3.Study progress of diagnosis of overactive bladder in children
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2017;32(11):872-874
Overactive bladder(OAB) is a clinical syndrome which mainly defined by urinary urgency, and it is mainly diagnosed by clinical manifestations. The pathophysiological mechanisms include detrusor overactive, urethral instability and other neurological or psychiatric factors.Obviously, the dysfunction of detrusor and urethral sphincter can not be diagnosed accurately that consequently affects the treatment significantly by clinical symptoms.Recently, the urodynamic evaluation is recommended for more precise diagnose of OAB.In addition,it has been reported that urinary nerve growth factor and autonomic nervous system function could be used to diagnose OAB in children. The updated techniques diagnosis of OAB in children are summarized in this review.
4.Multiple fundus imaging diagnosis: knowing the principles well for a rational application
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2021;39(5):376-381
Multimodal fundus imaging techniques, based on lights and shadows, appear to have a rapidly great progress in recent years.Fundus imaging techniques are divided into anatomical approaches and functional approaches according to the working characteristics and principle of different instruments.Nowadays, fundus imaging techniques are developing toward a wide field, microview, multimodal, quantitative, and intelligent way. However, to our knowledge, the fundus is very broad with many unexplored territories and unsolved mysteries until now.The road of clinical industrialization of emerging imaging techniques is still long, and there is also a potential challenge in the application of artificial intelligence deep learning in ophthalmology.Multimodal fundus imaging techniques are beneficial for us to accurately diagnose and dynamically monitor eye diseases, but with so many examination methods, how to choose a highly sensitive and specific way to avoid the waste of medical resources and reduce unnecessary financial burden of patients is the responsibility of ophthalmologists.

Chinese Journal of Nephrology 2015;31(4):283-288
Objective To investigate the quality of life (QOL) of maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients and its influencing factors. Methods A total of 257 MHD patients in our hospital were recruited in this study.Clinical data of the patients were collected, and the QOL was assessed by MOS 36 item short form health survey(SF-36).Nutritional status of patients was evaluated by modified quantitative subjective global assessment (MQSGA).Univariate analysis of variance, pearson correlation analysis and multiple linear stepwise regression analysis were performed to determine the effect of related factors on QOL scores. Results The scores of all scales of SF-36 evaluation in MHD patients were relatively lower than that of general population as reported before.Their physiological component summary (PCS) score decreased gradually as age grew, nevertheless, the mental component summary (MCS) score was highest in the group aged 41-60.The score was lower in patients with moderate to severe malnutrition or diabetic nephropathy when compared with other patients.Univariate analysis of variance also revealed that high SF-36 scores associated with higher education or income.Multivariate analysis indicated that PCS score and total SF-36 score of MHD patients were positively correlated with body mass index (BMI) and cholesterol, but negatively correlated with diabetic nephropathy, pulmonary artery systolic pressure and MQSGA score (all P < 0.05).There was positive correlation between MCS score and income, yet negative correlation between MCS score and MQSGA score (all P < 0.05).Conclusion MHD patients had relatively poor QOL.Primary diseases and nutritional status were probably the main influencing factors.Age,educated level, family income and pulmonary artery systolic pressure might also have effects on their QOL.

China Biotechnology 2006;0(08):-
Thrombolytic therapy is a safe and effective way to cure thrombosis. Developing the safe, effective and cheap therapeutic thromolytic agents are important to prevent and cure thrombosis. In recent years, several fibrinolytic enzymes have been found in the resources of Asian traditional fermented foods, such as Japanese natto,Korea Chungkook-Jang,Chinese Douchi and fermented shrimp paste. These fibrinolytic enzymes secreted by food-grade microorganisms are safe and effective, and are potent thrombolytic agents. The physical and biochemical properties, thrombolytic characteristics, and the potential applications of these fibrinolytic enzymes from Asian fermented food, are reviewed.
9.Effect of Adenovirus Type 3I,7b on Expressions of mRNA and Protein of Transforming Growth Factor-Beta 1 in Human Embryonic Lung Fibroblast Cells
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(16):-
Objective To study the effect of adenovirus type 3I,7b on the expressions of mRNA and protein of transforming growth factor-beta 1(TGF-?1) in human embryonic lung fibroblast cells.Method The expression of mRNA and protein of TGF-?1 were determined in human embryonic lung fibroblast cells before and after being infected by adenovirus type 3I,7b and in normal fibroblast cells with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and in situ hybridization. Results The mRNA and protein of TGF-?1 expression in human embryonic lung fibroblast cells increased siginificantly after being infected by adenovirous type 3I,7b compared with those in normal fibroblast cells(Pa0.05).Conclusion Lung fibroblast cells and TGF-?1 may play some roles in pathophysiological processes of viral pneumonia.
10. Rapid determination of eplerenone in human plasma by LC-MS/MS and its application to pharmacokinetic study
Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2012;47(9):703-706
OBJECTIVE: To study the pharmacokinetics of single-and multiple-dose of eplerenone tablets in Chinese healthy volunteers. METHODS: Twelve volunteers were administered a single dose of eplerenone at 25, 50, and 100 mg according to 3 × 3 Latin square design. In multiple-dose study, 10 volunteers were administered eplerenone of 50 mg per day for 6 d. Eplerenone concentration in plasma was determined by LC-MS/MS. RESULTS: The main pharmacokinetic parameters of single-dose eplerenone of 25, 50 and 100 mg in 12 volunteers were as follows: ρmax (450.2±146.2), (765.2±258.2), and (1262±428) μg·L-1, tmax (1.71±0.33), (2.06±1.01) and (2.79±1.48) h, t1/2(2.50±0.39), (2.69±0.55) and (2.84±0.53) h, AUC0-24h (2410±778), (4403±1522) and (8202±2398) μg·h·L-1, AUC0-∞ (2429±774), (4426±1523) and (8246±2407) μg·h·L-1. In the multiple-dose study, the main pharmacokinetic parameters after the first dose and those at steady state were as follows: tmax (3.40±1.27) and (2.65±1.00) h, t1/2(3.03±0.66) and (3.22±0.62) h, ρmax (690.7±207.4) and (743.2±192.3), μg·L-1, ρSSmin(12.81±9.64) μg·L-1, ρavss (219.0±59.6) μg·L-1, and AUCSS (5256±1431) μg·h·L-1 CONCLUSION: The pharmacokinetics of eplerenone in human is linear in the range of 25-100 mg. There is no drug accumulation after multiple dosing. Copyright 2012 by the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association.
