital. LUO Ying and GAO Hong-wei are the first authors who contributecl equally to the article.

Objective To investigate the litholytic effect of stirring by plastic stem inside biliary tract in large common bile duct (CBD) stone. Methods Forty-five patients with large CBD stones were included in this study (8 with the distal bile duct stricture and 5 with too-small Vater's papilla).Plastic stent of 8.5Fr was inserted into the CBD under the guidance of guide wire in all the 45 patients. Results In 10 of the 45 patients, ERCP showed that there was no stone in CBD 3 months later after stent placement. In 22 cases, repeated ERCP revealed that the stone had become smaller to the extent of more than a half or became stone fragments that were easily extracted by baskets or balloon dilation. Thirteen patients continued to have large stone at the second time ERCP treatment, and a new stent was replaced and follow-up performed by B mode ultrasonography of abdominal region per month. Further endoscopic treatment was performed immediately when the stone became small enough. The percentage of 95.6% (43/45) of large CBD stone were eventually cleared after endoscopic treatment for an average of 2.4 times. There were no severe complications related to ERCP or stent placement. Conclusion Placement of plastic biliary stent is a convenient and effective measure for the treatment of large CBD stones. It is especially appropriate for aged patients of CBD stone of high risk.

Several kinds of column chromatography method were used to investigate the chemical constituents of the leaves of Lophatherum gracile. The structures of the isolated compounds were identified based on their physicochemical properties and spectral data. A new flavone C-glycoside was isolated and its structure was identified as 3'-methoxyl-luteolin 6-C-beta-D-galactopyranosiduronic acid (1 --> 2) -alpha-L-arabinopyranoside (1).
